Ceci est une cabane charmante et confortable à Bass Lake qui est quelque peu isolée sur une petite colline surplombant le lac. Il y a une chambre principale et salle de bain complète avec un lit California King et une télévision. La deuxième chambre est petite, avec un lit superposé double en haut et en bas en bas. Cette chambre a sa propre salle de bain avec douche, WC et lavabo. Le salon a un canapé-lit Ikea queen (confortable!) et une grande télévision avec lecteur DVD / magnétoscope. La cuisine moderne a un coin qui se trouve 4-6. Il y a une bibliothèque / salon adjacent avec une plus grande table qui peut être utilisée pour manger, jouer à des jeux, des puzzles, de l'artisanat, travailler sur votre ordinateur portable, etc.
Il y a un bain à remous sur le pont qui surplombe le lac. Le bain à remous est particulièrement merveilleux la nuit quand tout est calme et les étoiles brillantes. Il y a une table de patio (avec parasol) qui est l'endroit idéal pour manger tous les repas, jouer, se détendre avec un verre de vin, etc. Vous passerez certainement beaucoup de temps sur le pont surplombant la colline et le lac. Sur le côté de la maison se trouve une cour fermée avec un patio en béton et un panier de basket. Les enfants adorent jouer dans cette zone latérale (bien que les jeunes enfants doivent toujours être surveillés)
Il se trouve à 5 minutes à pied du lac. La zone de la plage des chutes est à moins d'un mile sur la route. Dans l'autre sens, il y a de nombreuses plages publiques à distance de marche ou à quelques minutes en voiture ... choisissez simplement celle qui correspond à votre envie. Si vous avez de jeunes enfants, les plages les plus proches de notre chalet ont beaucoup de zones peu profondes qui sont parfaites pour que les enfants puissent jouer en toute sécurité. L'eau est une excellente température pour la baignade pendant l'été. Le village de pins est à 2 miles sur la route. Vous y trouverez l'épicerie The Pines, une station-service, quelques restaurants et magasins à parcourir. Il y a des bateaux et d'autres locations disponibles des deux côtés du lac ainsi que quelques endroits incroyables pour des hamburgers, des sandwichs et des glaces (Millers Landing et The Forks).

La ville d'Oakhurst est à seulement 13 km et possède une grande variété de restaurants, cinémas, épiceries, bowling, etc. Il y a aussi du bon golf, de la randonnée et de la pêche à proximité. Et bien sûr, Yosemite est juste sur la route! Il est à 20 minutes en voiture de l'entrée sud de Yosemite (et du Mariposa Grove), puis encore 40 minutes dans la vallée de Yosemite. Les excursions d'une journée à Yosemite sont très faciles à faire ... puis revenez vous baigner dans le bain à remous la nuit!
Cette cabine est une retraite parfaite pour les couples qui veulent une escapade tranquille. Les familles l'adorent aussi!
En hiver, le niveau du lac est assez bas. Il y a de la neige plusieurs fois par an mais pas régulièrement. Il y a généralement de la neige juste en haut de la route en direction de Yosemite, et il y a quelques aires de jeux de neige avant d'arriver aux portes de Yosemite, près de Fish Camp. Il y a du ski et de la planche à neige et de la raquette au col Badger à l'intérieur de Yosemite; c'est une grande station de jeux de neige en famille.

The house was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens). The view from the deck was great and the hot tub was nice to come home to after a long day of hiking. Nice and close to the entrance of Yosemite. Had enough kitchen supplies to make meals and it was nice to have a grill which we used a couple nights to make dinner. We enjoyed our stay here.

The house was neat and tidy, a bit outdated. The master bed was a bit too soft and the living room furniture wasn’t comfortable at all. The cous was old and cushions weren’t comfortable to sit in. The two chairs were fine but not in locations making it easy to watch tv or communicate with anyone in the kitchen.
The hot tub was great but water level was low so we had to fill it. No shower supplies provided, so bring your own. Otherwise, all the other amenities were decent and it was an easy location.

Perfect getaway for small family. Close to mariposa/Yosemite, could see the snow from the mountains when we used the hot tub, and the home was spacious and accommodating for myself, spouse, 2 kids and small dog. It was clean and the owners are responsive. The place was clean and the wood stove was pretty and kept us quite warm. This was my second time going and I would go again.

We just wanted a little weekend away from home to relax and this was the perfect property. The home is highly organized and has everything you need for a relaxing weekend. We loved the wood stove and hot tub especially but the entire home was very comfortable. I appreciated messages from the property owner leading up to the stay. We would definitely stay here again. We enjoyed spending the 4th of July weekend with our family in Bass Lake. The beds were comfortable and the house was just the right size for 5 of us (4 adults and one child). The view from the deck was amazing and better than we expected from the pictures in the listing. A few hiccups that interrupted our stay (like a power outage and hot tub) but all-in-all, we were comfortable, close to the lake, and had that amazing view when we returned home after a day at the lake.

