I was not able to check in as there was no check in information sent. I had to find new place on Airbnb
I was not able to check in as nobody was on the property, and I have not received the self check-in information. We arrived late, and the same thing happened with the next place we booked, so we missed meeting our friends for dinner as we spent all evening calling Vacasa (they don't even have a local Belize number; I had to make an international call to the US. The call lasted 40 minutes and the girl did not solve anything) trying to manage the situation. The booking application and email showed the booking as confirmed; however, after 40 minutes on the phone with Vacasa, they stated that the booking was canceled. We ended up booking something on Airbnb however also this property is managed by Vacasa, we did received check in information however there was no key in the locker. We managed to get in only because the lady heard us and woke up and came to let us in . The same thing happened in two other places and in another town! I seriously never want to book anything managed by Vacasa, but the bad thing is you don’t know it is them before you book.

Nice pool, reasonable priced room, walking distance to several stores (Naybayz was open late!) and restaurants (Queen bean, Ella's cool spot, and JJ's were amazing!), private cabana, clean facilities, gated community with parking outside. Small kitchenette with a toaster, fridge, microwave, old school hot plate (with pans available), and dishes. The concierge, Solomon, was super helpful and very responsive for organizing tours. He also helped us get into our room when we got confused as to which cabana we were staying in. We messaged through Whatsapp ahead of time to book scuba and snorkeling excursions. Here's his business Whatsapp! (+501 613-2092).
We got a 5 digit code for our lockbox to get the key for the cabana but the lockbox combination on our room was only 4 digits. We had trouble trying to contact the main vacasa line and they weren't as helpful since they're not part of the local team like Solomon. The room doesn't have A/C but we knew that prior to renting. There were 2 slower ceiling fans and a faster standing fan that helped a lot at night especially once the weather cooled off. The mesh bug screens on the Blue Marlin cabana were all intact. There was only an empty water jug in the room but it did have a reusable filter on top. We couldn't find the bikes for our rental and we did message vacasa to try to get them for our 2 day stay but the pool cleaning lady didn't come until our final day to put out the bikes. Other than that it was a decent place to stay with plenty of fun stuff to do in Hopkins!

Spacious and clean cabana on a quiet back street. Only 4 other cabanas in the complex. Hot water in shower, walkable to the main street, beach, and restaurants. Didn’t use the pool so I can’t comment. Photos somewhat accurate.
I was booked for 1 week, but had to leave after 2 days. First off, I didn’t realize there was no A/C. It was warmer inside the room than outside and it felt very uncomfortable. The (2) ceiling fans have only one speed and didn’t seem to help at all. No lights on the street to find the place. No tv in the room as stated in the description (this may be removed by now). WiFi not consistent/no strong connection, squeaky uncomfortable firm bed, not enough sufficient lighting inside the room at night, the couch was filthy, all tires on the bikes were flat. No surge protector/extension cord for electronics by bed (needed to unplug one of the lamps). Was given a 5 digit entry code but it was for 4 numbers. The signs on the cabanas are really small and hard to read, especially at night. The complex is completely gravel so keep that in mind for your luggage.
I received so many emails about this property before I arrived so I was hoping for a pleasant stay, but it’s a shame that is not what I got. This place has so much potential, but I spent way more money than anticipated moving to another accommodation. I hope this review is helpful and your experience is better than mine.

No breakfast was included which seems to be the standard in Belize. Coffee was good and it was a quiet, relaxing spot with a pool and bikes to use to get into town.
The host was not on site and a worker was there to help us in but we had to verify through Booking.com and we could not. We were finally able to get the keys through the Vacasa agency that seems to own the place. Very frustrating since it is very difficult to make calls from a US phone. Booking.com really let us down. It took over an hour with requests to use the app and when we downloaded it-Booking.com said too many people were on the account. I am the only person on the account. I had to pay again through Vacasa.

