We loved our stay at this property on the south end of Chatham. The house was perfect for our party of two families. We were close to everything and the house and views were just what we needed. Thank you for an incredible vacation!

Very nice house for the cape. Short walk to the beach. Relaxing stay for the kids and parents. Chatham is a beautiful area. It’s close to some great ice cream and nice restaurants. All you can really ask for.

This home was perfect for family of 8 and 2 babies. Every couple had a bedroom and babies shared a room. Large kitchen had everything you’d need. A freezer in addition to a refrigerator was a big help. Each of the 3 levels had their own deck , one with fire pit, Second with hot tub and third with patio table and grill. Owners respond immediately to any questions. I would advise people with mobility issues to think about this home because there are 2 staircases and the top level was the kitchen and living area so you needed to be able to climb the stairs. It was a challenge keeping the babies away from the stairs and I’d recommend gates to be added if possible . The beach was very close and perfect for people to go back and forth on their own schedules. Again, it has a steep hill and uneven path , so mobility is a must. Overall we loved this home and hope to come back again!

Robert’s and Laurie’s home on Forest Beach was the perfect fit for our multi-generational family. The pictures accurately depict the house—in fact, the kitchen and living room feel even larger than suggested by the photos. The three decks were magnificent features. We regularly used the outdoor spaces for dining, lounging, and relaxing by the fire pit in the evening. The ocean is visible from the upper deck, and the sounds of the waves and ocean breeze are perceptible throughout. Forest Beach is a short walk, close enough that it’s not a schlep to go back and forth. Don’t bother packing beach chairs because the house comes with plenty.

Our family really enjoyed staying at this house. This house has a gourmet kitchen with anything and everything you might want. 4 nice bedroom and 1 walk through bedroom. The AC worked only on one side of the house, but with doors open and fans, the house stayed nice and cool. Beautiful private backyard provides a lot of shade. The private beach is not a direct access, but only few steps away. The outdoor shower is amazing. All 9 of us loved it. The house is about 10 minutes drive from Main Street in a Chatham. As always, we’ve had our dog on this trip. Every morning we took a walk through neighborhood.. It was delightful.

We had a great time on the Cape! The house was beautiful and in a great part of Chatham. We had plenty of space for the 7 adults and 2 children. The house is well stocked and really has everything you need to have a great vacation. The beach is a 2 min walk away and very private (the ocean is a bit rocky and some seaweed), but it was still warm and nice enough to go swimming. Laurie and Robert were extremely responsive and did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Hope to go back next year!

Our family enjoyed our stay in August. The house was well maintained and clean. The kitchen was equipped with anything you'll need - more than I've ever seen in other rentals. Location is a short drive into Chatham center. Look forward to returning next year!

My family of 7 and I spent a fantastic week here. Everything you could ask for in a vacation house. A two minute walk to the beach, extremely clean, maintained very well. We really were able to enjoy a much needed break from reality for a week. Highly recommended. Thank you

My family had a wonderful stay in this home. It is spacious and breezy just a short distance from Nantucket Sound. The three floors with outdoor spaces on each level allowed the grandparents, kids and parents to spread out and enjoy the breeze in sun or shade. The master bath is heavenly, fire pit and large open kitchen made prepping meals a snap. The linen service includes 10 beach towels and the owners provide about 10 beach chairs, umbrellas and a cooler. So you can leave those at home! Not included in the description is a whole house sound system that is easy to use and enhances the stay. Due to COVID19 the hot tub was unavailable (state rules, not the owners) and check in.out was late and really early (8:30 sat). But the home was clean and safe. Communication with the owner was quick and pleasant, especially in the midst of uncertain travel conditions. Our family would love to stay here again! Thank you for sharing the home.

This was the perfect place to kick off our summer. The house and neighborhood all had a very peaceful feel. The house was spotless and could accommodate two families - including four teenagers - quite comfortably. The bedrooms are all good sized and comfortable. The large living space was perfectly suited for gathering and playing games, and the balconies were our favorite places in the mornings and evenings to enjoy the ocean breeze. The location is fantastic. There are several small beaches within walking distance or a short drive. Provincetown is less than an hour's drive and the pristine beaches of the National Seashore are all along the way. The owners were very responsive and took extra precautions with respect to COVID. We felt completely safe and welcome. Highly recommend.

This beautiful house is exactly as advertised. A grand open floor plan with partial views of the ocean. Everything is modern and renovated with loving detail. From the beautiful deck, the hot tub and fire pit there was something for everyone. We added the linen rental and were very happy with the quality and convenience.

We stayed in Laurie and Bob’s house for a week long family vacation and loved every minute. The house is very well equipped and is in a great location. We loved the outdoor space and the neighborhood beach.

