We just finished a week at this wonderful home. The space worked very well for our group of 11. The two kitchens is a nice extra and the top floor is cool with a BR, Bath and sitting area. We really enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the canal docking access for kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards. A short 20 minute drive brings you to Naples Me which has a fun downtown and good places to eat. In short we would stay at this home again if we’re in the Sebago area. Alicia is a gracious host and quick to reply to any question or concern. Thank you Alicia for a wonderful family time vacation!

We had a great week and the air was a real bonus.

Clean house with great outdoor spaces and new AC worked great. Great vacation... could have used more fish and less rain. We really enjoyed eating out on large 2nd floor deck.

We were an extended family ranging from age 2 to 74. The house is spacious with plenty of room for people to spread out. We really enjoyed the pedal boat. Gave the adults a good workout and delighted the little ones. Location was convenient.

No air conditioning was a big problem. Also, the pictures mis represent the location - you cannot see the lake from the property and the lagoon did mot add to the experience. The beach was nice but it was over 1/4 mile from the house - we had to shuttle there snd back. House decks were great - main kitchen well stocked which we welcomed. The house was very nice but the location was a let down for the price. Would not rent this property again .

Everything was great Alicia is very easy to work with and very prompt in her response. The house and yard handled our group easily. The dock was a hidden gem we had four toddlers and they played in a little pool in between boat trips naps etc. Very nice location. Very nice person to deal with. Thank you.

This home well suited our needs. There was plenty of space for our 8 plus an occasional guest. The dock was convenient for our 22’ pontoon boat and we spent a lot of time on the water. The younger members enjoyed the large lawn and lawn games. The beach was somewhat convenient but we didn’t spend much time there. The house was well stocked with everything you would expect and then some. Large table on the deck held us all for evening meals. The owners were very responsive and flexible. Love the layout of the house! I would question at some point the dock’s utility in August-Sep when the lake drops. We were able to navigate but without much margin. Another 6 inches or more I might be hesitant to attempt with my 22’ toon and 150HP. All in all a fantastic week. If you are looking for a fun place this is it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house. Check in process was extremely easy. Key was where it said it was. Directions were on point. Thank God there were two kitchens because 15 people would have never made it in one! Between the amount of people, the lay out of the furniture, plus the flooring for the next project, it could get cramped in certain parts of the house. You also have to watch what you say because you can hear everything between the floors. For this, make sure you vacation with people you truly like, if not, this is not the house for you because you cannot talk crap about one another without someone hearing it, lol. The beach area that is shared is also only big enough for about our party of 15, more than that would get cramped as well. Super quick walk though from the house, which was so nice! 40 minute ride to Portland, which was easy to get to. About 3 hours to Acadia National Park and was an easy ride, definitely make the trip! It will NOT disappoint! Overall, we had a great stay, just a little cramped on the inside, so we made sure we stayed outside majority of the time, besides sleeping. Thank you so much!

Great location for a family lake vacation on a beautiful lake. Ample bed space, ample lounging space, awesome outdoor seating and games. All-in-all, great family memories made here.

Our family had a wonderful time getting away. It is a beautiful home but as a previous renter stated the place needs a clean-up. We were also promised a small refund since the peddle boat was underwater and we have yet to receive it.

We had a GREAT family vacation. House was perfect. Kitchen had everything we needed. Dick was great for our kayaks & beach was only a short walk.

We liked everything about the property except it just wasn’t clean. Especially the carpets, furniture and 2nd floor stove which also didn’t work properly. Alisha did respond quickly to have the 1st floor refrigerator repaired when it stopped working.

Great location, easy access to boat launch where we launched kayaks daily, short walk to beach, water was crystal clear, great week, Alicia always available to answer our questions.

The house was the same as the listing. We had an issue with the one shower leaking and the owner had it fixed within a day.

The private/shared beach was beautiful and it was a five minute walk from the house. We rented a boat and the dock was convenient. We enjoyed being on the lake and in the lake. The house's open floor plan accommodated our group of 12. Alicia, the owner, was very responsive to our questions. Great week.

