Spacious, clean and comfortable. The hosts have prepared a pot of hot soup and bread for the guests. That is exactly what we need for a cold winter night. Very thoughtful hosts.

This place was absolutely stunning. Everything was very well done, even had some lovely soup and bread as a welome gift. Definitely the best stay of our whole NZ trip. Thank you so much, my family was extremely happy!!

Sehr komfortable und gepflegte Unterkunft. Nette Gastgeber. Zum Empfang stand eine Suppe bereit. Hochwertige Ausstattung mit Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine, Trockner, Kapselkaffeemaschine sowie Webergrill. Fantastischer Ausblick auf den Shotover River.
Außerhalb gelegen. Nur mit Auto gut zu erreichen. Wussten wir aber im Voraus. Ausstattung u Ausblick machen diesen Nachteil wett.

Loved everything from kitchen needs to bathrooms and bedrooms.
Very clean and spacious and find everything there. Also very easy to maintain. John (host) had prepared soup prior to our arrival and it was so delicious. The rooms and bed were comfy. My family just loves staying indoors because the house was so welcoming. The bathrooms has so many towels and that came really handy. Loved the location which was close to the shops and also just 15mins or less to get to inner city. Everything was just amazing. Best stay ever!

Breakfast wasn’t included with the accommodation but we didn’t expect it. Coffee and tea was provided.
The small pot of homemade soup warm and ready to eat when we arrived was a very pleasant surprise!

the property is clean and spacious and has a lovely homely feel. beds were super comfortable and the view of the river is amazing. the slow cooker of homemade soup left for us on our arrival was delicious and a really nice touch.
Also just far enough out of Queenstown to avoid the traffic and crowds.
only one thing and it was not the fault of the property. when you look out to the river there is lots of spare land ( very beautiful) however it seems that local motocross bikers find it perfect for revving up and down and round and round. this went on for two or three hours for a couple of the three nights we were there. such a shame as the beautiful view and tranquility were spoilt by lads who I guess we’re just having their sort of fun.

The place had beautiful furniture and a great view out the back. Also they lovely soup that was there on arrival.
We didn’t hire a car so would be better next time as it’s 15min of a walk to the shops.

Great communication with host - good instructions to locate the property which is in a business centre. Warm soup and fresh bread was a welcome gesture . The apartment was spotless and it was good to see a pantry stocked with the essentials. Plenty of shampoo and conditioner provided as well as washing powder. All these little things makes the stay so comfortable. Beautifully furnished .

Very comfortable and luxury apartment with fully equipped kitchen and the rest amenities. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Fantastic view from the living room and balcony.

Excellent communication, very helpful owners. Parking right in front of door. Private balcony with evening river and mountains views. Fully equipped.

The location was awful - driving into a commercial/ industrial area was very unappealing. We walked in the front door, looked at the tall narrow steps and decided it just wasn't worth it - we turned around and left and found someplace else to stay.

this is a great find, for anyone who is looking for a great location, close to amenities, but slightly away from the bustle of Queenstown central. Shotover Ridge had everything we needed, and had lovely personal touches to make this an exceptional stay.

Exactly like the pictures! John and Ann have run hotels in the past and it shows - so many little touches that we really appreciated.
The only thing that may impact some people is that the property isn't within walking distance of the main Queenstown attractions.