I liked the layout of the place, and how the grounds were for the money. but the heat in the early part of the day turned it into a sweat box; had to keep the fan pointed directly at you or you immediately break into a sweat. Also, the grounds keeper/host or whatever she is WAS NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL, at least in my experience. Had a super difficult time getting the key out of the lockbox at Purple Crown Fairy, and after several calls to Vacasa there was still nobody to fix the problem; me and my cab driver had to wrestle with it or we would not have gotten in the cabana. Workers bringing wood and things to make repairs and parked it right in front of my cabana noisy and all. As I said, the overall set up of the place is good and the rooms were pretty clean except for the bed smelled a bit weird. I slept on the couch the other nights. It was a poor experience for me and almost everyone who booked there had trouble finding their cabana not knowing where exactly to look…the names of the cabana should be in plain site at cabin entrance and not on a small sign nobody knows to look for. 🤷🏾♂️ I clarified w/two bookings myself and directed them. You guys can do better.

If not air, there has to be some other solution to that heat in the early part of the day. Also, the grounds keeper/host or whatever she is WAS NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL, at least in my experience. Quality of the cabana. The pool. The price.
Difficulty in opening some of the window slats. The ceiling fans didn't seem to do much, but the floor fan made up for it. The Internet in the blue marlin cabana.

I loved the privacy of the cabanas. There was plenty of room for us to comfortably move around and enjoy our accommodations. It was a close walk to the beach and the town amenities! I highly recommend Latitude Adjustment! The price was right!

Poor service if something needs to be taken care of, cant talk to anyone, thete lazy

Nice place with a nice and clean swimming pool. Kitchen has the most things you will need. To really make dinner the stofe is a but unpractical. You will need a lot of patience. Bathroom is good.
The bed wasn't comfortable. Really needs to be renewed (we stayed at the Blue Marlin house).

Location close to town. Individual cabana, very quiet. Pool.
No a/c. Vacasa sent way too many needless emails and notifications, but never mentioned there were bikes available. "Concierge" service never responded when i requested info on a shuttle transfer.

Didn’t like at all.
It’s not good property. No one take care. The toilet can’t flush , had told the manager but no one come and fix it. Internet 🛜 not working and the people organising the rooms are irresponsible. They gave multiple people the same room and didn’t fix it. We were lucky to come a bit early so we could get in before sunset.

We enjoyed the location, walking distance to the beach and many restaurants. The pool was also a highlight.
We booked 4 out of the 5 cabanas for 7 people total for 5 days. We read some poor reviews prior to booking, but still weren’t really prepared for how bad this experience was. These are small, run down cabanas with ancient beds, no air conditioning, screens that don’t cover the windows, and terrible guest service.
We had no hot water in all 5 cabanas for our entire stay. Management was largely unresponsive both during our stay, and while trying to sort out some type of refund later. In the end we were offered a pathetic $65 refund (for a $1200 booking) which doesn’t even begin to make up for lacking a major amenity.
For a small price increase we could have stayed just down the street instead, under much nicer accommodations. We also realized that Booking.com offers no protections for this kind of thing. I would not book through them OR with Vacasa again under any circumstances.

La localización, muy tranquilo.
No tenía aire acondicionado y había mucho calor. Estaba un poco sucio y descuidado.

The place was nice and clean. I love the cabana set up.
I never saw the 2 bottles of water

Cabanas are cute, compact with everything you need. The bathroom was very well done with excellent tile work and great use of space.
Also the bed was super squeaky. Like outrageously so. But it was very very comfy
There was no TV in the room. The room is so so so hot with no AC and fans that barely circulate air. Insufficient lighting so the room was so dark. No one meets you so you're on your own to figure things out. I arrived after 8 at night and didn't know what to do and it looked like no one else was at the property in the other Cabanas. Luckily I was able to call vacasa support where a representative state on the phone with me while I figured everything out.
The day before I left I encountered a couple who were just sitting down lost who were not given a code to enter their Cabana, and had no way of contacting the property because they didn't even have a wifi password.
I'm not sure what they would have done had I not come outside and let them use my phone and gave them the Wi-Fi password.
Also the bed was super squeaky. Like outrageously so. But it was very very comfy.

really great little bundle of apartments! lovely swimming pool and garden. the rooms are great, however had to put up a mosquito net as there were gaps in the window mesh. other than that it’s a great place to stay!

