Location is everything. Hotel Sara definitely has it! The manager is a very kind and helpful lady with 7 years of experience in tourism — she was keen on helping in all aspects of recommendations in the vicinity or around Budva. The sea is right in front of the hotel, free towels and sunbeds are provided. The panorama from the breakfast restaurant is amazing. Our room being on the ground floor did not have that, but was squeaky clean, with free water in the mini bar. Breakfast was very nice and of quality, despite the lack of a huge assortment of food one never really needs, one visiting bigger tourist hotels can be used to have. There are nice restaurants in a 10-30 min walking distance.

Parking can be tricky. 5 cars can easily fit, but 10 only in a Tetris-like fashion. You may need to collate other guests’ needs with yours, but the manager is keen on helping in this as well.

Everything about this hotel is fabulous. So cozy, private, clean and comfortable. The rooms are big, nicely furnished and proximity of the sea is amazing. The staff and services were great, the owner is fantastic host and very helpful. The place to go back to.

Ground floor rooms do not have a window, but misted glass on the entrance door. This is not a huge drawback, but worth knowing. I’d recommend paying extra for an upper floor sea-view room instead.

The hotel is ideally located just in front of the sea, has clean and comfortable apartments and wonderful kind staff. The private beach and sunbeds are great for chilling and enjoying the beautiful landscape. You can also get a bike for free to ride around dobrota. They didnt hesitate to change the apartment for us when we asked to move to second floor instead of ground floor. Everything was perfect.

Hotel Sara is in the perfect location, right on the shores of Kotor Bay. The hotel seemed quite new, and had a semi-private beach area for hotel guests where you could get your own sun bed and umbrella. The main seating area and breakfast terrace were spacious and comfortable, and we had a great view of the sunset every evening. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety, and we had the best foamy cappuccinos in Kotor here. The staff were friendly, but a bit shy, maybe due to language barriers.

While we were there, the water ran out in our room (and other guest's rooms). The staff told us that this was normal but offered no solution except that we had to wait for it to come back. We felt that if this was a normal occurrence, they should inform their guests before checking in so that they can plan showers, etc. The bathroom fixtures and furniture were also quite cheap for the price we were paying for the room. Overall, the price of the room didn't feel worth the hassle of not having water when we needed it, especially during long, hot summer days. Although we weren't here for work, it's worth noting that the wifi is spotty - it can be great at times and terrible at other times, so not reliable for work calls.

The location of the hotel is excellent and very convenient as it’s close to many restaurants. Also one of the best features is the private beach area with loungers and the view.

We booked a suite which was relatively small even for a boutique hotel especially the toilet. Also the room didn’t have blackout curtain so we couldn’t sleep well in the morning. I think with the amount we paid we could have found bigger rooms but we booked last minute our trip and it was peak season.

Good location. Good staff. Very nice view for the breakfast and for swimming.

Not really good value for money. Very noisy fridge in the room a bit annoying during the night. It was a bit dark in the room due to the very small window.
