Ce chalet pittoresque, acceptant les animaux domestiques (avec la permission du propriétaire) est à 1,6 km du centre du village de Skaneateles, à distance de marche facile. Il est situé sur une voie privée à environ 400 pieds du lac Skaneateles-aucune route à traverser. Le chalet est entouré d'arbres et très privé. Le chalet, pendant une promenade de 2 minutes sur la voie privée jusqu'au lac, comprend un porche privé séparé (bâtiment rouge rustique montré sur la photo) directement sur le lac, idéal pour les cocktails, les couchers de soleil, etc. Veuillez noter: le chalet rouge au bord de l'eau est réservé au stockage. Vous séjournerez dans le chalet browish qui est détaillé par les photos intérieures. Le chalet rougeâtre montre votre accès au lac. Il y a 2 minutes à pied entre le chalet dans lequel vous séjournez et votre accès privé au lac.
Le bord du lac est de niveau, a son propre quai et a une pente progressive idéale pour la baignade pour tous les âges. La ruelle est bordée d'arbres, très privée. Le chalet est chauffé. Le chalet peut accueillir une famille de 4 à 6 personnes, et dispose du wi-fi.

Property was well located clean and unique
The only small negative was listed as being air conditioned only primary bedroom has air conditioning. The view of lake from the dock was outstanding

We had a great stay at the cabin near the lake. Andy was extremely responsive and flexible with questions and adjusting our reservation. We stayed at the property during a heat wave, but there were plenty of fans and the bedroom had an AC unit. Everything was as pictured. Morning stroll to the lake felt like a movie… bunnies, chipmunks, ducklings all made appearances. The property makes you feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle but is a short drive or walk to the village.

While our weather was unexpectedly chilly, our time away in the cabin was wonderful. We were supplied adequately with heat and with every possible device and appliance. We had a woodsy, charming and short walk to the lake which our Italian Greyhound especially enjoyed. The bed, the bedding, the towels, the dishes, the cooking utensils were good quality and more than adequate. And the availability of firepit and wood was an extra treat. Just being near the beautiful Village of Skaneateles was especially noteworthy. But, if your hope is to fish, bring or rent a boat or kayaks.

We felt like we were in the middle of peaceful woods with our very own lake to skip rocks on. Then we jumped in our car and we were in the cutest town, Skaneateles, with shops restaurants and a great place to walk in just a 4 minute car ride! My kids want us to buy the cabin!

The place was great, roomy for just the two of us and our dog. I loved taking the short walk down to the lakeshore each morning and especially at night to see all the stars. Hosts were more than accommodating and friendly. We'll definitely stay here again!

since the property owner recommends that guests use bottled water for drinking, a couple of bottles to get a new guest started would be appreciated.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the cottage. Very serene setting, yet so close to the village, which is a 25 minute walk away. Wonderful sunsets from the dock. Thanks to Andy!

Our cabin was in a very private area with access to the lake. That is exactly what we we were looking for—privacy, quiet, and a peaceful natural area with birds and our special rabbit whom we saw frequently.
We loved the dock area and spent a lot of time there just looking at the lake. We took our boards and kayak out every day to explore the beautiful, clean waters of the lake. It was a wonderful experience.
The cabin was comfortable and clean, with all necessities provided. I appreciated the coffee-table book about the Finger Lakes, which made me think about the history of the region and its progressive communities.
The back porch and campfire area were also comfy, and we used them a lot.
I hope that cabins like ours continue to be offered to Skaneateles visitors, and that the neighborhood does not become increasingly posh and exclusive.

We enjoyed our stay at Skaneateles lake. The cottage has lake access, which is where we launched our kayaks from. The lake was quiet and calm during our stay! Andy is very nice and was responsive to my questions. Tyson enjoyed our getaway!

This property was perfect for our needs. We were gone most days, but we did enjoy the scenery surrounding the cottage. It was gorgeous. It fit 3 adults nicely. I wouldn't recommend any more than 4. The property manager was communicative and checking in and out was a breeze.