Enjoyed our stay. Canals were a great way to launch our kayaks. Sebago lake was clean and inviting as always. . House was large with nice deck for morning coffee. Having spent 15 years on nearby Brandy Pond, we return to our Maine roots every summer. Unfortunately the neighbor was building a house next door and begin running heavy equipment every day at 7:00. We are early risers yet at times it was hard to hear each other over the noise. I asked everyone in our group if they would go back next year. Everyone answered. Yes. Ron P. California

We enjoyed the house, though on hot days, sleeping was a bit difficult. The location is wonderful with nice beach/swimming area and dock for a boat.

Our family of 16 recently stayed for a week vacation, ages ranging from 5 to 67. The layout of the house is great for large groups, the yard is wonderful for playing. We had a number of wiffleball, corn hole and other games being played during the week. The kids loved being able to fish in the cove and off the dock. The dock and cove held our pontoon boat with no issue. The younger kids loved playing and running in and out of the water at beach area. We spent countless hours on the large decks enjoying the morning coffee or evening card games. Sebago Lake was beautiful; warm water and clean. Looking forward to a future vacation at the lake.

The house worked great, it’s not on the lake, which would have been perfect with young kids, but it’s a short drive I’d recommend this house

We would definitely stay here again! Great location and perfect if you have a boat and want to explore and enjoy the lake.

This vacation was planned almost a year ahead. We along with our 3 adult children and their significant others and our grandchildren (ranging in age from 15 down to 1 week old) The house was just perfect. Everyone had a perfect bed to sleep in. We could all eat every meal together. My husband David has MS and had just bought his first battery operated wheelchair. He is able to climb stairs so he was able to get around. He raced the little ones to the beach in the wheelchair. The older children jumped off the dock into the lake. The smaller ones enjoyed canoeing with their Daddy. Thanks to Alicia for being so very helpful when we had a small problem with the TV. She totally saved the day. The grandchildren each picked a movie from our account on either Amazon Prime or Netflix, we were able to stream them to the TV. Scott the caretaker across the street is a very kind caring man. We had fires just about every night. It was just a totally wonderful once in a lifetime experience which we and our children and grandchildren will remember forever. Thank you so much for allowing us this priceless week..

We had an amazing stay at this property. It is a spacious home on a beautifully wooded lot near Sebago Lake. The homeowner was very quick to answer to all my questions both before and after booking. The property is exactly as described and had everything our large group of adults snd children needed for the week. The short walk to the lake is nice and the private beach is beautiful. We rented a pontoon boat which we kept at their dock and spent every day on the lake. We enjoyed making meals in the well-stocked kitchen and there was plenty of room both inside and outside on the decks to relax and dine. I highly recommend this property and I look forward to our next trip to Sebago Lake!

We had a wonderful stay! The 3 separate floors fit our family perfectly. The grounds around the house and big wrapping porches in both levels were wonderful! The first night was quite hot but after that the house cooled off beautifully each night and stayed nice and cool during the day. The beach was farther than we expected. Expect a short drive but a walk is totally possible but harder with kids and beach stuff. It was however beautiful and absolutley perfect for us! The dock was a blast and the beach stayed in the shade the majority of the day which allowed our kids hours and hours of fun!! We would definitely rent this property again! It was a wonderful trip!!

The house was perfect for our large family. It’s a 0.3 mile walk to a private lake beach. The beach is shared with a few neighbors, which we weren’t expecting, but it wasn’t a problem at all. Everyone was friendly. The lake was great for swimming, boating, and just relaxing. One thing to be aware of, if you book on the hottest week of the year like we did, there is no air conditioning, so it gets very hot in the upstairs rooms and didn’t cool off until about 4am. It’s probably not a problem at all 50 weeks of the year though! Overall, we had a great trip in a great house.

