Glacier Riverside Lodge was the perfect place to stay. Close to the Park and to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. It is a beautiful setting. The back porch is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the morning or late afternoon. The kitchen is well equipped- there is even a cheese grater! The beds are comfortable and there is a large dining table for the whole family to sit around. There is plenty of parking spaces and the neighborhood is very quiet. We had a wonderful stay and would love to go back.

We were here for a wedding and this house was perfect to accommodate our family who came for the nuptials. The home is beautiful with amazing views and had everything we needed. Thank you!

We highly recommend Glacier Riverside Lodge. Our family of four was very comfortable there, and the location is perfect for visits to the park and nearby towns. The views from inside and outside of the house are breathtaking, and the hosts are easy to get ahold of and very accommodating.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Glacier Riverside Lodge. This home has a great location being only about 15 minutes to the West entrance of Glacier National Park where we enjoyed lots of hiking and sightseeing. Our favorite part of the home was sitting in the backyard in the evenings relaxing by the Flathead River.

After planning our GNP trip for over a year, we were anxious with every step. Lodging is a huge concern when involving a large group and 2 families. We could not have been more pleased with our stay in Hungry Horse. Cara was extremely accommodating with every detail considered and available for a extremely comfortable stay. I loved the king bed the best, the kitchen was very well stocked and made cooking for the group a breeze while using the grill and crockpot. The location and view were breathtaking. So convenient to all our road trips and GNP adventures- even provided bear spray- one less thing we had to deal with. Thanks for making our cherished memories. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location, quiet neighborhood, house is well stocked with everything you might need. The only negative was that the house is advertised to accommodate eight, but the dining inside and outside only serves six. Our group had eight.

The house had everything a person needs, regardless of age, and it was super clean. It was an easy location to treat as home base when visiting Glacier National Park. The back deck was so peaceful along the river, and we even spotted 3 eagles. I would definitely recommend this place!

This cabin was perfect for our GNP trip. It’s close to the West entrance and close to food and grocery options in Hungry Horse, but you still feel like you’re in a private cabin in the woods! The river views are beautiful and the cabin was clean and well-stocked. Highly recommend!

My family and I stayed here while visiting Glacier Park. Location was wonderful with a short 10 minute drive to the park, but just far away to be out of the busyness. The house was very clean, stocked well, and had a beautiful view of the river. The owners were in good communication, but we had no issues to report. I would definitely visit here again!

This was one of the best rentals we’ve had. Fully stocked, incredibly clean, and the pictures don’t do it justice. The views were incredible and there was plenty of room for our family of 6. Don’t think twice about booking! We’re already trying to plan our next visit!

The house worked well for my husband, daughter and granddaughter. My son and his family camped in Glacier, but came over for my birthday dinner on the deck overlooking the river. Very peaceful stay. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It is cozy with a nice view of the river. We used the deck every evening and grilled out with the propane grill provided. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking inside as well. We appreciated the supplied zip lock bags, spices, coffe, other cooking requirements, and bear spray. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The property is convenient to Glacier Park, nearby towns, and to the airport.

We came as two couples, one celebrating 6th wedding anniversary and one birthday during this trip. We came Friday to Friday and we packed our time with adventure. We ziplined, hiked twice, drove to St Mary’s entrance on east glacier since the sun road was out on west glacier side. We rode horses, went for massages and checked out some cool places to eat. The house was comfortable and spacious! Kitchen was stocked. We appreciated the coffee on hand, laundry and bath soaps! The river view was amazing and hungry horse was quiet but a great location to access many things! Highly recommend others to come to MT and to rent this house! Thanks so much!

