We enjoyed our stay at this property. Communication with Doug was prompt and accurate. As long as you do not mind a walk to the beach, it is a great location.

This was a great family vacation. It was close to the beach and coming back to a private pool was a plus. The house had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the home. The home was nicely decorated. We really had a great, relaxing time.

My family and I stayed in this house for 10 days. We really liked the location. 8 minute walking distance from the beach. The owner was responsive, if we had any questions, he would respond right away.

The owner very responsive to questions. However, the bathrooms were not as clean as we expected. I recommend new couches as they were worn and uncomfortable. Kitchen well stocked with spices and dishes and would recommend more glasses. Overall, it was a good place to stay and would be even better if these suggestions would be followed.

This property was perfect for our family Holiday gathering. Plenty of room and very comfortable for six adults and our five grandkids (ages 2 to 16). The roof top deck was a big hit with everyone. The owner was incredibly responsive to our multiple questions and requests - none were problem related - just minor thermostat adjustments and general queries. Would definitely stay here again. Only issue we experienced was the non-stick pans were underperformers. John C.

Location was great. Enjoyed pool. Village was fun and appreciated the free rides.

First of all Doug was very responsive to all our needs. Had one problem which he solved right away. All questions about the area, transportation, places to eat were answered immediately. The house was clean and well supplied with towels, dishes, utensils etc. Pool was great and the kids used it all the time. Only a few minutes to the beach and about 15-20 minute walk to the village. We are so glad we found this rental and next time back to Siesta Keys will be staying there again.

This house is in a perfect location, walking distance to both the village and the beach. The house offers privacy for families and is great for big families or multiple generations. We have enjoyed our stay both years and would stay again.

Awful experience! I had a week long rental agreement with owner but the area is zoned for month long rentals only. Owners expected me and my party to lie and say we were only guests, not renting. The neighbors did not want the weekly renters, and they let us know that they were unhappy about the owner breaking the zoning ordinance. The neighbors called the police, for the most ridiculous reason ( boys were outside talking in the driveway at 7pm, no music, just talking, so of course the rational thing to do is call the police), neighbors entered the property twice, without asking, or knocking. The second time the neighbor came right up on the rooftop deck and yelled at my son to turn his music down ( it was 4pm and the music was not loud, 3 boys were downstairs and did not even hear any music, but they heard the neighbor confront my son). We had a BBQ and the neighbor came over at 5pm and asked us to keep it down. It was constant all week, we could not relax and enjoy the property , especially not outside for fear a neighbor would lodge another compliant. Also, the owner has the house up for sale and a realtor called during our stay and asked if we could leave the property so she could show it! I never would have rented this property for a week if I had known it was not zoned for weekly rentals. The neighbors are clearly sick of the owner breaking the zoning rule and their dissatisfaction showed in their actions toward us. We had a stressful week!

This house had enough beds for our party of 9. It is convenient to both the village and the beach on a quite street. We had a great time in Siesta Key!

We are residents of Sarasota, but had family visiting from New Zealand--son and wife with two small children--and our daughter from Columbus, Ohio, so we needed more space. The Siesta Beach Hideaway was a great choice. There was room for everyone to have their own space, we all (especially the little ones) loved the pool, and being able to walk to the beach and village was a big plus, as parking can be an issue during the season. Accommodations were clean and well maintained. Steps could be an problem for anyone with a disability, but for us this was a great choice.

Great location with lots of space. Pool was great and Village is amazing. We went on fishing charter and they prepared catch for several dinners. House was recently remodeled and new kitchen is perfect. Only downside is one week not enough to see everything Sarasota has to offer. We will be booking again next year.

We needed a place that would sleep the 11 of us that were visiting family in the Sarasota area. This place was easily able to do this. It's really close to the beach on Siesta Key, about a one block walk and pretty close to the stores there too. The grandkids, as well as the adults were in the pool almost everyday. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant. We would definitely stay there again. ..

Despite the red tide hitting the week we were there we enjoyed ourselves. Having the pool was terrific.

