Cozy Dog-friendly Lakefront Vacation Getaway on Cayuga Lake
Spacieuse maison du lac propre est sur le côté ouest du lac Cayuga et sur la route des vins. Nous sommes à un peu plus de 2 heures des chutes du Niagara. Près des sentiers de randonnée. Grand lac pour la pêche. La maison du ranch est d'environ 1 900 pieds carrés sur une propriété de 0,5 acre. Profitez du lever et du coucher du soleil tout au long de l'année pendant que le feu vole et que les hirondelles se produisent occasionnellement. Recherchez les hérons bleus et les balbuzards pêcheurs alors qu'ils plongent et ramassent un poisson pour leur repas. Vous pouvez même trouver le vison résident qui longe le bord du lac. Respirez l'air frais et détendez-vous après une journée de randonnée ou de dégustation de vins. Accès facile au lac. Deux kayaks disponibles. Commodités: cuisine complète, buanderie et sécheuse, air et chauffage central, foyer, gril à gaz, 4 places de stationnement. Beaucoup de place pour le barbecue. Il y a un quai pour les bateaux. 3 chambres dont 2 avec vue lac. Lits queen dans les chambres 1 et 2. La chambre 3 dispose d'un canapé-lit queen-size. Il y a un autre canapé-lit queen-size dans la chambre ouverte toute l'année en Floride. Cour clôturée pour les hôtes canins formés à la maison. Les enfants accompagnés sont toujours les bienvenus.

A perfect getaway for our family and our one year old Bernese. We spent most of our time on the patio , the fire pit and floating in the lake. This house has the most comfortable beds, a kitchen that is equipped( we like to cook as a family). Our Bernese even had his own fenced in yard.We have booked a return visit.

The house was very clean when we arrived. the kitchen was very organized and well labeled. The view of the lake can't be beat!
I was able to dock my 18 ft deep V boat without any problems, although the dock is a bit shallow. Keep the motor trimmed up and it's fine.

This home had all that was advertised and then some. The house is very clean. It has a great view of the lake with easy access. The boat launch is less than 4 miles down the road with a dock on the property. There is plenty of parking and room for the boat trailer. Very lovely setting. I would defiantly stay there again.

We loved our stay at Margaret’s vacation getaway! It really was the perfect spot for our family. The house has plenty of space for a family but is also cozy and quiet for a couple. We had a little of both on our trip with our adult daughters and their families visiting during our stay. The location is superb with stunning views no matter the time of day! Our dogs were a handful at times, but Margaret was understanding and soooo supportive of our rescue mutts! We also discovered that one of the dogs LOVES the water! The property has multiple hang-out spots with comfortable chairs, tables and sun umbrellas. It wasn’t particularly hot while we were there, but the AC in the building worked really well when we needed it. The property has every appliance you could need and the kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms were well stocked. All in all, I don’t want to rave too much about our stay in case Margaret gets flooded with reservations and there’s no room for us to return next year!

Margaret was a phenomenal host. Any questions we had were answered very quickly.
The house was very clean, and had everything you needed to enjoy your stay. The beds were very comfortable. The showers had great water pressure. Most all of our time was spent on the backyard Patio and in the sun room, plenty of room for the four of us that were there and our dogs. You can easily fit 6 people.
We started our days off paddling around, using the provided kayaks, and finished it with a fire in the fire pit overlooking the lake.

This property was the perfect low key, dog friendly, lake vacation. It was our first time taking our dog on vacation and it was perfect. The home was fully equipped for all our needs. Easy access to the lake. We rented a pontoon boat and the dock was convenient. The owner was very attentive to all our needs. Will definitely stay again.

My youngest daugters graduation. Oldest daughters birthday
We had a very busy, hectic graduation/ birthday weekend with family meeting from different locations. It was a pleasant surprise upon our arrival, as the photos did not do justice to this very lovely home. We had to move my daughter from one place to another in the midst of alot of activity and the peaceful setting was very soothing. On the very last day, we got to enjoy the beautiful lake, swimming and kayaking. Margaret's home has absolutely every thoughtful comfort and essential, she is quietly nearby to help in any way and a pleasure to have as our host. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful, spacious property
We had a wonderful week at Margaret’s house. The house is beautiful, spacious and in a great location. We enjoyed the kayaks, playing cornhole, the fire pit and the amazing view. We rented a boat and appreciated having the dock for overnights.
Margaret was excellent with communication and we enjoyed meeting her and her dog.
The kitchen is well-stocked with cookware and dishes. There are plenty of games and Apple TV for entertainment. We loved State Bakery nearby, as well as Buttonwood & Thirsty Owl wineries.
Highly recommend a stay at this property!

Whomever said "There's no place like home" hasn't stayed at Margaret's lake house! She has thought of every amenity to make your stay a comfortable one for you and your pup. My dog mastered the doggie door and it was a revelation! Do not hesitate to book this amazing house. We enjoyed each day to the fullest. We cannot wait to return. Thank you again Margaret. : )

We had a fantastic time in Margaret’s beautiful home. Great for a family (or two). We also brought our two Labs, who loved long walks on the quiet road. Perfect location on the lake, spectacular views. Clean, super comfortable, and well stocked home. Near tons of outdoor activities and wineries. Margaret is also very responsive if you need anything. We’re hoping to go back someday soon!!

We all loved our lake vacation
Margaret was a wonderful host and the property was exactly as described. Our two older labs loved the lake and the easiness of accessing the house without many stairs. Very convenient to the wineries and the new smokehouse called "State" which has amazing food and pastries. We wished they were opened during our entire stay.

Wonderful family experience
The owner was very attentive and the home was very clean. It was a wonderful family trip. Both bathrooms were updated and layout was very nice even for my family of 8. I definitely look forward to booking the same place next year.