Very nice, premium bedding, high-end appliances, and the kitchen is very well stocked with spices, and seasonings. If you don't want to deal with dishes, bring paper products. Grilling after a day of sight seeing is highly recommended.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the cabin with the gorgeous lazy river right outside the deck/backyard. Unfortunately, we didn't see any animals at the river or on the property beyond red squirrels and robins, but we found deer, bighorn sheep and mountain goats in Glacier National Park. The other houses on both sides of the property are very close, but there is a sense of privacy on the deck due to the trees shielding both sides. Unfortunately, we had a noisy group in the house to the right of us for one night (another rental?), playing music, loudly talking, and shooting fireworks. The highway is just down the street, close to be convenient but not obtrusive or loud. The town/neighborhood could use some sprucing up, but the locals were friendly. It should be noted that the train passes by the other side of the river several times day/night and sounds its horn - we liked it but others might find it disturbs their rest/sleep. The well-decorated house was comfortable and very clean but could have used more lighting in the living room, replacements for scratched pots/pans, and some light maintenance (dripping tub faucet and non-working outdoor lights), and some niceties like fluffier towels, a garbage disposal, and a railing for the driveway stairs. The heat, shower, WiFi and satellite TV worked fine, and the house cooled off in the evenings by opening the screen windows for a breeze. The laundry center was very appreciated, as we didn't have to pack as much on our trip. The property was just fifteen minutes from West Glacier, the western entrance to the Park and other hiking opportunities. Overall, we had a fun and relaxing time and recommend the Glacier Riverside Lodge in Hungry Horse to all.

Enjoyed our week at this house. Cara was very helpful with info and the house is well stocked. Back deck is great for quiet outdoor time over looking the Flathead river. Mostly fenced yard was great for dogs - only minor suggestion would be to fence in small portion that’s open. We really loved our time here and found it was very convenient to west side of Glacier and many restaurants.

We had the most amazing time in Glacier and this home was a perfect landing spot for our family of 5. The view of the river is magical to wake up to and the house was in perfect condition with all needed supplies. Cara was super responsive and kind in all our communications. The house is a short drive to the West entrance and the small town of Hungry Horse has all the small conveniences we needed. I will recommend this home to anyone I know traveling to Glacier! Nice riverside house. Close to the west entrance on GNP. Comfortable beds and cozy feeling in the house. The weather was in the 90’s so it got hot in the bedrooms at night. A fan would of been nice.
Overall we had a great time and would stay there again.

The property was beyond expectations. Everything was fresh and neat and clean, you could tell the owners took pride in it. Also loved the closeness to the park and the view of the lake. Cara was very easy to work with and even email me with some information about the park without my asking about it. Wish we could have had the time and money to stay for a week. Wonderful Stay
Our family of 8 had a wonderful stay. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, spices, coffee and cooking oil. The host went above and beyond with having the house stocked with toiletries, items for babies and children and even bear spray that we took on our remote hikes in Glacier. It was very clean and we would definitely stay again. Great location for entering Glacier National Park.

Flathead River Gem
I love this property which is on the Flathead River. So therapeutic and relaxing watching the flow of water. Hungry Horse is close to Glacier NP. The house had everything we needed. The bed/bedding was comfortable and the upstairs master was private and quiet. In a heartbeat, I would love to stay again!

Quiet/Hidden Gem Near West Glacier
We really enjoyed staying at this property for the last two days of our trip around Glacier National Park. This is a beautiful home in Hungry Horse, about 10 minutes from the West Glacier entrance to the park. It's in a nice, quiet neighborhood along the river.
Not only are you 10 minutes from West Glacier, but also within minutes of some great restaurants in Hungry Horse, and within 15 minutes of some great restaurants in Columbia Falls.
Cara was a great host and was very responsive/helpful to our questions. Would highly recommend staying here if you want to have some peace and quiet away from the main lodges near the park entrance. We will definitely be back again!

Lovely home, beautiful setting.
Great location with the gorgeous and up close view of Flathead River from the backyard. One day we saw deer frolicking on the other side of the river and, another day, we saw deer strolling in the front yard. Close proximity to Glacier National Park. Quiet and relaxing. Clean, comfortable, well appointed home. Loads of info about the surrounding area. It was a perfect place for our family vacation. We had everything we needed and more.

A Must Stay Place
A real gem. Could not ask for more. You are just down the road from Glacier National Park, the property is on a river of which you can view from every room, and on top of that a cozy kitchen and living room to sit and take it all in.

Beautiful riverside home close to Glacier National Park
We loved this home! 7 of us spent Christmas here, while 6 other family stayed in nearby second home. The house was large enough for us all to gather together during the day for visiting and meals. Very complete kitchen, cozy living room, and large windows and deck with a spectacular river view to enjoy eagles and otters. The neighborhood was quiet and so close to Glacier National Park. We took daytrips to the park to enjoy hiking and cross country skiing, along with local sledding hill. We will try to come back again next year!
