WAKE & LAKE Cottage - All Season

Au chalet WAKE & LAKE, vous êtes sur le lac Clam et à quelques minutes du lac Torch. Parcourez la chaîne de lacs en bateau et gardez votre bateau sur le quai pour votre séjour. Notre maison peut accueillir 6-7 personnes avec 2 chambres (1 lit queen, 1 complète, 1 double), un nouveau canapé-lit et 2 salles de bain. Le plan d'étage ouvert et les fenêtres permettent une vue de chaque pièce. Une vaste terrasse et un quai permanent offrent beaucoup d'espace pour bronzer et se prélasser! Faites griller un bon repas avec le barbecue au charbon.
Des bateaux à proximité sont disponibles (lancements de Butch's et Public Clam Lake). Le bateau peut accueillir jusqu'à 24 'de bateau à quelques pas de la maison.
Nous fournirons des draps, des serviettes et un kit de démarrage en papier. La cuisine est équipée avec des plats, des casseroles et des ustensiles. L'heure d'arrivée est 16h et le départ est généralement à 11h.
Attractions à proximité ... Marchez jusqu'à Dockside en 5 minutes pour prendre un verre, déjeuner ou dîner directement sur le lac Torch. Dégustez des boissons et de la nourriture à la célèbre brasserie Shorts en moins de 10 minutes.

We were a family of six and had plenty of room for everyone to have a bed. We had multiple decks to lounge on, eat together. sit around the fire pit. All the places for boats or jet skis if we rented. Inside, we had a huge table to eat and play card games. There were two sitting areas and a nice sized TV. The kitchen had everything we needed. The washer and dryer worked great. The location is great. We were walking or boating distance to a restaurant, across the river from the boat gas station, We used the chain of lakes to explore up to Bellaire lake on the boat as well as Torch Lake and the sandbar there. We were a short drive to Shanty Creek to golf and eat, plus Short's brewery. The beds were also comfy. They provided an extra twin mattress that one of our kids slept on, plus a pull out couch in the living room if needed. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Very well kept cottage, location is perfect. We brought our own pontoon boat and were able to visit 3 different lakes without taking the boat out of the water. Highly recommend if you love the lake and boating. The deck is gorgeous and we lived the fire pit down by the lake. Check in & out went very smoothly. Will be back for sure.

It was a perfect family getaway. The lake house is very well kept, upgraded kitchen and fully stocked. I loved getting up in the morning and enjoying my coffee while I looked about that the lake. So relaxing! So beautiful!

Wonderful location to enjoy such a beatiful area. Wake and Lake had all the needed amenities, was very clean, and responsive communication. We had such a great trip we are sure to book again in the future.

Wonderful lake house! One of the best! Full access to lake.Classic morning and evening sunsets.Cozy fireplace. We also enjoyed hiking in several Natural Areas located nearby.

Although we went north for spring break (our mistake), we didn’t miss out on views during the snowstorm. We were not able to hike as planned. We went to Short’s for carry out and hung at the house and it’s the perfect setup for a family. Great sitting areas. Kitchen was perfect for two moms. Very clean house. We will stay again.

This was the perfect location for our girls weekend! Plenty of space to visit, and we all loved the view of the lake. The gas fireplace was one of my favorite things about the cottage also, so warm and welcoming, especially for a snowy weekend.

Myself and 3 girlfriends stayed at this fantastic home on Clam River. The home had everything we needed, the views were amazing, the accommodations comfortable, our hosts were great to work with and we came home refreshed and filled with lots of great memories. This is a great location for day tripping. We hit Bellaire, TC, Alden, Leland, Lake Leelanau and Northport. After a day of shopping and a little "tasting" returning home to a fire in the fireplace and our jim-jams made for a great evening of laughter and storytelling. Every woman should treat themselves to a trip like this and choosing this home would be a bonus!

Our stay here was very comfortable. The view is fantastic in the house has all the amenities that you went away from home. Kitchen was super well stocked and the beds were comfy.

Wake & Lake lived up to all of our expectations. The layout of the house was perfect for two couples and came with everything you could want. The proximity to Dockside, Short’s Brew Pub and Torch Lake was convenient.
We enjoyed the hiking trails in the area, kayaking on Clam Lake and pontoon boating on Torch Lake. Looking forward to returning next year!

