Everything. We were checked into a smelly room. Only after complaining a few times we were given another room, with no view. The toilet flush did not stop throughout our stay. We had to wait for 5 hours before we received the roll away bed. The dinner was tasteless. This property needs a serious overhaul.

Valet, housekeeping, restaurant servers, front desk all gave us top notch care. They were personable and asked great questions to meet our expectations. The view, grounds, sunsets were incredible. It’s was such a treat to be pampered especially since we were celebrating my wife’s birthday. Hope to visit again. Grateful for this memorable experience. 😉

The room was a bit small, however, very efficient lay out. It’s minor but the opening of the shower door is a bit awkward. I made the mistake of showering the bathroom floor the 1st use. The patio doors were difficult to open but loved having a place to sit outside!

Booked a partial ocean view as advertised in internet - couldn’t see ocean at all from room - had to get outside and standing looking over a roof to be able to see some ocean - way overpriced for what you get tiles in bathroom loose - needs renovation

The staff was lovely, very attentive and helpful in every way.

We booked a queen room, king bed, balcony with a garden view. Three days before our stay, we received an email from the property telling us we had a double room with two queen beds. We called booking.com, they contacted the property and sorted out the issue. Upon arrival, we were surprised because it was a queen room with a king bed, but it was subterranean and there was a view of the garden but we were below it and our room was dark. I looked back at our original booking, and it said "balcony, inner courtyard, garden view." By definition a balcony is a platform enclosed by a wall or balustrade on the outside of a building, with access from an upper-floor window or door. Based on the description of the booking, we thought we were overlooking a garden. There was no mention it was subterranean. I don't know if this happened because they were overbooked and gave away our original room. We had booked this room months in advance, and in my opinion, they should have honored our original booking. We will never know. It was very disappointing. My husband and I decided we probably won't stay there again.

Property was very clean. Angel Oak was excellent.

I wish we knew before booking that it was a family resort. I would say 85% of the visitors had young children. I did not like the buffet bistro. It was over priced. All of the restaurants were a little over priced but the buffet was extremely over priced. The property is far from the city, forcing visitors to overly pay for food. It felt like when you are in an airport forced to pay for mediocre food. For breakfast coffee, the tiny pitcher of milk, the size of a shot glass was $8. There wasn't a newspaper or magazine to buy on the property. The experience felt like we were stuck on a cruise ship. Our room was near the family pools. It's just not a resort for people without children. The healthiest food was behind a $500 a day pay wall. We didn't pay for it. We usually stay at San Ysidro Ranch but thought it would be nice to stay at the beach. I think one issue is the property is so large you can't give personal service, which is expected at a luxury resort.

Beautiful property. Very well maintained and clean. The staff was exceptional!

My only complaint is when someone occupied the room above us and they used the shower or toilet, the pipes were sooo loud! It was annoying continuously getting woken up from the sound.

the view to the ocean, the spa, the pool, and the restaurants on property were great! the service was great too but we were put next to a bell service door where the employees keep the cleaning supplies so we heard them slamming the door every morning at various times of the day which made it difficult to have restful sleep. other than that it was amazing

The whole staff and the resort were wonderful. The whole experience was great.

Honestly, I can't think of anything that was bad. The whole trip was wonderful.