This home was perfect for our family of 9 during our week stay in Chatham. The ocean view was much better than what we anticipated. The neighborhood beach was a favorite spot to sit and relax and my grandchildren loved the water! The third floor living space was very open and bright and was a great spot for us to spend time together at the end of the day. The fire pit and hot tub were also very much enjoyed. Bob and Laurie responded quickly to our messages during our stay and were great hosts. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return someday.

Our family of six stayed in Bob and Laurie's beautiful beach home. It is a terrific location. You can walk to a small beach around the corner from their house or ride your bike to Red River Beach in Harwich Port. This beach is much bigger and very clean. There are also a few restaurants within walking distance. My family has stayed in Chatham the last three years! Chatham is located in the middle of the Cape and you have great access to any of the towns around you for beaches or restaurants! We love it and definitely will return to Bob and Laurie's house.

Very nice large home perfect for us, our kids and grandkids. Beach is a short walk away and grandkids (age 5,3 and 2) loved it. Pictures are very accurate and owners answered our questions very promptly. The kitchen is fully stocked and appliances are high end. The view from the back top deck is very nice and you can enjoy ocean breezes and hear the waves. We had a wonderful time and recommend this property to extended families

This Chatham home was a lovely, clean and comfortable vacation getaway that was greatly enjoyed by my family this July, 2018. The closeness to the private beach was the key feature as we had my two grandsons in tow with all the paraphernalia that accompanies young ones. However, because of the layout of the home, anyone with knee issues should be aware that there will be a lot of stair climbing during your stay as the kitchen/living area is actually on the second floor of the home. Regardless, the home itself was meant for families to enjoy their time together; whether it be enjoying morning coffee on the upper deck, hot tubbing after the beach on the second floor deck or spending your evenings by the lower deck fire pit. This is a fully equipped home. It lacks for nothing. I suggest opting for the linen service as the sheets/towels were top quality which made for less in what we needed to pack. As always Chatham remains as charming as I remember visiting 20 years ago. Thank you Robert & Laurie!

This was exactly where our multi-generational family needed to be. Walking distance to the beach - short driving trip into Harwich or Chatham. We were in love with the views and amenities of this home. The homeowners could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The entire vacation was a huge success because this home made all 3 of our individual families easily accommodated and comfortable. Looking forward to a return trip!

As grandparents in our early sixties, we brought our two adult children, their spouses and a 16 month old grandchild. None of us had ever been to the area before and this home and location were perfect. We all enjoyed the close neighborhood beach which was key for convenience with our grandson. There was plenty of room at the beach for everything we wanted to do and the house was easy to get back and forth to--at most a 75 yard walk. In addition, everywhere we wanted to go was 5-45 minutes away including Chatham, Hyannis, Nauset Beach, Wellfleet and Provincetown. The home was very roomy; as it turned out I felt that each family had their own "suite". Our family with the child stayed downstairs with two bedrooms, bath and outdoor access; our daughter and her husband stayed on the second floor and had two rooms with outdoor access; and we had the master suite which was roomy and had a great gas fireplace with access to the deck. We used the hot tub, fire pit, barbecue and upper balcony for visiting. The kitchen was very well stocked and roomy for all of us with a wonderful dining room table for our family meals and nighttime games. This area was an exceptional gathering spot from breakfast to dinner. We had surf and turf a couple of evenings including lobster, crab legs, shrimp and steak! The living room/family room was removed enough from the kitchen area so that people could read or visit. The ocean views from every room were better than we expected and we could hear the ocean from every room which for midwesterners was awesome. The home was very clean with tons of windows and great light. We had a couple of questions during our stay and the owners were very responsive and kind. One key to our stay was ordering groceries from peapod.com which we picked up at a Stop and Shop grocery store on our way from Boston. We didn't have to rush out to pick up groceries for a couple of days which was great. Some of our favorites from the trip were: hanging at the house and neighborhood beach, going to Nauset Beach, visiting Provincetown and going to Nantucket on the Fast Ferry for a day. Loved our visit to the Cape and this home. We all can't wait to return!

The house we rented was impeccably clean, steps to the ocean and included all the amenities one could hope for! Highly recommended for a week of the Cape Cod experience!

We just got back from our week in cape cod. The house was great...Clean, plenty of space for everyone and had everything you would need. The yard was great for the kids too..The location is awesome. 2 min walk to beach or 5 minute drive to bigger beaches. Quick drive into downtown Chatham or harwich. We will definitely book again!! :)

The home is located in a quiet, convenient area of South Chatham. It has amazing views of Nantucket Sound and to the East, Monomoy Island. Beaches are within a few minutes walk [one beach is about 1 minute away]. The living areas are open and conducive to being together whether for dining or just hanging out. Some of the appliances are a bit tired, but overall it is an excellent facility, well equipped and exceedingly well located. The linen service which they arranged for our stay was terrific.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the house this past week. It was our second year renting this lovely home and really enjoyed the location, amenities and the endless charm of Chatham. We hope to stay again in 2018! Thank you Laurie and Robert!