The swimming pool was refreshing.
Bicycles to use were great

Lovely little cabaa with everything you need. Well equipped kitchenette. Nice pool to cool off in and super porch to laze in the hammock on.
No real issues here, but lighting in cabana could have been a little better perhaps.
3.8
very quiet. the pool is refreshing. the cabanas are comfortable. however the floor was sticky and the screens were not all secure enough not to let bugs in. the location is a bit out of the way but that means it’s quiet and peaceful.
floors needed to be washed. sheets weren’t changed for a long term rental. it we didn’t ask either. we didn’t ask either. screens are not flat so bugs got in. my ankles show the result.

We had a lovely stay here. Would highly recommend!!
The cabana was clean and the staff very helpful. The cabana has everything you need and is super spacious!

concierge was a great help with airport transfer. Also appreciated the free use of bikes. only comment is we had maybe a day of filtered water for a 4 day stay and we’re told to buy more at store. other similar places stayed provided it for all days.
filtered water should be full enough for full stay

our stay at The Cabana was super.
Unfortunately, we had a small problem with the check-in
Our message with all the details was lost in cyberspace and we had to call a number in the USA to sort out the problem.
Apart from that, we had a very comfortable stay and I would recommend the Cabana if you are planning to stay in Hopkins
I don't like when there is not a host to welcome you @ the property. It was nice but very impersonal and anything can go wrong when you count on technology. Also, a local number to call would had been a lot cheaper
3.8
The lock was broke and I could not re-enter the rental to access my belongings. it took over 1 hour to contact the manager via Vacasa customer service. it took 3 hours for maintenance to show up to get me back in. I missed my families dance performance, the main celebration I was in Hopkins for. The manager offered me $27 for the inconvenience
3.8
The property is on a back road close to shops and beach.
There was no air con and in the three nights we stayed the cleaner did not clean the room.
3.8
Layout of the cabana was great. Bed was comfortable, WiFi was good
No hot water.

We stayed for 7 nights and loved our little house with shared pool very much (you share it with the other guests, so if you're lucky you even have it for yourself). They sent the check in information one day before we arrived, so everything worked just fine. The kitchen was VERY well equipped and even provided extra garbage bags, coffee poweder, salt and pepper. The next supermarket is in walking distance (7min) or you could take one of the 2 bikes which are standing between the blue and the yellow cabana. Every day/second day comes a woman who cleans the pool. If you run out of toilet paper or coffee powder just tell her, she will stock everything for you.
There's nothing really going on in this area of Hopkins, but still there are a few restaurants. The beach there is very dirty so it's not a swimming area - but we enjoyed the pool so much that it didn't bother us.
- I came here to work remotly and asked the company beforehand, if the wifi is good. They told me that the cabanas have high speed internet and that it's reliable. With the speedtest it turned out that it's only 6mbps though, but everything worked fine anyway (also Netflix). But then the wifi didn't work for a whole afternoon (from about 2pm till 9am) which was very annoying, since they told me it would be reliable.
- The communication is a bit slow and complicated because it's a bigger company and you always get an answer from another person (so if you have a problem you might have to explain it again and again)

Great concept of cabanas and a pool with great chill. The check-in is super easy with a lockbox. The pool is salty with a bit of chlorine, very warm and great to relax. The cabana is very well equipt with sturdy furniture and was very clean. All is as you see it on the pics, possibly a bit better. There are a few restaurants not far away on the way to the centre of the village. There are even a few bikes which the guests can share. At one point someone from Vacasa came to check whether everything is fine, so they oiled the bikes and pumped them up.
The window nets do not seal the edges of the window, so mosquitos can get inside. Yet we did not have many mosquitos inside at night. The Vacasa agency like to bombard you with emails to remind you to leave a reference. When you text them over booking with an inquiry about your place, they do not reply though.
The beaches nearby are actually pretty dirty (rubbish, no seaweed), so we found nicer beaches south of Hopkins.
