This is a very nice property with everything you could possibly need. The linens are of excellent quality and there are plenty of spreads to cuddle up in and stave off the Oregon coast chill. It’s a quick walk to the beach and the location is such that we pretty much had the beach to ourselves. There’s a nice view of Ecola Creek and the ocean. Lois is a great host and is more than accommodating.

Three weeks with an ocean view was wonderful. The trek into town was just the perfect distance for a short walk and we did it often. Twice we had guests and the unit accommodated very well.

Although it wasn’t quite what we expected, Lois did her best to accommodate our family. She really aimed to please, but some things were outside her control (mainly loud construction next door). The rental was well stocked in every way. We appreciated using the beach cruisers. A little more drawer/closet space in a couple bedrooms would have been nice, though. The view wasn’t as pictured due to a new house built in front, but there is a small peekaboo view through one bedroom window and a family room window. Kitchen was a bit small for us and the noise above was a bit disappointing. The laundry is shared, so you must be strategic in timing of laundry loads. But the beds were very comfortable and the place was nicely decorated with high-quality furnishings. We likely won’t return just because we prefer places closer to the beach with an ocean view.

Beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bath. Gorgeous ocean view. Lovely hostess. We stay here every year and wouldn’t want to stay any where else!

Lois has a beautiful home and is a top notch hostess. The accommodations are wonderful and so is the proximity to beaches and restaurants. We couldn’t have had a better experience at the coast

The property is as shown. It was very clean and made a good impression. It was well stocked for most usage. There was no soap in any bathroom and the liquid hand soap had been so watered down that it was completely not useful for cleaning one’s hands. There was no product to clean tub and shower between usages and no way to clean kitchen sink. Also, a bowl brush for the toilet would have been useful. There is loads stored in the closets and no room for any hanging clothes in any of the closets. A major concern is the lack of lighting on the outside stairway when returning from dinner at night, very dangerous. The property is near the estuary of a creek and the sea so the distance to the ocean is quite far and difficult in the sand. The owner was away on our arrival but the cleaner was there. She was apologetic for not having completed the work; she did orient us and answered our questions. Later, a young man visited, introduced himself as a nephew and gave us a contact number for problems. We did have a question and called, left a message and never heard from him. The owner returned on the third day and knocked to introduce herself.

Lois and her home are both gems! The property and accommodations are wonderful. This home is clean, warm, inviting, and fully stocked to meet your every need. Everything is immaculate! Quality linens and towels, high-end toiletries and kitchen appliances. Our visit lasted ten days and was only short on one front... we wish we had the remaining 355 days in the year to stay!!! Thank you for sharing this home, the lovely ocean views, daily elk sightings, flocks of pelicans, and so on, and so on. Truly appreciate the hospitality and experience. Exceeded all expectations!

Everything was as described in the listing. Lois was one of the nicest ladies you’ll ever meet. The property was newly remodeled and very clean and well equipped. Can’t recommend it enough.

Lois is a wonderful hostess! Her special touches and kindnesses helped us enjoy our blustery Christmas in this lovely, clean home. It was well stocked, far beyond any vacation rental we have previously used. The split bedroom design was perfect for us with our adult children and grandchild. We took advantage of the ocean views and easy walk to the beach. Lois was remarkably accommodating to our needs. This rental is a gem.

The worst.

The accommodations were great including a well stocked kitchen. The place was clean and spacious. The garden was beautiful. Lois is friendly and very hospitable.

Place was super clean, and worked perfectly for our family. Plenty of blankets, and other items when we needed them. Lois was a wonderful host and had lots of great suggestions of places to check out. The kids really enjoyed their time in Cannon Beach as did we. We’ll definitely be back!

Lois, the property owner, was wonderful to work with and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Our place was beautiful both inside and out with all the beautiful flowers. The beds were extra comfortable. We appreciated coming back to our place at the end of each day of exploring and being able to relax and unwind on the patio. Would love to come again!

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting and a house that had all the comforts of home. Lois was so helpful and hospitable. We hope to visit again in the future.

A lovely home that’s well appointed and updated. You’re walking distance to the beach and town. The kitchen is small but you have everything you need. Premium bedding, linens and plenty of towels for everyone. We will stay here again.

Great place to stay at the north end giving easy access to the more “secluded” beach. Loved it with 6 people and two dogs. Landlord lives above unit and just the right amount of privacy and friendliness.

This is our second visit to Song of the Sea! Lois is the best host! Her property is comfortable, clean with everything you need! It’s a great place to bring friends and family for easy beach access, a quick walk to town for shopping and eating and a fun time!

Best stay you can have on the Oregon Coast. Lois has made her property inviting, accomodating and a special beach experience that no one should pass up. Her extra touches in the unit and her friendliness and her willingness to be availabe and provide what you may need that you didn't think about are all part of the package. Will my family stay again? Very nice. Close to everything in Cannon Beach. The owner was very courteous and helpful. Living space was a bit small for kids so would recommend 4 adults would be best.

Louis has done a great job of providing everything needed to relax for a few days! A wonderful place, with a very warm welcome including wine, and helpful recommendations on places to see & eat. We only had time to stay 3 night, but next time we'll stay a week!

Great space. More than roomy for a family of 4 including a 15 year old boy and 13 year old girl. Close to town to easily walk, easy walk to the beach.

Beautifully appointed, very clean, wonderful deck. Best thing is 3 full bathrooms which made it comfortable for friends sharing the space. Easy walk to restaurants & beach.

The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms excellent for 6 women. Loved the view and the chance to walk beach into town. Did not use car until we had to sadly say "good-by" to Cannon Beach adventure. Lois quick to respond to any questions.

The hostess is the absolute BEST and provided us with everything and more that we could ask for. My family and I have stayed there twice now and plan to return again. I give it FULL STARS.!! Lois was an amazing hostess and thought of every single detail. She was easy to communicate with and gave us lots of helpful tips that made our vacation perfect. The house is in a perfect location to see the ocean and beach from the deck. Easy short walk to beach and town. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Since COVID, this was our first outing, and we felt very safe. It was very clean, and the decor is lovely. We fixed most meals in, and the kitchen has everything you could want. The beach and town are just a short walk, but the home is in a quiet and relaxing setting. One of the best features was sitting on the large covered deck. We had our old springer with us, and Lois even had a solution to block the stairs on each end so she could be on deck with us and not being restrained. It was so cozy with the fire going and being comfortable on the reclining sofa that we felt at home. It was a wonderful getaway and very recommended. Thanks again, Lois.
