It's been a long time since we've been back to Lake Mac and staying at the Cliff House was fabulous. Great location, great communication with the hosts. So nice to sit out on the deck and enjoy the views and light breeze cooling us off afternoon a fun day on the lake. We'll be back!

The Cliff House is just the best blend of solitude and lake fun in the most beautiful setting! The owners are very responsive and quick to reply to questions and concerns and the property is always so clean. The views off the deck are stunning and soul soothing. This was our third stay at this house and we hope to return soon.

We've stayed here multiiple times and are always very happy with the location. Close to everything but very quiet and beautiful. a perfect spot for a family reunion!

A clean and comfortable house, with a fully stocked kitchen. Beautiful view of the lake from the deck/yard. The drink refrigerator on the deck is an added bonus. Easy access with generous parking (boat parking friendly). A game room in the basement for all ages. Great communication with the owner!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cliff House! Everything we hoped for and more! Lots of room inside and out, clean comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms were clean and had everything you need! I’d recommend to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy the lake!

We use VRBO frequently -- throughout the US and internationally -- and this property is absolutely the best overall experience. Communication with the owner is excellent, the location is spectacular, the house is always immaculate when we arrive and there is so much to do on site. Staying at the Cliff House is an amazing experience!

We have stayed at this property before and looked forward to staying here again. There is so much space with enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us as well as a spacious basement with air hockey, pool, ping pong & darts. There is also a great movie-watching area that we have not used but it is nice that it is available. We have found that this is one of the better stocked kitchens in houses we have rented, with all kinds of pans, baking/casserole dishes, and spices and supplies for cooking and baking. We will definitely stay here again!

This house has everything you could possibly need during your stay. The views of the lake are beautiful! Owners are very attentive and easy to communicate with. We thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay!

What a great relaxing time. The view, the comforta and spaciousness of the property made it easy to relax. We would definitely go back again. Ogallala Beach had lots of flies but one day we went to the north shore of lake and it was wonderful as always. This was our first time staying on south side and we really enjoyed the peaceful beautiful setting!!

With our daughters living in Colorado and us living in Omaha, Ogallala is about the half-way point, perfect for all of us to meet for a long holiday weekend. All of us loved this house! With four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, we all had our own space. The house was very clean and felt more like a home than a typical VRBO stay. Of the VRBO houses we have stayed at, this house had the best stocked kitchen and everything else was well stocked too. The house is out in the country in a peaceful, beautiful location with an amazing view of rolling hills, plateaus and valleys and Lake McConaughy. The back yard was well lit at night, so even though it was hot on the days we were there, we could play our outdoor games in the dusk and after dark. The kitchen chairs were comfortable for meals and all of our board game playing. And the basement offered the bigger games like pool, ping pong, darts and air hockey. The owners were great at communicating before our arrival, and while we were there even texted us what time the moon would come up so we could be ready to watch. The house is just a few miles from town so it is handy when having to run in for groceries. This place really is a gem and we will be back!

We've stayed at the Cliff House for 3 years now, and we absolutely love it. Candice & Jerry are great hosts, and very communicative. The location is perfect for us as we like being more private and secluded. Our 2 families have come with our kiddos and have so many wonderful memories there. This year the kids bailed on us, but we still had a great time! Love playing horseshoes and pool, and enjoying the epic views off the back deck. Thanks to the Snow's, this is our families new favorite spot for our Lake Mac vacation!

This was our second stay at this cabin with our kids and grandkids. The deck views and close proximity to Lake McConaughy are our favorite part. This cabin fits our family perfectly with its 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms. The basement ping pong table, pool table, darts & air hockey provide plenty of entertainment. We will definitely be booking another stay next summer.

We will always remember the solitude at the cliff house. Amenities were plentiful and everybody had privacy and space. This place was super clean and definitely the best stay we’ve ever had.

We have been coming to the lake for years and stayed in several places - this is by far our favorite. The location is amazing and we want for nothing while we are there. Really appreciate that we can bring our dogs and they always have the best time! Can't thank you enough for sharing this home with us.

This property was by far the cleanest nicest home that we've stayed in at Lake. Our family been coming to the lake for 30 years. The home had everything that you need and more. The view is absolutely Spectacular! I highly recommend this home.

Overall - great place, view excellent, love all the spices, paperware, tin foil (as i forgot to bring), love that basic spices etc were there. Loved avaable movies, books, basement games. Very comfortable home and great deck outdoor area. Loved the privacy. Disappointed on firepit as it is very close to house and told we couldnt use it as too dry?? Yard was great green grass and i though area around was nicely green - so not sure when it is allowable to use it. My only other suggestion would be to upgrade to a keurig coffee maker.

We love the Cliff House! This was pur third year staying here. The location is great. Only about a 5 minute drive to the lake. The views from the house are amazing! I could sit on the back deck all day long. Jerry was ver accommodating and easy to work with.

We stayed for a family gathering atLake McConaughey in mid September 2022. This home was perfect for our family as it has plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and sweet game room. The view of Lake McConaughey off the back deck is exceptional! The kitchen & fridge were well stocked with all the cooking essentials we needed including spices, seasonings, coffee, creamer, filters & condiments. The game room was an unexpected bonus where our little ones and adults had a fun time with air hockey, ping pong, billiards & cricket. The location was perfect for our event at the lake. We will definitely return here for future family events.

It was wonderful to have all my kids, spouses, and grandchildren together. The home was set up perfectly to enjoy family time for all the ages. Weather was beautiful, so we spent lots of time on the lake, but there were plenty of things to keep entertained if the weather would have been rainy.
