Wonderful home right on the waterfront. We rented a pontoon boat Mon-Fri. from H2O sports.
I loved the family bedroom set up for each of our 3 children & their families. A very well stocked kitchen for cooking & large family table for meals. Swimming area was excellent for all age groups. The cove was excellent for kayaking & canoeing & just floating on rafts. Quiet neighborhood & very nice fire pit for roasting marshmallows. NICE set up for large family gathering.

Our stay at the newly renovated Douglas Lake home was fabulous! We needed a home with many beds, multiple bathrooms and fun things to do and this home did not disappoint. We were a group of 13 people from 2 families, ranging in age from 8 to 67 and we all had comfortable places to sleep, plenty of bathrooms so that no one needed to wait, ample table space to eat and visit, a fully loaded kitchen to prepare meals, a hot tub, firepit, grill, pool table, outdoor seating, an amazing view and so much more. It is located close to stores, hiking and offers family fun. Sherri and Donn are kind, friendly, available for questions and easy to work with. I highly recommend this memorable home and look forward to a time when we can go back and stay again.

This house could not have been more perfect for this group with four generations of family. Plenty to do and space to do it in. Beautiful even in the winter without the lake activities. Location was good as a get quiet away as well as easy access to nearby events. Thank you to Sherri and Donn for facilitating!

The house was amazing as well as the view of the lake. Very clean and easy check in. Very quite and private. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. Bedrooms were big and comfortable. Saw a bald eagle fly over while there twice. House had everything we needed. The outdoor patio was very nice.

Thank God when they say no pets it means no pets! My two children could breath and they are allergic to mold as well, so No mold either. The place was clean and full of amenities (including cling wrap). We are talking about making this a yearly spot! You'll love this place!!! Great for handicapped people as my husband uses his wheelchair most of the time and he didn't want to leave. Thank you for doing such a great job making our stay amazing!!!

I typically rent cabins near GSMNP for our family vacations, but this lake house was a hit with all my family members! My elderly Mom has mobility issues and she was able to enjoy all the outdoor activities vicariously through us. We stayed outside for the majority of our visit. The boat launch next to the property was so convenient! We loved that the walk to the lake wasn't too steep & we enjoyed the floating dock, swing, hammock, hot tub & firepit. This home has everything and we will be visiting again!

Two families
We had a great time at Hoss Cove! Big enough for everyone to have their own privacy, the outdoor deck and patio is where we spent most of our evenings, was perfect! We explored, swam and floated in rafts right off the dock, rented a pontoon boat for a portion of our stay, hiked, white water rafting, cooked out and relaxed....was a great time!

Wonderful home and view
We had a family of 8 adults and the home was a perfect fit. The amenities were plentiful and the view is breathtaking, especially the sunrises.
The one recommendation I had was stepping stones to the dock, which the owners are already planning.
The dock bumpers were a huge time saver for us because we didn't have to pull out all of ours and tie more than 1 or 2 up.
Do bring your own beach towels and safe drinkware for the lake, which we did.

This property was perfect for what we wanted. Quiet and secluded. Away from hustle and bustle.
The home was clean, well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Decorated tastefully. Outdoor amenities were great. Pool table grill, fire pit, dock. And view was amazing. We had a great time.

Stunning
Everything about this property is a WOW. The only thing that concerned me was the tight & curvy road to get there! Clean & cute. Very beautiful sunrise & sunset. Bring bug sprays. So family friendly! Tons of firewood. Hot tub was clean! House is just absolutely adorable.

Birthday and Spring Break VaCa
The house was very clean and as pictured. The fires in the surrounding areas did not hinder anything we wanted to do, and we didn't smell the fire either. We visited while the water levels at the lake was down, so we did not do any of the water activities( this was made clear before booking). Even with the water levels being down because of the timeframe we visited, the view on the lake was nice and we enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets on the lake. There was plenty of games and movies in the home to keep my littles occupied. I would suggest adding a TV in one of the other bedrooms other than the master. We explored Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge most of the days and the ride was about 30 to 40 minutes away. We also had a good time roasting marshmallows over the fire pit and the hot tub was LOVE!! Overall our stay was great and we plan to visit again in the summer when the water levels are higher so that we can fish, go swimming, and go jet skiing.

Excellent!
My family and I stayed here for a Christmas vacation. The house was perfect! Our group consisted of 8 adults and 3 kids and we all were very comfortable and had space. Additionally, the house is in a great location! Not only is it in a quiet spot but it is only 30 minutes away from Dollywood. Sherri was very responsive to any questions I had once we were in the house and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook various meals. Lastly, the house was beautiful with tons of updates. My family and I agreed that we would want to stay there again, it was a great place to stay!

