Cette oasis sur la rivière Guadalupe s'adresse aux familles et aux couples qui souhaitent profiter de la rivière dans un environnement tranquille et échapper à la foule tapageuse et aux cabines de fête.
Les clients de nos cabines ont la liberté de flâner dans les 6 parcs comme des hectares à l’ombre de chênes majestueux, de pacanes et de cyprès. Vous pouvez profiter d'une vue fantastique sur la rivière Guadalupe depuis les ponts de la cabine et les balançoires, faire une sieste dans un hamac ou jouer au tennis de jour ou de nuit sur notre court de tennis récemment refait surface et, bien sûr, passer du temps dans et sur la rivière!

Cute and clean and just what we needed to be close to our RV friends for the weekend! This was our second year here and Carlton is always a great host! The smores ingredients were a nice touch and very much appreciated!

This is our second time staying on Carlton & Laura's property. The cabin is very clean, and fully stocked. We have stayed at vacation properties that are completely bare. Paper towels, Kleenex, trash bags, dish soap, hand soap, are all provided. Even mosquito spray! The hosts think of everything. The property is secluded. Although there are other cabins on the property, you never feel "crowded." Two mornings we were the only people on the Guadalupe! I really cannot say enough good things- from a random request for string from my seven year old, to an impromptu photo shoot provided by Laura- the hosts go above and beyond to really make your vacation one to remember. I would not hesitate to recommend the cabin.

Relaxing weekend out of the hustle and bustle
This is an easy vacation and super relaxing - our kids enjoyed all of the open areas, tennis courts, and private areas on the river. Weekdays on the river allowed for us to have everything to ourselves. The owners were attentive to our needs and incredibly kind. We hope to go again with our broader families as renting out all houses on the property would be an incredible family time.

We did no cooking on site but there seemed to be pretty much anything you needed to make a river meal happen including a gas grill.

We had a phenomenal time at the property. The location is right on the Guadalupe river with easy access. Carlton and Laura run the property and are the most hospitable hosts one could hope to get, very friendly and care deeply about your experience. The cabin was clean and neat and has everything you need, just bring your food and drinks. Carlton even pumped up our inflatables and got the fire pit sorted for our kids each night, along with S'mores! We will definitely be back, you will not regret your time here.

Carlton and Laura run the property and are the most hospitable hosts one could hope to get, very friendly and care deeply about your experience. The cabin was clean and neat and has everything you need, just bring your food and drinks. Carlton even pumped up our inflatables and got the fire pit sorted for our kids each night, along with S'mores! We will definitely be back, you will not regret your time here.

This year we found these homes and are extremely happy we did. We stayed Fourth of July and Labor Day Weekend in two different homes. They have several homes to choose from on their land. We have NEVER had the quality of cleanliness and service from an owner as we did for our stays here. For both our stays they were just a phone call or text away. The location on the river is great and we never hang out on the river at the house we're at because we love floating, but we decided that two days we would just sit in the river and hang out and had the best time. The homes were clean and ready for us when we arrived and the owners were there to welcome us both times, even when we arrived late in the evening for Labor Day Weekend. We strongly recommend y'all check out these homes for couples, small families or large families splitting up in these houses. You're close to the neighboring house but not too close. These are the homes we will be renting from now on when we visit the Guadalupe as a family or just my wife and I!

Amazing experience at this little cabin on the river. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin is the perfect size for a family of 4. We were greeted at the gate by the owner, who lives on site in another cabin and always available and willing to ask if there's anything he can do for you. The cabin is well stocked with anything and everything you could need for a week by the river including good coffee for the adults and all the fixings for smores for the kids. Even the cookware and knifes are top notch, not like the usual rental cookery. The property is well maintained and affords easy access right down to prime river float spots. We didn't feel like renters, we felt like family and we will definitely be back again next year!

Amazing experience at this little cabin on the river. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin is the perfect size for a family of 4. We were greeted at the gate by the owner, who lives on site in another cabin and always available and willing to ask if there's anything he can do for you. The cabin is well stocked with anything and everything you could need for a week by the river including good coffee for the adults and all the fixings for smores for the kids. Even the cookware and knifes are top notch, not like the usual rental cookery. The property is well maintained and affords easy access right down to prime river float spots. We didn't feel like renters, we felt like family and we will definitely be back again next year!

Quiet getaway on the river
A great property with large shade trees, green grass, fire pits, hammocks and swings overlooking the river. The house was clean and tidy with all of the comforts of home. Carlton and Laura were gracious hosts and we can't wait to return with extended family to take advantage of this wonderful multi-home property.

We had so much fun staying here. The house was very clean and the well-stocked kitchen was so helpful. It was Labor Day weekend so it was nice to have a place away from the crowds. Laura and Carlton were so thoughtful and made sure we had everything we needed. They even put air in our floats and provided us with extra bottled water. The kids loved roasting the marshmallows left in the kitchen for us on the fire Carlton made every evening. We can't wait to come back!

Magical cabin
When we arrive there were beautiful fresh flowers on the kitchen table. The cabin was clean and cozy. The property manager and his wife were soooooo cute and welcoming. They inflated our floats and made sure that we had everything we needed.
They have a deer feeder and bird feeders full and within eye view of the back porch. It was magical to drink coffee and watch all the beautiful animals with the river in the background.
Would 100% recommend this property to anyone.

Guadalupe River vacation
Location, location...I wanted to show my wife Texas and the Guadalupe river experience that I enjoyed growing up. The Star Cabin was a perfect choice. The property has rapids and "shallows" to enjoy right off the bank! Whether you prefer sitting and relaxing or playing in the rapids, this location is ideal.
As far as the Owners, you couldn't hope for more. Such great people, making the extra effort to ensure we had everything we needed and sharing great stories of the river. Truly a fantastic experience all around. Would definitely return!

Best time at the Guadalupe River
Our family of 4 could not have had a better time while staying at the Texas Star Cabin. The cabin had everything we needed and is immaculately kept up. The location on the river is perfect with very easy access located on the property. Down by the river bed, the views of the limestone valley and clear blue green water are spectacular. The property is covered in mature trees offering tons of shade to relax in a hammock or play some corn hole on the beautiful property. We enjoyed taking walks, observing wildlife, birds, butterflies, and star gazing at night. Every night Carlton arranged the fire pit with fresh wood for us to enjoy and roast marshmallows. All the glowing reviews of Laura and Carlton are 100% deserved. They are amazing, gracious people who made us feel like family. We can’t wait to return!!

We’d rate this hidden gem as the BEST place to stay on the Guadalupe. Along with the fabulous location and easy river access, the house is everything a perfect cabin should be. The greatest feature are the owners, Carlton and Laura. You are treated like family from the moment you get there, they really exceed your expectations and make it a relaxing vacation. We can’t wait to go back!

Great Place, Great Owners, Great Experience
Our family (3) along with another family (3) booked 2-cabins on the property. from the time of booking, to showing up the service could not have been better. All our questions about accommodations, river access etc were answered quickly and accurately. Carlton and his wife Laura and excellent at communicating and welcoming us to the property, they entertained and talked with us multiple times per day and we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the, This is definitely a place for families or those looking to escape the city and relax. This is definitely not a party atmosphere and has a fun river vide to it. Safety and security were never a concern with the gated property. The access to the river to float or relax was simply easy. We will be back to this property for sure and cannot wait to go back. THANK YOU!