The cabin had all the amenities listed and was a nice home away from home. The interior was clean and ready for our visit. Just a short walk from the cabin, the sitting area down by the lake was very peaceful. The neighborhood was quiet and close to areas we wanted to see, including Syracuse, Seneca Falls, and Auburn.

The cabin was very nice it included a short stroll to be on the water.
The cabin was very nice. The bed was comfortable and we spent coffee time on the porch. It is a short stroll to the water where you can sit on a porch or dock on the water for a beautiful sunset.
We brought our fishing boat and enjoyed relaxing and fishing on the lake. There is a great NYS boat launch on the west side of the lake. You do need to bring bottled water for drinking. Our dog seemed to enjoy her little get away.

We had a great stay, but had to work around some rainy weather.
We love this area and all around Skaneateles. This location is convenient to town and stores and recreation. Walking down to the lake and sitting was so relaxing. We had a nice cook out with some family who came up for the day and a nice campfire in the firepit to cap off a truly wonderful vacation.

Great Stay
We really enjoyed our time at the cozy cabin. Just a shirt stroll down the lane to the lake. Andy, our host was quick to respond if we had questions orior to our stay. He was also readily a available if we needed him while at the cabin.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the cottage. It was quaint, comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed the short walk to the lake each morning and loved the town of Skaneateles. I cannot give enough praise to our host Andrew. Throughout the reservation process, prior to our leaving, and during our stay, he answered my E-mails promptly and made sure everything was set for our arrival. Thank you Andrew and looking forward to coming again next year.

Perfect Skaneateles Stay
This place is everything and more! The pictures don’t do it justice. The inside has a coziness that isn’t captured by photos. It feels like you’re staying at a remote “camp” but walking distance to town- which I wouldn’t have thought was possible. Andy went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. He let us use his Cornhole set too! 5 stars.

Spectacular.
Everything was excellent! The cabin, the property, the lakefront/dock, and the hosts were spectacular... the comfort in the cabin, the private lake frontage, swimming, floating on my raft, even the thunderstorm and heavy downpour of rain (which made me feel like a little kid again at my childhood camp in Vermont : ) have left me with warm and happy memories and an absolute yearning to go back. Everything was perfect. A true piece of heaven... so relaxing and peaceful.... Definitely will go back!

Couples getaway
Perfect cabin for a couple to escape from the city and relax in nature. Enjoy this quaint, cozy cabin, perfect location not far from the town, and just a small walk to the lake. We love the town and were so happy to find this little gem for our spontaneous roadtrip! The host were very helpful and nice. They are not far from the cabin but not intrusive at all, we had our privacy which we were very happy about. Would definitely recommend this cabin.

Our stay at the cabin was wonderful! We really enjoyed the quiet getaway, which still allowed for easy access to the village (within comfortable walking distance). Check-in was easy, the cabin was clean, and it was equipped with everything we might have needed. Andy was an excellent and attentive host who checked in to make sure that we were comfortable, and provided great recommendations of places to eat, things to do, etc. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet weekend at the lake!

Cute cabin w/private waterfront in excellent location
This is a cute cabin with all you need - well-equipped kitchen, gas grill, porch, fire pit and picnic table in front of the cabin and another table, chairs, porch, and dock down by the water. The location is great - less than one mile from the village on the east side of the lake resulting in more afternoon sun and beautiful sunsets. The hosts are wonderful - very responsive.

Great stay!!
My husband and I stayed here with our 8 month old daughter and dog last weekend. We had a great stay! The property was perfect for us. Check in and out were very easy and Andy was so pleasant to deal with. He greeted us on our first full day and let us know if we needed anything not to hesitate to ask. The place was very clean and perfect for our small family. The lake access was a short walk down but was fun as Andy provided us with a wagon that my daughter enjoyed taking a ride in! The lake water was so clear and fun to swim in. The house was 5 mins from town which was very convenient as well. Had a great stay and will definitely return.

Great stay
My friend and I had a great stay at this cottage last weekend. The heart of Skaneateles is within walking distance. It really couldn't be much more convenient. The house is modest, but with all of the necessary amenities. There are chairs and a dock out by the private lake area and more chairs in the backyard with a firepit. We will be back again!
