Cozy 2 Bedroom Apt - Walk To Hunter Mountain In The Catskills
Cet appartement de 2 chambres est situé au cœur du village de Hunter. L'appartement peut accueillir 6 (2 lits et un canapé-lit.) La 2ème chambre est accessible en se réveillant à travers la 1ère chambre. Il se trouve à 10-15 minutes à pied du Hunter Mountain Ski Lodge. C'est une promenade très courte (3-5 minutes) à plusieurs entreprises dans le village tels que Mama's Pizzeria, Mac Gregor's Pub, Bagels & More, et le restaurant chinois de Pékin. Nous n'avons pas la télévision par câble, mais l'accès à notre compte Netflix se fait sur un téléviseur intelligent. L'appartement est à une courte distance en voiture de Tannersville (5 minutes), Kaaterskill Falls (10 minutes) et North-South Lake & Campground (10 minutes). Hunter Mountain (10 minutes à pied de la loge) accueille des événements tout au long de l'année tels que Tap Fest, Mountain Jam, Festival de musique Taste of Country, Festival des Alpes allemandes et Oktoberfest. This property is so close to the mountain and so conveniently located to pizza, gas, bagels, and more. The owners are so attentive and communicative. Although the unit is compact, it has enough space to enjoy for the weekend. I would suggest adding a kitchen chair or two as the unit sleeps 3-6 people and there are only two chairs.
We probably would not return to this spot because cleanliness was an issue. The kitchen had a very funny smell and was in need a good wipe down. The oven mitts were splattered with food and there were fingerprints and cooking residue on the tea kettle, stove, and fridge. The knobs to the oven were brown and dirty and the walls needed a good wiping to clean up brown spots and food splatters.
My son's phone slipped in between two cushions on a couch with a couch cover and when we lifted up the pillows there were many crumbs and a beer bottle cap.
Also, conveniently, there was an abundance of sheets, blankets, and towels but they are mismatched and some are stained and worn.
I think with one good clean this unit will be right back in business!

Would stay here again
Had a lovely time here. Clean, quaintly cute and comfortable. Conveniently close to hunter mountain entrance. Coming in on a Saturday during peak hours - it would have been faster to walk from the house instead of parking so far down in a full parking lot. Also a very short walk to a convenience store/gas station, beer tavern, and deli/bagel place. Would definitely stay here again. Laura was great and communicative.

Great stay
The apt came as advertised and I would definitely stay another time if I was to stay again at Hunter Mt to ski. It is a short walk to the the mountain and there are a few places to eat/drink also within walking distance. The employees at the ski shop across the street were helpful as well. My only complaint is that there was no hand soap in the bathroom so we had to buy it.

This house is right across the street from Hunter Mountain and not far from Windham Mountain. Perfect weekend getaway for 4 people with close restaurants and bars. Very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Charming little ski cottage
Great location to the mountain! Literally right across the street. My only negative is that it was really cold in the morning and we had no access to the heat to warm it up. Other than that, two comfortable size rooms and a sofa/sofa bed. Perfect fit for a few friends to getaway for a night. Homeowners were very nice and accommodated a check in for early morning! Brewery right down the street was awesome as well. Will definitely be staying here again if this is available my next trip to Hunter.

Nice and cozy little place!!
The apartment is small but served us (3 adults and three teenagers) very well. Laura and Bill were very fast and efficient every time we had a question, or needed them. We had a great weekend and will come back for sure!

perfect little place for some ski days
Overall everything was really nice , the only down side is that the heating was really noisy so if you are a light sleeper you may want to consider taking ear plugs. but overall a great experience.

Great weekend getaway
My husband and I stayed here for a ski weekend and it was perfect. The location is great you are a 5 min drive to Hunter. You can walk to a couple awesome places; a bagel shop, bar, Chinese take out and pizzeria. The apartment is comfy and the perfect size for a romantic getaway. We love Hunter and will definitely be back.

This was our second time staying at this apartment and we have our third stay booked. We love the location and the easy 10 minute walk to Hunter Mountain. Laura and Bill are a pleasure to deal with and always respond quickly with any questions we have. Looking forward to the next time!

Everything went perfect. House is so close to the mountain which makes it very easy. House perfect for a couple nights stay and owners were very nice and helpful!!

Great Location
We stayed here in June for a long weekend for a music festival at Hunter Mountain. The location can't be beat. It's a 10 minute walk to the Hunter Lodge. Easy walk to the nearby convenience store and other restaurants as well. The apartment is clean and the TV does work (it has Roku, which I assume the previous reviewer couldn’t get to work). The owners are so nice and easy to work with, and very responsive if we had any questions. We are already booked for next year's festival and look forward to staying in this great apartment!

Stay was fair
We were happy with the location.
We were not happy with the following:
There is no TV stations available, thus no TV just some VHS movies and a small personal stereo that had bad reception.
The apartment has a musty smell to it.
The WiFi was spotty.
The bathroom power tripped while blow drying hair. We finally found the open fuse box, but the fuses were unlabeled. We were unsure of what to do, but removed the fuses and reset all.
Wallpaper is coming of the wall.
We have had ham and cheese sandwiches that were thicker than the mattress on the bed!
We think the pricing was excessive.