We recently returned from a week at this wonderful log cabin house! A group of about 15 family and friends visit Sebago lake every summer, and we were very happy at this property. There was a lot of yard for the kids to run around. We used the canoe and the docks for our rented boat and jet skis, which were perfect. The house and amenities were updated (we loved the stereo system throughout the house!), and hanging out in the house on a rainy day was lovely. The wrap around porches were great for adults and kids, and we spent every night at the firepit. We would definitely stay again!

This lovely log cabin met the needs of our multi-generational group of 15. The location was great for enjoying both the lake and Maine's coastline. We experienced a couple of hiccups with the property but the owner was very responsive, minimizing impacts on our vacation.

I don't know where to start! Our family absolutely loved everything about our stay at this property. The location is excellent, with beautiful lake access, and 2 docks for our boat and kayaks. The house is gorgeous. Modern, beautifully appointed, yet warm and welcoming with the natural (light) log interior and lots of natural light. Our extended family of grandparents, parents and grandkids all had so much to do here. We loved that the house is situated on 3 floors - so that we could share time together at meals in the gathering space and huge kitchen on the main floor, yet there was enough space to spread out and have some quiet time if you needed it. The kids loved the entertainment room on the first floor - and the adults all loved the various porches and decks! We also enjoyed campfires at night around the firepit and playing lawn games. We had never been to Sebago Lake - but this is a new favorite spot for us! The lake is long - almost 15 miles, and is not jam packed with boats and jetskis. We took our boat out to Frye Island one day and had a great lunch at the restaurant there. We also loved that all bedding, towels and cooking utensils were included. All we had to do was bring our clothes. Now, that's what I call a real vacation! Our stay at this property made for fond memories for our entire family.

Our 50th Wedding Anniversary was on Saturday, August 5, 2017. We had already had a wonderful stay at HomeAway #182451 three years ago with our children, their spouses and our grandchildren. It was the obvious choice for such a celebration. For a family of 13 (8 adults, 5 kids ranging ages 7-14) the space was perfect. With the ground floor having two double bedrooms, full bath and kitchen plus media room and dining area, we were able to enjoy videos with the whole family. Then, on the second floor another two bedrooms, full bath, kitchen, dining area, gracious living space plus wrap around covered porch and open deck, we could dine outside every evening rain or shine. The weather happened to be perfect all week long. The third floor, again with full bath, has a spacious bedroom with varied sleeping possibilities plus a living area with couches and TV plus puzzles and games. Great place for kids! Kitchen amenities are first class pots and pans with plenty of flatware and dishes for a large group. More ice trays would be a good thing. Having lived in Maine for 18 years before moving to NC we had a small party to reconnect with old friends and had everything we needed for that. Evenings outside were spent around the firepit enjoying s'mores, playing guitar, banjo, frisbee, croquet (our set). It is a happy place for children and a relaxing place for adults. I know that some very important memories were made and I cherish those that I have.

My wife and I along with my four adult children, three spouses and the 7 grand kids stayed for two weeks. Each family had their own bedroom. The house was great and the beach was great for the kids. Great house for a large group. I liked being close to the Maine coast and the New Hampshire mountains. We took a ride to Frye Island on our boat with some of the kids to get ice cream. That was a hit. The owner was very helpful and stayed on top of our stay and the person caring for the house came over and talked to us about the house. This was helpful. In a perfect world the house would be on the water or have a shed near the beach so we did not have to cart stuff to house and beach. Would recommend this house to a larger family group.

The house was perfect for our stay! We truly enjoyed the lake and got to make lasting memories with our friends! Alicia and Andy were awesome! Checked in on us after several storms hit in one day! Would definitely rent again and hope to make more memories at this beautiful house on the Lake

OWNERS SHOW CONCERN FOR THE RENTERS COMFORT. WOULD RECOMMEND TO ALL WHO CARE FOR THE OUTDOORS. SHOPPOING IS CLOSE ENOUGH TO ACCOMODATE THE NEEDS OF THE RENTERS.