Quiet, relaxing getaway
This was the perfect place for my family to stay during our extended weekend getaway! The listing was accurate but it was the small things that made our stay even better. The layout of the home was great, the view was wonderful, and the overall peaceful environment of the area made this one of the most relaxing vacations we've had. Perfect spot for a weekend getaway!
If you are looking for the perfect spot to unplug and unwind with friends and family, this is it. The property is conveniently located just outside the city and is only 10-15 minutes from downtown stores/grocery.
Beautifully decorated, the house has a cozy charm to it and does NOT lack on amenities. Everything you need to enjoy your stay is right there on the premises and has entertainment for all ages. The private dock makes it easy to get out on the water, whether you just want to swim in the cove or tie up a vessel. The boat ramp on site allows you to bring your own watercraft or there are two very close businesses to rent from if you don’t. We enjoyed having the backyard fire pit to gather around for conversation and the generously sized hot tub to soak and relax in. With fast WiFi and ample cell coverage, one can still stay connected with the outside world if needed (but I recommend you don’t!)
Sherri is a pleasure to work with and will respond to any questions or concerns almost instantly. I have stayed in multiple lake houses throughout Kentucky, Tennessee, and North Carolina and this is hands down the best one. Made some amazing memories Labor Day weekend of 2021; very grateful for Sherri and her husband to have shared their place with us.

Very roomy home for a family vacation
Home was very clean and well stocked bedrooms were all wonderful and plenty big enough loved the open feel from the kitchen to the dining room to the living room we could all be together while cooking and playing. Dock was very nice loved the hot tub and fire pit Would definitely recommend this property!

Wonderful property for family!
We loved the home as it was nicely decorated, spacious, clean, updated and in a great location……close to grocery, water sports rental and main highway. The property owner responded immediately to our email and text when when had questions. The lake setting is in a quiet cove. We will definitely consider renting this property again!

Great stay over the 4th of July week
We stayed a week at this house. Rented a boat from H2O watersports and docked it right at the house! When we weren’t relaxing on the lake, we made day trips to Smoky Mountain National Park, Dollywood, and Gatlinburg.

Great place for a group!
This was the perfect place for my college friends and I to spend the weekend together with our families! The back deck area is perfect for enjoying the gorgeous view and being outside, and we loved the open layout that let us all be together for all the cooking, eating, game playing, and movie nights. It was also wonderful and convenient to have a bathroom for each bedroom. The house was even more beautiful than the pictures and it was spotless! The hot tub and pool table were enjoyed everyday and the private dock was icing on the cake! Will definitely stay at this house again if we are in the area.

Absolutely Amazing place!!
This place was AMAZING!!! Way better than the pictures show and it was so clean! Everything we needed was already there except for the groceries. The beds are SO comfy, bathrooms are super spacious and there's PLENTY of sleeping, eating, relaxing room for 12. The hot tub was awesome and the location in the cove couldn't be more perfect. I will and do ABSOLUTELY recommend this property to any one looking for a vacation spot in or around Dandridge, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and Gatlinburg. So much to do on the lake or within a short drive. We will definitely be back!!

Little Slice of Paradise
This is a great find! Huge lawn to play outside, and access right to the water. The house was newer and cleaner than our typical VRBO stay. Had to communicate with the owner, and she responded very quickly and addressed the issues. Fantastic experience overall. The setup in the bedrooms is great too... easy to fit 4 kids in a room.

Wonderful off season visit
We visited in off season, Dandridge was nice and quiet. The house is beautiful, very clean and well maintained. The backyard was amazing, we spent most of our time enjoying the pool table and fire pit. The house is also very well stocked with all the necessities which we greatly appreciated! Wonderful stay at Hoss Cove - Perfect spot to stay in the Gatlinburg Area.
This was our second stay at Hoss Cove...my wife's brother and his family live nearby...and the second stay was even better than our first. The owners clearly care very much about this house and continue to polish a very nice home. The house is located directly on the lake with a great view and modern dock. The layout for the home maximizes the space and we fit 8 people comfortably in the 3 bedrooms and the large dining table was amply sized for our party plus additional relatives. The kitchen is fully updated and stocked well for cooking dinner for your group.
It is a short drive to Pigeon Forge, Galtinburg and Great Smoky Mountains Nationl Park...and you can take the beautiful back roads there and avoid the traffic.
We'll be back soon and highly recommend Hoss Cove to anyone visiting the area!

Christmas/new years
We stayed at this property for about 9 days! Pictures don’t do this lake house justice a lot bigger then what it looks! We got 4-5 inches of snow on Christmas they had a tree up for us! They have everything you need in a kitchen pots pans cookie sheets brought some just in case and didn’t need them they have big and little ones! We comfortably slept 12 people! Sherri response very quickly with any questions HIGHLY recommended can’t wait to book another vacation at this lake house in the summer!

Wonderful lake house
We really enjoyed this lake house. It is well taken care of and everything inside was very clean. The owners are attentive and very hospitable. We reported light over pool table was loose, no big deal as wind was blowing hard. They had maintenance there within hour to fix it. Very good customer service.

Amazing!
From the beginning Sherri was amazing and so accommodating. She went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for our family. Everything was perfect; from the moment we pulled in and saw two baby deer in the yard, to walking in the house and feeling how beautiful and cozy it was, and the private dock to swim and fish from. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need, location is peaceful and relaxing. Our family had the best time! Thank you so much.
