We had a wonderful time at Coolnest. It was close to everything - beaches and shops yet set in a private and serene street. We loved the back verandah it was the perfect spot for breakfast and reading time in the morning while the kids played and digged in the sandpit in the backgarden. We cooked every day in the kitchen which was very well equipped. Madeleine was an excellent host and was very prompt in replying all our enquiries and went out of her way to help us. We will be back!

Lovely little holiday with our 6 year old and fur baby !! Would have loved to have stayed longer, the location and area are quiet and have a real summer holiday vibe. Loved the beaches that are both within walking distance. Hope to be able to stay again soon - thanks so much !

We have just had our 2nd stay at this great, clean, fuss free house. Madeline has everything there you could ever need on your beach holiday, and the good internet & access to Netflix etc was a game changer for the kids on rainy days. For those with kids who like Cricket - the drive down the side is a perfect pitch! I would highly recommend Coolnest and intend to take my family back next year for another wonderful holiday.

This property was perfect for our family of 5. The kids had heaps of space to run around outside and everything was well-equipped. Madeleine was flexible and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back again!

We love this place! The location is excellent, close to,the beach and the doggie beach, walking distance to the shops and the pub, where nowadays you get amazing pizzas! I love that I can contact the owner directly, not just an agent, and she is so easy to discuss things with! And the house has a lovely, warm family vibe. Already planning the next trip

Excellent service from the time of booking until leaving the property. The house is filled with everything you could possibly require. Exceptionally clean and filled with a wonderful atmosphere it always makes me feel at home and very relaxed. It’s within walking distance to lovely beaches and the local shops. We have enjoyed a lot of good accommodation over the years, but Cool Nest stands above. The place is a home away from home, comfortable and one of the cleanest properties we have stateyed in. The attention to detail and the small touches that you don't normally notice is outstanding. Super comfy beds, nice bathroom and great kitchen (with gas stove). Great property if you have dogs, with a secure yard, and a beautiful deck that has a childproof/dogproof gate that allows you to lock the furbabies in/out. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return. Highly recommended.

The house was spacious, clean and well appointed. It was located near beaches, walking trails, restaurants and the shops in Hawks Nest. The owner was friendly and helpful prior to our arrival. The children had great fun on their bicycles as Hawks Nest is relatively flat and has lots of pathways and cycleways. Hawks Nest is a peaceful retreat that is family-oriented.

Our dog loves the beach and this property is just perfect for us. We love the house and how well equipped it is and look forward to staying a third time

A very comfortable house, lovely and clean, really well equipped and presented. There's a big deck, perfect for evening drinks or maybe breakfast, alfresco. If you've got a dog its a perfect location - literally just a few minutes walk to any one of the three beaches that are perfect for a doggy sniff or maybe chasing a ball!

This is a great holiday home - spotlessly clean, close to the beach and well appointed inside, including small thoughtful additions like teabags, olive oil for cooking and salt and pepper. Plenty of space to relax indoors and a lovely sunny deck to eat outdoors. We definitely recommend Cool Nest!

Cool Nest was a lovely, beautiful place to stay. It was quiet and relaxing, exactly what my family was looking for. The yard was securely fenced and our dogs loved playing in the large space and greeting us after we pulled into the driveway. The gated deck is an amazing feature that protects pets and little ones from exiting and entering vehicles. The kitchen and living areas are huge and fully equipped with everything you could need. My family enjoyed having a huge kitchen to cook in and more than once had three course meals for dinner. The bedrooms are quite nice, providing plenty of beds for a large family like mine. The main bedroom has heating but the two smaller bedrooms do not, so these rooms got a little chilly during the night. Cool Nest is an all round awesome place to stay. We will definitely going going back in summer!

The house is in a great location. The yard was secure for my dog. The amenities in the house were fantastic, everything you needed. Also the house was spotless, the beds comfortable and the inclusion of Netflix and Stan made it a home away from home. I highly recommend this property for anyone seeking a relaxing holiday.

We were extremely pleased with Cool Nest, it was very clean, well presented, pleasant outlook, had everything that we wanted and was nice and quiet. Wasn't too far from the beach or the Café. I would highly recommend this place to couples or families. We will definitely come back here again.
