Secluded Cabin on Lake Travis- pet friendly
Circle J cabine a été construit en 1940 et a été rénové en 2004 avec le charme et la chaleur d'une propriété au bord du lac rustique situé sur les belles rives du lac Travis. Il a été repensé pour offrir tous les conforts de la maison tels que les appareils en acier inoxydable, les ventilateurs de plafond partout, comptoirs personnalisés tuiles, au design unique salles de bains (une promenade dans la douche et une griffe baignoire de pied) et les chambres confortablement aménagées. L'intérieur de Circle-J est accentué avec des planchers en béton fini unique, un salon voûté de plafond avec des meubles personnalisés qui contribuent à rendre ce une véritable retraite au bord du lac.
Les grandes fenêtres et véranda en élargi permet aux visiteurs de profiter du paysage Central Texas naturel. This was our 4th time to stay at Circle J Ranch. For our family, it is a perfect place for a relaxing long weekend. A real get-away for 3 adults who live/work in the city. And our labrador enjoys the stay as well. Joy and Tracy are great hosts. The ranch house is always clean when we arrive and has everything we need for a comfortable stay.

Property was excellent and the stay was great. It was very peaceful and relaxing and a great couple of days with friends. Also nice that the clouds cleared during the entire totality. Recommend the place wholeheartedly and will likely revisit some day.

Found this absolute gem for a intimate friends-family rendezvous and the facilities more than satisfied during transition season w/ terrific ambient temperatures, winds, weather and during peak blue bonnet bloom (wish the review would provide the submission of photos).
Our 10 yo golden retriever (approval needed before booking) had a ball even though we didn't let her swim since the lakeshore was mud filled w/ the Lake Travis water level is only 37% full (ugh!).
Tracy and Joy (best hosts ever) have this extremely clean stone cabin with plenty of history set up ideally w/ all the fixins, soft luxurious linens, AC, ceiling fans and a wonderful screened porch w/ ceiling fans overlooking the lake for a small group.
Next time, we'll try to arrange our stay when the Flat Creek Winery is serving. This vrbo cottage is a 'Can't Miss!' Thank you.

We had a great time at the Lake Cabin! Our dogs really enjoyed all the open space and swimming in the lake. The cabin was very clean and stayed nice and cool even in the heat. The enclosed porch was really nice to have as well. We had everything we needed, and thankfully brought food and drinks since the closest stores aren’t very close.
There was a nearby summer camp using the property’s dock to take kids out in boats, but all our interactions with them were great, everyone was very friendly…and our pups enjoyed the extra pets!

This was our third time to stay at Circle J, and it was just as nice as the first time. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Deer came through the property each evening at dusk. If you need a break from your regular routine, this is the place to stay. For a nearby place to enjoy pizza, wine and good music, we recommend Flat Creek Winery.

The seclusion of the rental was truly unparalleled. Tucked away, the property offered complete privacy and seclusion, allowing us to disconnect from the outside world and truly immerse ourselves in the serenity of nature. We relished in the peacefulness of our surroundings, enjoying the chirping of birds, the rustling of leaves, and the gentle whisper of the wind. It was a rare opportunity to truly unplug and recharge in a serene, secluded paradise.

This was our second stay here, and we loved it even more this time around! The best way to describe this place is serene. It’s isolated, surrounded by trees, water views, quiet. We loved sitting on the porch to read, watch an amazing lightning storm or just to drink our morning coffee and listening to the birds. The house is well-kept, clean, and comfortable. Puppy friendly! It’s only 1 mile from Flat Creek Estate Winery which has amazing wines, great pizza on the pavilion (also puppy friendly!), and a place for an elegant wine tasting or dinner. We plan to visit here once or twice a year to get away from the busy Houston area and have some quiet serenity for a little while.

This is hands down the most charming VRBO we have ever booked. The interior was cozy and comfortable with all the amenities you could ever need. The grounds and screened patio were incredible. It was a treat to wake up to such beautiful views. Our pups had a great time, as did we. Highly recommend this spot for peaceful relaxation.

Relaxed and breezy
This was my first time renting house and not a hotel. This place was so much better than a hotel. The grounds were secluded and beautiful. There was a breeze at all times which made relaxing out side so pleasant. Plenty of space for the dogs to run and enjoy the outdoors. We swam out in the lake right off the property every day. The water was perfect.
I had a couple of questions and was able to reach Tracy right away and she answered my questions. The house is a perfect retreat from city life. Other than groceries they had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were so cute!

