Katty was the sweetest woman and made me feel super safe and comfortable. She helped me find food in the local area when I arrived and then made me coffee in the morning. The kitchen is fully stocked as well - feels like home.

The dorm room didn’t feel the cleanest - I think there were cat paw marks on the upper bunk. I was on the bottom so it didn’t matter but just gave me less clean feels.

The place itself is adorable. Modest, filled with Katy's own art, and Katy herself is a gem - incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

Honestly, there isn't anything that bothered me about our stay.

Really nice room, shared kitchen with all the necessary. Nice bathrooms. Owner was very kind and nice, she helped us organising a last trip to try to see the volcan poas and other nice things guided by a friend of hers. She gave us plenty of advice and prepares good Costarican coffee for the guests in the morning. She also booked a taxi for us to the airport in the early morning!

Location is great for a stopover near the airport - there wasn’t many places to eat close by but we ordered on Uber eats instead. The owner is amazing - extremely welcoming, helpful, and even got up at 3:30AM to make sure we got our taxi to the airport.

Katty was so welcoming, so lovely and helpful. She organised our taxi to the airport the following morning and walked us out to say goodbye. The accommodation is very homely and secure, with everything you need. Really close to the airport (under 10 min drive) and is about 6 dollars. Definitely recommend!

Host greeted me at the door with the taxi, checked me in, gave a tour, made me tea, and scheduled a taxi for in the morning. Was a lovely end to a long day traveling. The morning she made us coffee and made sure we got a taxi okay. Would definitely stay there again :)

Parking was tough because it's a neighborhood and there wasn't a big sign.

Everything was fantastic! Katty was very accomodating and helped sort everything with our transfer to the airport. Great value

Katty, the host, was really kind and helpful. She gave us a lot of advices and tips of nice places in Costa Rica and the showed us a nice local bakery. In the morning you can see a lot of beautiful birds out of the terrace.

The owner was very kind and caring, I felt welcome instantly. Very clean place and kitchen had everything I needed and more. I slept very well. The owner arranged the taxi to the airport for 5$.

Katty was the best, she was so welcoming and even got up at night to make sure we get to the taxi at 3am which she called for us. Overall for the price the perfect place to stay after/ before your flight. Also the place was spotless clean.

Great location for airport travel with some great local restaurants close by. Safe and quiet area. Great hostel owner, Katty helps with everything including very fair taxi rides to the airport. would highly recommend for anyone coming to or from San Jose airport for a night. Just one more is make sure you have either dollars or cash but there is also an atm close by.

Slightly tricky to find in the dark but no major issues, just follow the air b and b signs on the wall.

The property was close to the airport in Alajuela which is much more pleasant place to stay than San Jose. The owner is very sweet and helpful. The place is cleaned regularly. It’s walking distance from the town where you can find all the places to eat and shops if you forgot something. There’s coffee in the morning or tea if you prefer.

It’s not obvious where it is so I got a little anxious that it wasn’t where google was showing but it is exactly there.

This was a great spot close to the airport. Katty was so helpful from the moment I arrived and gave me great recommendations for the area, as well as great company! I felt like I had a family member here, and you can't put a price on that while solo traveling.

Katty was absolutely amazing, so helpful and her place is perfect, especially if you want to go to the airport. 100% recommended.