My husband, small doggie and I stayed 4 days/nights at this perfect cabin with a view of the lake. The communication with the owner from the time we booked our trip to the day we left far exceeded our expectations. That goes for the cabin itself as well. The place was super clean, stocked, wonderful side yard for dog to run and play, as well as a beautiful view of the lake that we were not expecting. The spa on the deck was the perfect temperature as soon as we arrived. The master bed was the most comfiest bed we've had out of all our VRBO stays. The location was perfect distance to Oakhurst as well as Bass Lake but still secluded enough to feel like neighbors were miles away. We truly enjoyed our trip to Bass Lake and the cabin was our home away from home. Thank you so much Wendy. Next time we visit Bass Lake, we will be sure to come stay again!

My friends and I recently stayed at this lovely cabin and we couldn't have been happier with our experience! The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making sure that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was a definite highlight - we loved being able to relax and unwind after a long day of hiking in Yosemite, which was an easy drive away. The location was absolutely perfect for us, with stunning views of the lake and plenty of nearby attractions to explore. We can't recommend this VRBO enough and we can't wait to come back again soon!

We had an excellent time escaping the holiday hustle and bustle and enjoying our time together as a family. Our host was extremely responsive to messages. The cabin had some Christmas decorations so Santa was sure to find us!
The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the wood stove fire place kept us toasty warm.
There are plenty of books, puzzles and games to keep everyone occupied. The walk to the lake is an easy hike down the main road to the lake trail. When we got back the hot tub was a welcome place to relax and unwind. The kitchen is well appointed with appliances, utensils and dishes. I especially enjoyed my morning coffee out on the deck overlooking the lake. We enjoyed this winter getaway! Hopefully we will be back in the summer next year.

The directions were spot on the house is beautiful and the lake view from the deck was amazing. We explored Bass lake but mostly hung out in the hot tub the bbq was excellent it was nice to bbq and the weather was perfect. The rooms are cozy and the beds comfortable the variety of games came in handy for the child. I think my favorite was sitting in the breakfast nook no electronics and enjoying good food and great company we will definitely stay again

We arrived to a lockbox that fell open without a code, sliding door opened freely, it was not secured or locked, a few windows were not locked and others easily opened when locked. The a/c wall unit is not efficient for summer days. We were instructed to run 2 fans and leave all shades & blackout curtains closed during the day so we weren’t able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the view of the lake even with these requirements being met the cabin was very uncomfortably warm. You have to make your beds and your asked to wash the linens and towels before you leave. The cabin is very cute and would be a lovely place for a small family in the cool months of the year, there are plenty of heaters & a wood burning stove. The property manager replied quickly to our concerns but was unable to do anything about the things we weren’t happy with.

Beautiful cabin with a stunning view of the lake. The hot tub is an absolute bonus (!) and such a relaxing way to end a day on the lake or hiking! Loved it. Super close to Bass Lake, which was so convenient, including just a 10 min drive to a beautiful hiking spot and not very far from town/grocery store/restaurants.
We enjoyed the cleanliness of the home and the host was very communicative and responsive, which was great. Check in process is a little odd, as the lockbox is way down by the ground and you have to pretty much get on your hands and knees to unlock it. Not great and a little bit of a strange location for a lock box. It was also a bit inconvenient to have to make up your own beds, as sheets are not on the beds upon arrival. It was fine; just not what I’m used to when renting a vacation home.
A caution to anyone with back problems - the master bedroom bed is EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE. The sides of the mattress slope down from the center and the foam cushion they put on the top only makes it worse. It was very difficult to get a good night’s sleep with my back in pain. In addition, our daughter slept on the couch pullout 2 nights in a row and her back hurt badly in the morning. She doesn’t have any preexisting back problems like I do, but she’s still in quite a bit of pain. It didn’t ruin the trip, still had a lovely time, but due to my back issues, it probably would keep me from renting here again. I’m sure it’s nothing that some new mattresses couldn’t fix.
The living room TV wasn’t very easy to use and probably would help to have a smart TV in there so people can enjoy their own shows or movies with apps. You have to hook up the HDMI cable to your own laptop, and even when I tried that, I couldn’t get it to work, so I gave up. The master bedroom TV was easier to use and watch Netflix/screen cast from my phone, but is very small. Again, nothing that even remotely ruined our trip or our stay, just minor inconveniences that I haven’t experienced at other houses/cabins.
The only other issue is that there is a sign to remove your shoes, which we did. However, when my husband walked into the kids room (bunk bed room), there were carpet tacks sticking up in the floor between the living room and bedroom, and he stepped on them with his bare feet, so that may be something for the handyman to fix ASAP.
Overall, though, very enjoyable stay and lovely little home that made our weekend getaway cozy and fun. Thank you!

Our stay was very nice. There were some glitches or communication errors with the cleaning crew prior to arrival but the owner Wendy was wonderful in getting in touch immediately and fixing the issues. We were able to travel easily to Yosemite and were very.close to the lake so back and forth (by car) was quick and easy as well. There is so much to do we had a blast. The house had a nice jacuzzi and felt spacious enough for the 4 of us. For a simple, conveniently located place with all amenities you need, tucked away from busy roads but still close, I would recommend.
