Wir haben und pudelwohl gefühlt. Aufmerksame, zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter. Ein Wort und sie hätten es sofort geändert oder organisiert. Von Ilmenau aus einen super Start in den Thüringer Wald. Und wer geschichtlich interessiert ist hat hier ebenfalls einrn guten Ausgangspunkt. Zum Essen gehen abends empfehlen wir das Restaurant "Zur Post" Urgemütlich und familiär. Das Zentrum fußläufig gut zu erreichen.

Vielleicht beim Frühstück etwas mehr Abwechslung. Obst, (nicht nur Salat) Fisch, Speck zum Rührei - welches ansonsten wirklich war. Aber geschmeckt hat es ja doch.

Loved my stay, 8/10, but it had a few slight negatives. Breakfast buffet did not have the widest choice as other hotels i've stayed at, but what was there was excellent quality. Great noise blocking in the rooms. Even though i was on the side looking out over the road there was almost no noise audible unless i opened the windows. Staff were very friendly and switched to English without any issues.

Breakfast buffet didn't have that many choices. Renovations were ongoing on my floor, so a slight smell of fresh paint was hanging in the corridor, but this did not extend into the room. Doors seem to close at a certain time in the evening around or before 23:00, but this was not immediately shown nor was there a bell at the front doors to call for someone to come open. Luckily there was someone cleaning the lobby which could let me in.

Personal very friendly, it was clean and the breakfast was not bulky but enougth to cover our needs.

The room could have had a mini bar to store our jogurt for instance. the bed war a bit hard and an extra pillow would have been good to see the TV. No telefone in the room to contact reception. Otherwise all was very good.

even a comfort room has not much space to store clothes, a proper wardrobe is missing. Bathroom pretty small. 1 year old baby is charged 5 euros per night (without any extra baby bed)