Very Clean & Private with Huge Yard.
I visited this property for Memorial Day weekend with friends and two dogs. I've been to many rented property for long holidays but this property is the best cleanest. I was surprised how clean kitchen was with all dishes, bathrooms, bedrooms... all area was so clean. Huge yard, private, walking distance to lake. We enjoyed swimming in the lake and relax in the porch. My two dogs had so much fun swimming, walking all day, finally at night, snoring loud when they're asleep. We put chairs, canopy, snacks in the wagon and roll down to water. So I recommend to bring a wagon & canopy if you're going to swim in the lake. There are many rocks near the water so definitely bring water shoes. I recommend this place and will return in the future.

Another Great Stay at Circle J
This was our second time to stay at Circle J Ranch, and it was just as nice as we remembered. A very relaxing place to spend a long weekend, away from the noise and fast pace of our usual daily life. The house/linens/kitchen supplies were all very clean. We spent an afternoon at the nearby Flat Creek Winery - enjoying excellent pizza, wine and music under the pavilion. Highly recommend it as a spot to visit. Looking forward to a third stay next year.

Lovely Property
The property is secluded and very quiet. It is great for a peaceful get-away. A few things to be aware of that may or may not impact one's stay depending on what you are looking for are: the fireplace is a "non working" fireplace so really there is no fireplace; contrary to what the picture of the property shows there is no propane grill, only a small charcoal grill so be sure to bring charcoal, grill screens, etc.,; and the rope on the hammock is decaying so it may not be very usable.

Secluded Getaway
Quiet, relaxing property with a beautiful view of the lake. The house is cozy and has all the pots and pans you need to cook.
Lots of room for dogs to run around outside without the worry of busy roads nearby.

“Retreat” for Thanksgiving
Although we should be thankful every day, this quiet, beautiful, peaceful place was perfect for “being still” long enough to think on those things that are important and to bring to mind those things we take for granted every day.
Peaceful is the word. We played and rested peacefully under the trees and by the lake.
The house was very clean and accommodating. The history behind the “ Big House” made it even more special…like we were part of the family for a few days.
The hostesses made it all come together, making it a perfect place to give thanks.

We really enjoyed the screened porch. Great place to sit with a cup of coffee/tea in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. Property was as described and very clean.

Great get away
We were looking for a rustic get away that had a lot of out door activities and this was perfect. We spent a ton of time on the porch (my grandson was fascinated by the reindeer foot prints in the cement), down at the beach swimming and kayaking, cooking hot dogs over the fire, and going for walks. The house was well stocked and we had plenty of room to hang out and play, even on rainy days.

Beautiful Getaway
The house is so beautiful and the property was a nice, serene place to be. We enjoyed being able to walk to the water, sit on the front porch in the evenings, and the dogs got to run around and play. It was the perfect trip for us to getaway from the city and enjoy time outdoors.

Gorgeous and Peaceful
We had a wonderful time relaxing at this beautiful lakeside property. The surrounding grounds are just stunning, with old trees, deer, and tons of beautiful birds. The lake was great for swimming, and we were also able to drive out to a few lakeside attractions while we were there. The cabin was very clean and well kept. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for some peace, quiet, and beautiful surroundings. I do echo previous recommendations for bringing water shoes (we bought some on the way over and ended up using them everyday). Owners were very quick in responding to any questions. Overall we had a great and relaxing time!

We came for a long weekend away from the city, and this house was perfect for that. Inside was clean and comfortable. Outside was well maintained. Porch was our favorite hangout. So much better than imagined
Secluded describes this property perfectly. We had plenty of space and privacy to enjoy our time there. The pictures did not do the house justice, and we were so very pleasantly surprised. Everything was clean and well stocked for most any need we had. The hosts were prompt in replying and communicating which made planning this trip easier. We had not even left the property before starting to make plans for our next trip to stay there. Cannot recommend this spot enough!

We live in Austin and just wanted to hangout by the lake for the weekend and it was perfect and so nice for speedboats to be the only traffic we heard! We loved every minute of it! This was our second stay ay Circle J, and it remains a wonderful Hill Country getaway. The property is ideal: secluded but still close to both Lago Vista and Marble Falls. The same goes for the hosts, who are warm and welcoming. We'll be back--again and again!

This was our family's second time staying at the Circle J and once again, it was perfect. It's quiet, clean, and comfortable, exactly what we needed in our hectic lives.
