We have never come across such a wonderful host. Nothing is too much trouble. We had mistakenly booked the wrong room, but he had anticipated what we had done and already had another room arranged. Also saved the life of my phone by being able to produce a phone charger plug. Would recommend this hostal if you are looking for something different with a host for of local knowledge.

Antonio was a very kind and friendly host who had nothing but useful stuff to tell me about the local area. As a weary cyclist turning up late in the evening he could not have been more helpful, getting me settled and comfortable and pointing me in the direction of some local restaurants. The room was very clean and very well equipped, including ensuite. Overall exactly what I needed from my 2 days rest in Santander before my ferry home. - Antonio fue un placer conocerte y gracias por toda tu ayuda. ¡Te deseo todo lo mejor para tu próxima aventura ciclista!

The hostel is on the less busy and populated side of the rather steep hill that Santander sits on so you have to go up and over to get to where the action is but I understand that for my budget it really wasn't that far from the action. Perhaps it just felt extra steep and far because my legs were jelly from the cycling!

The host amazing, both Alejandro and wife lovely people helped as a lot and very supportive after a bad experience in Spain very clean parking very helpful very comfortable tv felt like home ♥️♥️

Antonio was very helpful and friendly.

We were a family of 6. No private toilet facilities available although a sign was placed on the bathroom to notify others that it was only for our room. No key and teenagers felt uncomfortable showering. Also no kitchen at all.

Excellent hosts, very comfortable bed

Sound isolation needs improvement. The hosts kindly asks every guest to be silent, I was very lucky but if someone else has loud neighbors..

The room was a bit basic and the walls were too thin and you could hear everything from the other rooms. The bathroom is practically in the room (the walls don't go all the way up to the ceiling). But given the price of the room, I think this is ok.

Jose Antonio was a wonderful host giving us lots of information on the local area and how to get around . He went above and beyond to help . He used his app translator to explain everything clearly . Such a lovely man ! Location was a 15 min walk into city and a 10 minute minute drive to the beaches and the mangledena .
