Raglan Cottage was just what we need for our beach escape. The sunsets over the bay were spectacular to watch while enjoying a nice drink after a stroll along the beach with our woofie. The beach is only an 5 minute walk away and shops a casual 20 minute stroll.
Christine ensured that we needed for nothing while we were there. Kitchen has everything you need, has an amazing oven!! And the three bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. It was so nice and quiet; great place to hide from the city.

Our extended family inc dog had a wonderful week at this casual low key beach side town. Property suited us very well and the one issue we had was resolved very quickly. Our welcome bottle of wine was a nice touch.

Raglan cottage was a lovely old house that was well appointed and served our family (3 teenage boys) well.
The location was a drive away to Culburra shops and great coffee with beach, fishing spots and skate park close by. A good escape from the rat race indeed.
The house however, was in need of a good clean and was internally very dusty and floors/walls not clean. Feedback on this was taken really well, and I thank Christine for her warm welcome and help when we were loooking for it for car trouble.

Lovely stay at this property.. comfy beds, a lovely kitchen, deck and view to the water. Fabulous walks in close proximity. Walk, eat, read, sleep.. repeat.

Property was clean and in a quiet location. Lots of books, games, etc available to enjoy while relaxing. Great kitchen and living areas. Beds were comfortable. Pooch loved the large yard to play fetch. A great property for a family holiday with pets.

We had a great time - the house is neat and tidy and has everything we needed. We enjoyed the location - looking over the water and being able to walk to the beach. We were pleased to be able to take our dog and had fun playing board games that were provided. We hope to return.

Simple & lovely
Our stay at Raglan Cottage was simply lovely. It’s a perfect little retreat for families. Highlights were waking up to a view of pelicans on the lake from the main bedroom and the kids found the bus in the yard a source of endless entertainment. The fully screened back deck meant we could have meals outside without the threat of mozzies and the short walk to the doggie friendly Culburra beach was a win. The cottage is simple but has everything you need.

Great little cottage
We had a lovely stay at Raglan Cottage. It’s simple but comfortable with an excellent renovated kitchen. We brought our small dog, and it was perfectly set up for her as well. The dog-off-leash beach down the road was perfect. Culburra Beach is a hidden gem of a location. Quiet, low key but with great amenities. Some of the local cafes were top notch. There were three patrolled beaches within an 8 minute drive plus a wonderful lighthouse walk. The cottage itself has lovely gardens, a large lawn and is very quiet. It was really relaxing, comfortable and practical. The vibe was exactly what we wanted in a summer beach holiday.

This was the perfect place for our family holiday- we would have loved to stay longer!
Everything was perfect-the kitchen is amazing and we enjoyed cooking in it and then relaxing on the screened deck. There wasn’t anything else we needed.

Fabulous small beach town
Christine made us very welcomed. House was very much as described, beds were comfortable and kitchen was awesome. The house was walking distance to the surf beach but not near the flags. Access to the inlet from the back of property was possible . Great holiday.

From the initial contact with the owner, the whole booking process was friendly and seamless.The owner was so accommodating and her communication with me was sufficient without being either suffocating or lacking.Arriving at the house I was so impressed with its cleanliness and location, how abundantly stocked the house was with essential items and the overall aura of the home. I came from western Victoria to relax with family and friends and this home provided the perfect base for that to occur.Taking the dogs to the dog friendly beach each morning and afternoon for a swim was definitely the highlight of our stay.Returning to the house after our swim and kicking back on the verandah with some amazing local oysters and beers was the perfect end to each day.I cannot thank the owner enough for allowing us to share their little piece of paradise. We will definitely be returning.

Arriving at the house I was so impressed with its cleanliness and location, how abundantly stocked the house was with essential items and the overall aura of the home. I came from western Victoria to relax with family and friends and this home provided the perfect base for that to occur.
Taking the dogs to the dog friendly beach each morning and afternoon for a swim was definitely the highlight of our stay.
Returning to the house after our swim and kicking back on the verandah with some amazing local oysters and beers was the perfect end to each day.
I cannot thank the owner enough for allowing us to share their little piece of paradise. We will definitely be returning.

An excellent relaxing house
We had an excellent time at raglan cottage, and will definitely come again. Close enough to walk to the beach, a lovely enclosed deck area to prevent mosquito attacks, a good bbq we did all our cooking on. Everything we could need, including board games and a comfortable bed.

Awesome place loved it
Recently stayed and had a great time. The area is fantastic and the actual house is just perfect. Everything that you could possible need is available, the house has all the mod cons. Very spacious great for kids, fell in love with it instantly. We had our pugs with us and they loved it at no point was I concerned for them dog owners would know when you go away with your four legged friends you normally spend a great deal of time fussing over them,here they happily sat on the porch and explored the back yard there are no cars zipping around or other people you need to be concerned about. we had a short walk to the beach every day the place was peaceful and quiet. Mozzies are bad at night however if you keep the screens shut and light a coil out back once it gets dark there no problem, part of huge abundance of wildlife in the area. Awesome location, fantastic property and super nice people to deal with. As long as this place is available we will be visiting. Thanks again for everything.

Great beach holiday getaway in lovely surroundings
Spacious, comfortable, lovely cottage in peaceful and picturesque surroundings. So relaxing sitting on the verandah looking out on the bay and seeing all the birds. Great beaches nearby and fantastic seafood at Pelican Rocks cafe. We will be back. Thanks so much Christine!!

Charming and comfortable property with a lovely deck and garden
We stayed for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The backyard bus and massive garden was a huge hit with the kids, and the huge back deck with a bbq and loads of lounging furniture had excellent mosquito-screening, so I could enjoy the sunsets on the lake without getting bitten! We spotted loads of birds, and the nearby surf beach was a huge hit with our dog and kids - lots of fun rock pools up the top and a lovely sweep of coral sand to play on. For safe swimming and calm waters, Currarong is in easy driving distance.
The house has lots of nice little extras; comfy beds, lots of kitchen items, spices and extras in the pantry and plenty of cleaning products.

Fabulous beach holiday cottage
We stayed at Raglan Cottage for a second time and again enjoyed it immensely, as did our two little dogs. The cottage is very clean and well appointed and we appreciated the improvements made since our first stay, particularly the new BBQ and fab shower head! Except for the mozzies (which are bad everywhere this year because of the rain), it was another fabulous Christmas beach holiday. Helen

Great Cottage Getaway
Great cottage that is only a short walk to the beach and quick drive into Culburra. Perfect for kids as the back deck is completely enclosed. The bus was also good fun for the kids.

Great Place to Stay
Stayed for a week and thoughly enjoyed the accomodation. Very Cleen and woke each morning to river view, lots of room.
The sun room was terrific on a cool morning.
Big BBQ, we had guests over fo rbreakfast and tea and cooked for 8 people without any problem.
Clean and tidy in a quiet street.

Great value family house in quiet beach town
We were so relaxed here - and so was the dog! The kids loved the bus. The enclosed verandah was great for the dog. The kitchen and all the appliances were in great condition. What an unexpected selection of herbs & spices in the cupboard - all in date! We even cooked up some Warrigal Greens for dinner - picked from the back yard. A great house for the autumn or spring

Very relaxing, great for kids & close to the beach
The property was very clean & spacious with comfortable beds. The kids loved the bus while the adults enjoyed the outdoor verandah, the sunroom would be divine in the cooler months. Only a few minutes walk to the beach & lovely views of the river from the backyard & master bedroom.
