it is a beautiful large apartment in a good location for Funchal centre. The large verandah was fantastic and we spend most early mornings and late evenings there. the beds were comfortable and the apartment was clean and well maintained.

the 3 bedrooms without air conditioning were warm at night but opening the windows made it noisy (dogs barking) and let in mosquitos. a portable air conditioning unit would be a good addition.

There was nothing not to like about this apartment we didn't want to leave!

Location was good and the host arranged for the keys to be delivered when we arrived after a delayed flight. Great apartment with modern styling. Amazing views from the balcony. Lots of space for two families.

There was a lot of wasted space in the apartment which could have been better used. This was not a problem in itself but I think the place could be much better with a few extra touches. There were limited cups and glasses for 8 people and we could have done with more really. Our main gripe was that the air conditioning wasn't working in the apartment. We were not told about this until we arrived and it meant the apartment was extremely hot, particularly at night. The master suite had it's own aircon so one couple were fine. Most nights some of the children had to sleep downstairs with the patio doors open as it was too hot in the bedrooms. This resulted in them getting bitten by insects. We eventually got some fans from the host midway through the holiday as they could not get the aircon repaired. This improved the situation but as we'd paid for an air conditioned apartment we asked for a partial refund several times but this was refused. The host said it was not advertised as fully air conditioned and as such he wouldn't refund any of our money. I think as the apartment was advertised as air conditioned and it was not working in the main apartment he should have conceeded that we didn't get what we'd paid for. A very poor show on his part. In addition the road where the apartment is accessed is regularly very noisy with people shouting early in the morning or continuously peeping horns and police being called to disturbances. There seems to be some sort of criminal activity taking place at the end of the road but we couldn't work out what it was. We've been to Madeira 6 times, usually in hotels it has to be said. For the money we spent on the apartment it was a shame that a few resolvable issues put a bit of a dampener on the stay. The pool is quite small but as I say we are used to staying in hotels.

There was no aircondition even it stood in description. We had to buy 2 Big fans to sleep in the Night. Not a good holiday.

The location allowed for great views however it was a 10 minute walk into town. We found various routes down and some were better than others. That really is the only thing that wasn't perfect about our stay and would not deter me from going back. This was our third trip to Madeira and we would certainly go back again. This accommodation was the best we've ever stayed in anywhere and we've stayed in a few over the years!. Bruno was also a perfect host; there was never any delays in correspondence and taxis were allocated for us. We were met on arrival at the property and show around inside and out - taken to the pool etc and a lunch of cheese and bread was provided :-) only sad thing about our stay was leaving.

Nothing, the accommodation is as beautiful as it looks on the website & Madeira is beautiful.

This is an amazing house with large rooms and ideal for up to 8 guests. The location is central and it was only a short walk to the harbour, buses, old town and cafes and restaurants. The house was very clean with very comfy beds and a huge balcony overlooking Funchal. A great place to relax We had a lovely holiday here.

One of the sinks was very slow to drain in the shared bathroom.

Location is about a 15 minute walk to the see front. Duplex appartment was very airy and the stay was very comfortable. There are 4 double bedrooms but we were only 4 so we were able to use the two en suite bedrooms.

Water pressure could have been better.

Location was great, 10 mins from centre, lovely views from terrace, spacious apartment had everything we needed, large supermarket nearby which was excellent.

This is a very spacious well appointed apartment with great views over Funchal. It has two dedicated parking spaces in a secure garage below the apartment accessible by lift (not mentioned in the description but useful to know). We had a very comfortable week here and will certainly consider it again for our next trip to Madeira.

The apartment could do with some more crockery and glasses. We were a party of four so it was okay for us but larger groups may find it a problem.

Bruno and Monica met us at the apartment and were very helpful. The apartment is awesome, as good if not better than the photos. Location 10 mins walk to La Vie/centre. €5 in taxi to get back. Just loved our time. 6 adults with room to spare so easy 8. Booked last minute after being let down by original booking couldn't have asked for more.

They only thing we didn't like was coming home. Apartment was everything we hoped for.

Beautifully presented and spacious apartment with panoramic view. Monica - lovely lady who welcomed us and looked after the cleaning of the apartment. Very helpful and friendly.

Apartment retains the heat despite air conditioning in the lounge area and master suite. However, it was a particularly humid time of the year so I’m sure this wouldn’t be an issue most of the time. Fridge - very difficult to open!

A sumptuous apartment, in a secure, gated complex. A 10 minute walk into central Funchal. Monica, the Housekeeper, was a wonderful host and presented the property in excellent condition.

The pool wasn’t in sight of the apartment, so children needed to always be accompanied.

Would be nice to have some small pots in a kitchen. Also swimming pool is not so close and not visible from apartment.

We enjoyed our stay at the property which is amazing and dressed with a fabulous combination of old and new. The Master Bedroom is fabulous and I would very much like to have a walk in wardrobe area at home!

The only thing I would say is the pool location from the house and the lack of sunbeds. I understand re the pool and current CV19 challenges but it would be good to have a sunlounger or two for use on the balcony and in the front garden for the afternoon sun. But we really enjoyed our stay.

It was perfect for us in every way. It is a beautiful, spacious apartment with wonderful views. The location is ideal, a reasonable distance uphill from town and marina and on public transport routes. Communication from the owner was good and Monica was a wonderful help in a number of ways. We would definitely book again.
