We had a great time at Mimi's. We had a couple minor issues that she took care of immediately. It happened to be on a Sunday so she came out herself and took care of them. She is very responsive. We have stayed at a lot of VRBOs And she is one of the best ones we have dealt with. This is her own property not just managed by a property manager which I feel like has made a big difference. There is everything you need it was a great stay.

Walking to the beach added a touch of luxury to mornings, making every sunrise and sunset magical. Beyond the canal, the village beckoned with culinary delights and entertainment. Evenings were marked by strolls to eateries igniting our senses. The village's spirit, blending warmth and camaraderie, turned outings into explorations of the island's heart. As daylight waned, ice cream parlors and cocktail spots thrived. Strolling to these destinations immersed us in the island's ambiance. Each ice cream scoop and cocktail became cherished memories woven into our Siesta Key experience. Special mention goes to Mimi, our exceptional host. Her hospitality set the tone. Bikes, kayaks, and amenities she provided reflected her commitment. Mimi's care elevated our journey, leaving an indelible mark. The canal surprised with dolphins and manatees gliding gracefully. This close encounter with gentle giants and playful creatures was a dream. In summary, our Siesta Key retreat balanced tranquility and convenience, an adventure.

What a beautiful property and location. My family loved all the amenities at the house and you can't beat the close proximity to the beach and the village. We will certainly look to return on our next trip to Siesta. Mimi is a wonderful host and had everything ready and prepared for our visit,

Mimi is such a gracious host. She really cares about her guests and was always available for any questions or needs. The home is so relaxing and inviting and the amenities are amazing ! We enjoyed kayaking in the canal behind the house and the beach is absolutely beautiful! We even were able to view manatees including a momma and baby manatee in the canal right in the backyard! My spouse and I stayed at Mimi's vacation rental the week of Memorial Day. The house is in an excellent spot, biking to the local restaurants, beach, and bars was great! We only ended up going to the beach 2 times because the house had everything we needed to relax. The neighborhood is very quiet and right around the corner from everything. Mimi is an excellent communicator and was very attentive to ours requests. The number 1 thing I can say is how accurate the listing is! From the pool, the canal in your backyard, the location, and the cleanliness of the home. One of the best vacation spots we've found yet! thanks again Mimi!

Overall I would rate this property a ten!! This year we decided to rent a home instead of a condo and couldn’t be more happy💓 The location of this property, the peacefulness, and everything Mimi supplies for her guests is unmatched! This house was perfect for 4 females. pool was great, we loved the kayaks, house had everything we needed. My only complaint was in the middle of the night our last night there, the owner text me at 2am asking if her son (and friends) could come check the place out. I found this very disturbing as we were all females and check out was 10am. As we woke and left the property, owners son was sitting in a vehicle out front - probably had been sitting there since 2am. We left the home at 3am for an early flight. Had this not happened, I would have definitely stayed here again. Knowing that there were young mid 20 year olds sitting outside, that could come in at any time was very unnerving and unprofessional.

We enjoyed all the amenities that Mimi provided and the rental was an easy walk to the beach. We normally biked into town as parking is an issue in town.

Property was very spacious inside and out. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub and also the kayak's and bikes. Very convenient location. We enjoyed walks to the beach and also Siesta Key Village. Property owner was very quick to answer any questions that came up during our stay. Hopefully we can visit again soon.

The vacation house, location and setting exceeded our expectations! We had to make a last minute choice and not sure how this house was not already taken; the location was great- just a short ride (bike, car, golf cart) down to the main beach but honestly the house and setting on the canal provided everything needed for a peaceful and memorable vacation. We had our adult kids and two of their friends with us and between the fishing on the canal, kayaks, and oh the pool:) and the man ping pong tournaments had we loved it! Mimi was very responsive and the house perfect for cooking up good meals and enjoying swimming late at night. Already wishing we were back. Thanks for the hospitality Mimi we hope to be back again!

This property was an amazing home to spend our family vacation. Mimi was very responsive upon checking us in and available for everything we needed throughout our stay. Typically when you go to the beach, the beach itself is the highlight, but in our case this home stole the show. Between the pool, hot tub, the ability to fish in the canal, kayaks, and games it was tough to even get my kids to leave the house to go to the beach. The home has everything you could possibly need for your stay in regards to kitchen supplies, beach gear, bikes, games, etc. Staying here allowed us to spend quality time together and focus on making family memories throughout our visit. My family could not have been happier with the house. Located on a few minutes walk from the beach, you could also walk to Sarasota Village. One really nice thing was the amount of equipment that was available. There were around 6 kayaks/canoes, and probably around 10 bicycles of varying sizes to choose from.

Our family had a great time at this house. We actually spent most of our time here enjoying the pool, and yard. The house has everything you need to relax at the house or to take a short stroll to the beach. I would 100% recommend staying here, it’s a short walk to the beach, and very close to the village. Mimi was extremely hospitable and we even got to meet her beautiful pup on check in!

Mimi’s house was absolutely perfect for our family beach vacation. It was clean and well appointed with everything we needed for the pool, beach, and preparing meals. It is conveniently located a short walk from Siesta Beach and a short walk to the Village. My daughter and I enjoyed quick morning bike rides for coffee and breakfast a couple of times, and the ice cream shops were a hit will all of the kids. Mimi was very responsive and took time to meet us at the house when we arrived to show us around. We felt welcomed from the moment we got there until we sadly had to leave to return home. I highly recommend staying here!

Mimi was a great host. She met us at the house to check in and showed us around the property. Mimi was very responsive during our stay to a couple of our requests. The location was perfect. We loved riding the bikes to the beach and into town. The kayaks were so nice to have and we used them every day. The house was spacious and had everything you could want. It was really nice to have the pool and hot tub. My favorite place to relax at the house was in the hammock with my book!

Siesta Key House was a great place for our family of 6. Grandkids enjoyed the pool as did the adults! 10 minute walk to the beach entrance was great also. Mimi met us on arrival and explained everything!

A great stay at an amazing property! You can tell when an owner really cares about their property and this is evident at this one. Very clean house that our entire family enjoyed to the max. The addition of having bicycles, beach goodies, toys for the kids, proximity to everything made our stay most enjoyable.

The house was very nice. Plenty of room. We were a block from the beach. Mimi was amazing. She met us at the house when we arrived and showed us everything. We would stay there again.

This is a great vacation home! We loved the private pool and dock and proximity to the beach and town. Mimi has the house fully stocked with all you need for your beach trip: coolers, toys, bikes, beach bags, wagons, etc. It was the perfect vacation place!
