This rental was great! It had everything we needed and more! The owners required an in person greeting which initially made us feel a bit pressured to get to the property quickly with no stops or detours, but the greeting was short, informative, and overall helpful. There was a very well stocked kitchen, the bathroom had everything we needed, and the living spaces were all that we could have asked for. The house was stocked as if you lived there full time, minus food (although there was a great selection of random spices and other cooking necessities.) this was a great place to stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again!

This property is exactly as it is described. But it is so much more because of Dan and Lila. They go above and beyond to make the stay perfect.

Dan and Lila were great hosts and they go above and beyond to provide a great stay for their guests. From the documentation provided about the house and local area down to the games and beach stuff provided. Their focus is making sure you have a great time. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely stay here again when visiting Cocoa Beach.

It was a great help that Dan and Lila met us at the house and showed us how everything works and where to find stuff (especially since a US household is structured a bit different than in Germany). We felt very welcome and are thankful for that. The house had absolutely everything we needed, both in terms of general layout, as well as equipment stock, especially in the kitchen. The location speaks for itself: Having the beach in walking distance is priceles. We were very glad that the house had a stock of beach equipment that we could take there.

Dan & Lila's house is absolutely amazing. Really makes you feel at home. 3 BR for bigger family's. 2 big bath. Super clean. Having dinner outside on the porch. Every store is in walking distance or a very short drive. 2-5min *900ft walk to the beach from the house* Pull the wagon from the storage closet and go.

Our stay for the long weekend of Memorial day was excellent, the house had everything you might thing you will need and beyond, location was extremely convenient and the Hosts were really friendly!

Stayed here in April. The whole family enjoyed staying here, great location, walking distance to a nice family friendly beach, not crowded. Hosts were great and super accommodating. House has everything you need.

Comfortable, convenient and only a couple blocks to beach and restaurants!! This cozy home has a fully equipped kitchen, with great dining inside and out, on the sunny patio. We had all the beach equipment you could need! This year we found great new eateries in "Crackers island, Fish Lips and Sunset Grille"! Watched 2 Space X launches, one from the beach and one from the jetty nearby! And Lighthouse Mini golf continued the fun times we enjoyed all week. What else can we say... your hospitality brought it all together for another great stay at Cocoa Beach. Thanks!

We stayed 5 days prior to our cruise. Location was perfect. Owners walked us through everything. House was totally equipped. Great time!

This is a well kept home within walking distance to beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Lila and Dan have thought of everything needed for a perfect stay at their home, at the beach, and at Cocoa Beach. The house was spotless, and great thought went into the details ensuring that all of the basics (and then some!) were in place for the stay. A beach cart, beach towels, coolers, beach toys and more were all available for use. The quiet neighborhood and proximity to the beach were a bonus. The outdoor space was very tropical and private and included table, umbrella, comfortable chairs and even a charcoal grill which we put to great use. The owners gave a personal tutorial upon arrival and were helpful on many levels. A highlight was the family walking to the beach on two separate occasions to watch SpaceX rocket launches at night. In summary, great owners and a great house.

The house was exactly as advertised and very well stocked. Great neighborhood with a short walk to the beach and restaurants. A 7 mikes drive to Cocoa Village and the Kennedy Space Center is 5 miles away. We watched a launch from the beach! I would definitely stay here again! Thanks Lila.

Everything you will need while visiting! Beach 2 blocks away, pretty private and not alot of people. House was all you need while on a beach vacation. Would highly recommend!!

This was our second stay at Dan and Lila's property and once again, we had a wonderful time. The house is super clean, and packed with everything we needed and more. They have a ton of beach toys, an umbrella and a large wagon to help get it all to the beach and back. Only a three block walk to the beach, which is also clean and in between two life guarded areas, which are easily walkable. We'll definitely be back!

From check in to check out, Dan and Lila were helpful, kind and accommodating! The house is in fantastic shape; appliances all work; pantry was even stocked with items such as Pam nonstick spray and sandwich baggies. Everything was clean and very comfortable! The house is mere minutes from the pier, Ron Jon’s, awesome restaurants and much more! Overall our trip was awesome- thank you!

