Well furnished, I felt at home

The bathroom is really small and would need a shelf.

We liked the smile and warm welcome of our host. The nice, calm and clean neighborhood, the location, close to the center of Lund.

Loved the free bikes. Carlotta was very helpful. We stayed 4 days so it was nice to have laundry. I’ hope tostay there again next visit

We were there during a heat wave and the apartment was warm. But that’s true if everywhere we went (museums, restaurants) in Lund in August.

calm and well equiped for a short stay. Lund is a great town too !

a bit hot in midsommer

The apartment is small, but very comfortable. It had everything I needed for cooking (array of pans and utensils; plates, cups, cutlery etc.) and the bathroom (towels, hair dryer, space for placing my items). Very comfy bed! I also liked that it was close by the city center and that it was an overall quiet and easily accessible location. If I needed something, the host was always available and I enjoyed the self check-in to avoid awkward waiting times!

The freezer in the fridge wasn’t that cold, but it didn’t bother me overall.

The host was very easy to communicate with and very helpful. The location is very nice - quiet but still close to the city center.

Perfect for solo traveler. Very nice and helpful manager. It is very close to the center of Lund. I appreciated having a parking spot and access to a bike.

Location was excellent for getting into the town

The beds were very low and pillows too small.The fan in the bathroom did not work. So it filled with steam during use of the shower and after.

The room had all the essentials I needed. The free loan of a bicycle was a terrific bonus. Location to the centre is good. The property is clean and well managed. Communication with the management is great. Friendly and responsive.

Wifi was occasionally intermittent. Probably my room was furthest from the modem being a single room in the rear loft space. It worked enough for my basic needs.

A really good and quite neighbourhood. Just 15 walk to the center and you can borrow a bike to move around it. It has a washing machine and a dryer in a common area.

The WIFI didn't work too fast but so the streamings that I tried to watch didn't go so fluent. It will be good if they let some detergent for the washing machine.

I was staying at VillaVega for 6th or 7th time. You have everything you need for a short and longer stay: a comfortable bed, a desk to work, bathroom/shower, kitchenette with a stovetop, an oven, microwave, a fridge. The apartment (no1) was spacious. You can use a bike. The owner, Charlotta, responds almost immediately to inquiries. Villa Vega is located in a quiet part of Lund, 10 min walking to Mårtenstorget (coop supermarket, Saluhallen, restaurants, a number of shops, post office), 12-15 min to the Botanic Garden, 20 min walking to the University. There same distance to the train station. Quite reliable WiFi, TV with a limited no of channels.

Nothing important to be mentioned (perhaps price, but it is Sweden - and VillaVega is still relatively cheap in comparison with other places in Lund)

you have all the needed facilities for your stay

the amount of space compared to a hotel room; the four beds in a row which is cinvenient for a family with small kids; the desk spaces upstairs.

the staircase: terrible if you have small kids. the bathroom: tiny. the bedroom: underground, so a bit depressive. one of the beds: bad quality. temperature: a bit cold downstairs at night.

Very helpful owner, who is always quick to react to messages. Large, clean, and well equipped apartment with all the necessary amenities. Optimal location relatively close to the highway exit, but at the same time very quiet at night. Within 10-minute walk there is a nice freely accessible botanic garden, and the walking distance to the Lund town centre with the famous cathedral is only a bit longer. Possibility to park freely just by the apartment, reliable wifi.

The apartment is perfect for two people, but the additional bedroom is substandard (despite the efforts to make it cosy) as it is located underground (with only small windows) next to the kitchen and bathroom, thus having a 'cellar' smell and look.

My 5th or 6th stay at Villa Vega. Huge apartment, all the necessary facilities: a cooker, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, a coffee machine. Great location - quiet and close to the center of the city. Fast and reliable wifi. I recommend it for both: short and longer stays. Bicycles are available for guests.

My fifth (or so) stay at Villa Vega Apts. This time apt no 8. As usual - I am satisfied. The apartment is located in a quiet part of Lund. Very close to the city center. You have everything that is necessary for everyday functioning (a stove, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, dishes, tv&cd-player). Washing machine (shared) is also available in the building. Very good wifi. You can use a bike as well. What is important: the host immediately responds to inquiries (thank you!). Unforgettable sounds of bird-singing in the morning and in the evening :)

This apartment lacks a regular wardrobe. The bathroom would benefit slight refurbishment.
