No hot water, very few water in the shower. garage very low, scrached roof of my car (1.85 high)

I wanted a fully equipped apartman close enough to Barcelona to reach it in an hour but far enough to have nice beaches with less crowded bars and restaurants. Something authentic. I got everything I wanted! The host was outmost helpful and friendly, the kitchen fully equipped, everything nice and tidy. The sorroundings arent noisy and its a safe neighbourhood. The police station is one street away and tourism Office is also close. The Beach and restaurants, shops, McDonald's, supermarket are walk distance. The Beach is clean, lots of shells, sand, fishes and crabs. Prices are very fair, good quality and everybody is friendly.

The property is close to the train station (5 min walking), in a friendly and quiet neighbourhood. We use the apartment mostly to travel to Villanova, Sitges, and Barcelona's surrounding cities. The apartment is a bit far away from the city centre, but in the opposite direction, there are a lot of amenities such as restaurants, and fantastic walking near the beach. A great place for summertime, sure.

The host was very friendly. The house was clean and there was no noise outside. The rooms were big enough with plenty of space to store your clothes. The house is 10 minutes walking distance from the Lidl (which is great!). You do have to walk pass the road, though.

When we entered the house there was still some smelly garbage left from the previous tenants.The kitchen was missing clots to dry the dishes. When I told the owner he said he may have forgotten it, but didn't come up with a proper solution. The wifi was working, but very slowly, so we used our own mobile data. In addition, the sleeping couch in the living room wasn't very comfortable to sleep in. Also, when I removed the blanket from the couch, I found some sand on it. Lastly, the door to the balcony wasn't closing (the owner told us that the area was safe, so that made us a little bit feeling ok about it) A tip for the owner is to at least have 1 roll of toilet paper in the bath room. We entered the house quite late with 5 people and there was hardly enough paper for us until the next day.