The property was just as advertised and more. The amenities were great Everything we needed was provided and was easy to find and to use. The short walk to the beach was nice. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. We would definitely want to return.

Cozy, Comfy, Organized, and exceptionally well-stocked. We stayed at Dan and Lila's VRBO home for the Easter weekend (2022). The home had everything we would want or need. The coffee machine even ground fresh coffee grounds ( supper nice touch!). Situated close to the beach and many restaurants. Very Happy!

Dan and Lila were amazing hosts and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We booked their property to join our son and his baseball team for their trip to Cocoa Beach. Their property was convenient to our son’s hotel and the playing fields. A clean quiet sanctuary that was truly appreciated. We will certainly be back.

Our family of four stayed at this lovely Cocoa Beach home hosted by Dan and Lila. First of all, Dan and Lila are the most gracious and kind hosts you could possibly meet--genuine in all regards. They are the reason this house felt like a home. We were welcomed and given a tour. This was perfect because we learned some travel tips for the area and learned where we could find everything. This home literally has EVERYTHING you could possibly need. It was so well organized and CLEAN. They have thought of everything you could possibly need to have an easy, relaxing stay. The house has spacious closets, large dressers, huge kitchen sink and faucet, like-new appliances, games, books (some written by Dan himself--not to be missed!), large patio table, and room for everyone to relax. The house and street itself were nice and quiet. We very much enjoyed the extensive collection of beach toys, chairs, wagon, coolers, beach bags, etc. There were beach items for all ages. The patio and plant life around the property were stunning. Lila even created an activity for kids (or adults!) to spy the different types of plants around the property. This home is so well maintained and Dan and Lila truly care that their guests have a wonderful stay. They live locally, which is so helpful and reassuring, versus renting from a rental company that treats people like numbers. We felt like VIP guests in every aspect. They were just a phone call or text away if we needed anything. Before our visit, I reached out for directions from Universal and for some advice on local restaurants to try. They sent step by step directions which were super helpful, as well as a list of places to explore/visit. We are already looking into when we take another vacation and stay at this home again. We felt so comfortable and had so much fun creating family memories here. We also look forward to seeing Dan and Lila again--such sincere, good people. You will not regret booking this (beach) home away from home!

We all agreed this was a delightful visit to this perfect home, with all we needed and more ! The hosts were easily contacted for any question, whether it was house or community related ! We enjoyed the beach, cooking in and eating out ; and had all the tools and tips to accomodate us. Dan and Lila are the best !! Would highly recommend to others and we hope to stay here again in the future!!

Dan and Lila offer one of the best experiences you could have on VRBO. The place is immaculate and all furnishings and appliances are high quality. Everything was well equipped. They also make the stay easier by meeting you when you arrive and give you a tour. Lila’s landscaping of the property shows her skills. Unfortunately we were there before they came fully into bloom. Sitting on the patio and enjoying the weather and the privacy was a favorite.. We highly recommend their house.

House was very clean and well appointed. The owners were very attentive to our requests. The location is excellent as the house is just a few blocks from the beach. The owner kept us up to date on rocket launches from the nearby Cape, so we got to see them. The house is well worth the price.

Tremendous location, close to Kennedy Space Center, super close to the beach, a great beach at that!, grocery, restaurants, etc. And then there’s Dan and Lila - you just don’t meet nicer people, let alone be lucky enough to share their home. Meeting us at the house, giving us a tour, and sharing details all made our visit even better ~ where to eat, shop, etc. would absolutely come back!! It really felt like home!

The house and location were ideal for our family vacation. The hosts were great making sure everything was lined up for the stay. Having the house equipped put our family at ease. The kids loved the beach toys and boogie boards that were available. We would stay here again when in the area.

The process to rent this property was very easy. It's such a cute house in a great location. We loved how short the walk was to the beach and also the privacy at the beach in that area. It was not as crowded for our family compared to other public access areas at Cocoa Beach. We would love to stay at this property again in the future!