We brought our wake surfing boat and parked her right up to the docks. Surfed Torch Lake and Clam Lake. House was great. Well stock with appliances and Kitchen needs. Beds are nice, extra blankets and pillows. Had 6 people easily. Boat trailer parking is less than a mile away. Nice size deck with a view is awesome. Overall stay was a win for sure. Definitely had the family cabin feel. Hope this place will be available when I want to stay around Torch again.

Awesome Family Vacation Spot!

Loved it!
The house is in the perfect location…walking distance to Dockside, only 3 miles from Torch Lake Cellars, and right across the lake from the marina. The view is gorgeous and the house came stocked with anything you would need. My friends and I enjoyed our time there.

Great house!
We had a lovely stay, it was quick but the house was perfect for us. It was clean and stocked with everything we needed. We did have an issue with the driveway, it’s very steep so if you are planning on a winter time visit that’s something to plan ahead for. We would come back again! Thanks!

Beautiful place
Stayed in the fall with cool weather. So, we were unable to take advantage of the enormous beautiful deck. However, the entire lakeside of the home is windows and glass doors. The views couldn't be better. Gorgeous place with very comfortable beds. Huge kitchen with the nicest appliances I've ever seen in a rental. We will definitely be back!

Nice getaway
Comfortable, quiet, and relaxing in October. View of River from every window/door. Large tables inside and out, with lots of seating. Beds very comfortable. Bedrooms/bath on opposite ends of house, nice for privacy. Indoor fireplace not in working order yet. Will definitely rent again when fireplace fixed. Only negatives for me on arrival; was oven not in working order as door would not close all the way and oven light remained consistently on (would of been nice to know ahead of time, when told owners they said new one on the way), floor seemed sticky but clean-wore slippers, and no Keurig (my preference) but have drip coffee machine with coffee included.

October Visit
Beautiful house and setting. Views of the lake and surrounding hills were fantastic. House is very clean and comfortable. Hard to believe how quiet it is in the morning. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect Getaway ~ Clamelot!
My cousin and her husband celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary here. What the perfect place to do so! This lake home is beautiful with multiple decks and a view of Clam Lake that is unbelievable! The kitchen is well-stocked with anything you need. Since we had weather in the 70's for our fall week getaway, we rented a pontoon boat from Butch's Marina and drove around Clam Lake, through the Grass River to Bellaire Lake and then back through to get to Torch Lake. This lake home is very close to where you can enter Torch Lake that has pristine turquoise water and has been compared to the Caribbean waters. We recommend a visit to Torch Lake Cellars where you can enjoy a flight of wines on their patio and try to hit golf balls 139 yards into a barrel to win a free bottle.

Great view
We really enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of room to spread out. The house is warm and inviting. The view from the many windows in the house is spectacular. Beautiful lake! The location is right between Traverse City and Charlevoix which is really convenient. The hosts were quick to respond when we had a question about one of the appliances. I highly recommend this lovely place. We hope to stay here again some day.

Great times at the Wake & Lake
We had a wonderful time at this property & it’s oh so close to other towns to check out! The views & deck are fantastic, we liked the option of a grill and smoker, the gates on the deck were a welcomed addition & we enjoyed the bonfire area. We brought our pontoon and the dock was perfect for us to tie it to. Since our trailer is a bit bigger, we had to park it across the street (vs in the driveway). We’re definitely looking forward to booking again & appreciate the quick responses from the owners!

Perfect Location
This house had everything we needed. We brought our 20 ft wake boat and the dock worked perfectly. We were grateful to be on the calm waters of Clam lake when the wind kicked up on Torch lake. We enjoyed Bellaire and highly recommend Shorts; so much so that we went there twice in 5 days. We had 3 kids ranging from 17-12 and they had a great time, I would highly recommend this house.

Beautiful Wake And Lake
We loved our stay at Wake and Lake! The view is amazing. Super clean. It had everything we needed. It felt safe with our baby granddaughter with gates on the deck.

Our stay at Wake and Lake was wonderful. The home is spotless! the kitchen had everything we needed except our food. Very comfortable beds. The view is fantastic. We loved sitting on the deck next to the river. We have a daughter with special needs and felt very safe with her there. Gates at each end of the deck. My husband enjoyed fishing from the dock. We had a bonfire every night. We are going there for our next get away.

Dock disappointment
The house was well appointed and in a great location , this is a nice property. We rented this house for the boat dock but was unable to use given the extreme shallow water depth. We were unable to use the recommended boat ramp as the water was too shallow. The dock is not gel coat friendly , this is pontoon slip for sure.