There were 9 of us from our family and so the size and layout of the house was perfect. If someone wanted to get away for a bit, they could always find a space to do that - the pool, the rooftop, or one of the bedrooms. We didn't mind the walks to the beach or Village as all of us are used to walking, but if we needed to drive to the beach or Village we could always find a parking space. The house was clean and comfortable. We felt the linens - tea towels, towels and wash cloths could be updated, and the beachcart replaced or repaired as it was broken when we got there. We appreciated being able to reach the owner with a slight problem and enjoyed meeting his son as we were checking out. Thanks so much for helping to make our vacation in Siesta Key a great one!

Had a wonderful vacation here. House was very accommodating for all ten of us. It is very conveniently located to the beach, restaurants, and the village.

Had a great time on this vacation. This was my granddaughter's graduation gift. "A beach where she could see her feet." This home is just over a block walk to the beach entrance. The house has a swimming pool in which the four teenagers enjoyed during the hot afternoons and quiet evenings after their times at the beach. It also has a rooftop deck that they enjoyed. The master bedroom of the first floor was large enough that all the teenagers hung out there. It has its own kitchenette and large TV that they could use when they had to be inside. Upstairs had the main kitchen in which we enjoyed several seafood dinners at the large dinning table, a living room and a second master bedroom. If we were to return to Siesta Keys, this home would be a great rental for us.

We had 10 adults in the house and it was a perfect size for us. There was enough room for everyone to either be together or have some alone time. The beach was a block away and had a great entrance path that led to the private side on right or the public side that had lifeguards on left. The village is a 1/2 mile away and easily accessible. We would love to stay there again. Our only advice is to bring beach towels and remember to buy paper products at the food store:)

We arrived an hour early on a Saturday, and stopped by the property, it was clean and ready for us, we moved in for a week, and had a wonderful time, this house is not a fancy house, but nice, great location, kids had fun in nice pool, good parking area, easy walk to the beach, quiet neighborhood, We had one small issue, Robert was easy to contact and helped us with it. We also had trouble getting our down payment to him because of some mistakes we made on the address, and Robert was very patient with us and held property for us anyway. Very easy to work with, I would recommend this property and may book again in future

The weather was too cold for the beach most of the week, but we found plenty to do in Sarasota. We flew a kite on the beach on a cold, windy day. With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, the whole extended family got along pretty well. We cooked a dinner one night and had everything we needed as far as utensils and pots and pans. Wifi worked great which kept the teens happy. The pool was a big hit with the little ones on the one warm day we had. The master jacuzzi tub got plenty of use this week because of the cold. This house has great access to the beach and plenty of room for the family to spread out and have their own space when needed. Also we didn't see any bugs and the home was clean.

There was 11 of us and everything was wonderful! Walked to the beach and walked to the village! First time for our family to get together like this and it was awesome. Everyone enjoyed having the pool.

Home is well laid out to provide different schedules without interrupting everyone. We had family drop in throughout the day, and it worked great. The best parking. We also rented 2 other homes, but this had the best parking situation. You can walk to beach, Siesta Key for shopping or dining. The AC worked appropriately, as did all the appliances.

The house was clean and beautiful, with 2 outside entrances it was convenient to get all 14 of us out the door, it's the little things like doors that make vacationing easier. The pool area was fenced in and perfect for my little kids and little dogs who were fascinated with the lizards, the pool was clean and clear water, the kids almost lived in it and were a golden brown when left for Ohio. The beds were very comfortable with ample pillows and blankets, the tv's could had been in a better location, but no I really watched it lol, but it did have all the shows we had at home. There was plenty of parking as we were 4 family's parking mattered. There were plenty of cookware n plates n such for the times we ate in and grills, pool and beach toys, plenty of railing to hang towels, the amount of stuff he had for his guests to use was great. The walk to the beach was exciting for the kids, so much to see and the sand soo soft, even though they didn't like salt water lol it was so funny. The roof top was where the tweens and teens hung out and us oldies not so much. We had to get a hold of Robert once who was prompt in replying and fixed the light switch straight away, he was friendly and made us feel at home. I know I used great a lot in this review and thats because it was great, nice friendly people , neighbors, people walking their pets, kids riding bike, the people at the beach and the village people.
