Idle Speed - In the ❤ of Pickwick
Le ralenti est une retraite paisible dans les bois du lac Pickwick. Il comporte un plan d'étage ouvert avec un porche, deux foyers, des boiseries sur mesure, une cheminée en pierre rustique entourée de baies vitrées et une nouvelle laveuse / sécheuse. Avec un hébergement pour 9, Idle Speed est idéal pour les réunions de famille, les vacances avec des amis et les pêcheurs. Idéalement situé à proximité de 3 marinas, restaurants et épiceries.
La vitesse de ralenti est parfaite pour recevoir. Le plan d'étage ouvert permet aux clients de passer du temps de qualité ensemble à cuisiner, parler, regarder la télévision, jouer à des jeux et plus encore. La maison est nichée dans les bois sur un acre et demi avec beaucoup d'intimité par rapport aux voisins.
La grande pièce à vivre possède une belle cheminée en pierre avec des fenêtres du sol au plafond, une table à manger pour 6 personnes et des boiseries sur mesure. Beaucoup de lumière naturelle et des vues sur les bois entourant la maison. Ouverts sur la cuisine et le grenier, les clients peuvent se mêler librement de la cabine.
La cuisine est dotée de parquet, de nouveaux comptoirs en granit, de cuisinières électriques, d'un lave-vaisselle, d'un réfrigérateur, d'un compacteur de déchets, d'une cafetière, d'un mixeur, d'une plaque chauffante électrique, d'un gaufrier et de tous les ustensiles dont vous avez besoin. Buanderie située près de la cuisine avec une nouvelle laveuse et sécheuse très profonde. Beaucoup de détergent et accessoires situés dans des armoires.
La suite principale est hors de la cuisine et comprend un lit queen, 2 placards, comptoir en granit, douche séparée et baignoire jacuzzi. Sèche-cheveux situé dans le tiroir de la salle de bain principale.
L'étage comprend un grenier primaire et secondaire. Le loft principal comprend un lit double, un lit simple, un canapé-lit gigogne et une salle de bain complète avec comptoir en granit. Montez dans le loft supérieur pour trouver un autre lit.
À l'extérieur, vous trouverez une terrasse autour du barbecue et du charbon de bois. Une véranda séparée avec une section confortable, un foyer à gaz et une table de pub. Un foyer à bois se trouve à l’avant avec 2 entrées pour un grand stationnement et un espace pour garer votre bateau, 4 roues ou côte à côte.
Le garage et le sous-sol sont verrouillés et ne sont pas accessibles aux invités pour le moment. Pas d'animaux de compagnie.

We invited our grown children to join our family vacation. They spent the days working remotely from the house while we took our younger two out exploring the area during the day. We all reconvened in the evenings by enjoying suppers together and hanging out as a family in the treehouse having great conversations well into the night. It was peaceful and wonderful. The hosts were super communicative over minor issue and worked quickly with us to resolve it. I definitely recommend staying here in this peaceful and quiet setting.

We had plenty of room. We didn’t go anywhere or do anything except rest & relax.

We’ve stayed at this property in the past and it’s still a hit. It is clean and well maintained. The tree house and top loft is always a favorite! Meredith is friendly and communicates everything you need while still being assessable. We’re be back soon!

This property was amazing! Cabin feel, beautiful windows! Everything we needed and things we didn’t think we would need were all there. Absolutely loved the tree house and deck! Clean and comfortable. The host was amazing. Meredith checked on us throughout. The area is perfect for a long weekend with the family. We did not want to leave.

Air didn’t work properly. 76-80 degrees is best we got Grandkids had to sleep downstairs because it was too hot to sleep upstairs

Summer Weekend at Idlespeed
We had an excellent time at Idlespeed for a long weekend. Everything is just as it is captured in the pictures and more! The owner is very engaged in making the stay as pleasant as possible. Hopefully it will be available the next time we are over that way.

Great place to stay while fishing lake Pickwick.
The place was clean, nice and perfectly located for what we wanted. There was a load of towels in the washing machine that had mildewed, but we washed and put up. Other than that, the experience was great and will stay again if we are ever in the area.

This was the perfect place for me to take my daughter and her bridesmaids for some awesome food awesome games and great environment for pictures. We loved the access to so many different places around. This house was the perfect spot for a group of girls.

A few minutes from Shiloh
This is the first time ever reserving a home online. I had reservations (not sure) but hoping like heck it wasn't a scam. This has been a very positive experience, there are other dates I need to get homes reserved for and I'm sticking with Vrbo.!! Totally!. The house worked well and the only question we had regarding an item was answered by our host in a quick fashion and fixed to our satisfaction.almost immediately. I wouldn't hesitate to give 4+ rating.

Just what the doctor ordered
My family and I needed a getaway and this property was perfect. It was clean and had everything you needed stocked. If you need anything it’s close to a store and grocery. It was spacious and exactly as pictured. The only down side was I wished I would’ve booked more time. I didn’t want to leave however I will be back!

Amazing Host
The cabin was amazing and Meredith was so helpful. Bathrooms were well stocked with towels and toiletries. There was enough seating in the livingroom and at the table for our family. Beds were comfy.

We had an amazing time at the house. the Treehouse is the best place to sit and hang out. But don't get to loud at night... the neighbors called a noise complaint on us!

Perfect Weekend Getaway
Even with neighbors fairly close, the house felt so secluded. The huge windows looking out into the woods were beautiful! We were less than 15 minutes and it was easy to get to. I can't wait to visit this property again.
PS--This may seem trivial, but the knives were sharp and as someone who likes to cook while staying at a house, that made me very happy.

July 4th Friends and family
We enjoyed our stay. Easy check in/check out. Beautiful cabin with a comfortable couch, great living room and kitchen. Surprised at the amenities.. we forgot some items- no problem- they were supplied already! The two driveways were nice- one for the car and one to park the truck and trailer. Thank you for allowing us to rent your cabin! Look forward to another stay.

Great getaway
We throughly enjoyed our stay, it was clean and well stocked with extras. Short distance to Shiloh Battle Field and Pickwick Lake. We enjoyed all the trees and wild life. Only negative thing I have to say the stairs are to steep and the railing is to short for safety.

Family time
The house is beautiful, love the set up with the open concept. Accommodations were excellent! We can’t wait to return. The location was close to the marina and supermarket. The owner was prompt anwering quedtions!

Grandparent trip
We took our grands for our first grandparent summer camp. This house was perfect. The kids loved sleeping in the loft. The highlight was the tree house. We had so much fun. The owners have the house stocked with anything you could need. Definitely going back. My next trip will be a girl’s weekend.

We enjoyed this lovely house. We had morning coffee in the treehouse. The house was very well stocked with things you don’t often get when renting. Great location! Very close to the Grand Harbor Marina if you want to rent a boat. Will stay again!
