Enjoyed our stay

The house is close to family who stay in the Villages.

As always, we enjoyed our stay there. It is a great place and we are planning to rent again in MayJust one thing, the sink in the Guest Bathroom does not drain well.Suggest you look at that Again, Thanks. Ray

Very well maintained. Very spacious. And extremely cost friendly.

First I would like to say that I screwed up. My Father had just passed away when I made the reservation, and I, under duress as you can imagine, made an error in stating the number of guests coming in for the funeral. I would have gladly paid for the difference, but I was never given the chance. The owner immediately contacted VRBO and claimed that we “trashed the house, used ALL the dishes, used every bed, and every towel.” She then charged my credit card for $370 for “damages.” What damages? Nothing! They would have had to do a couple extra loads of laundry. $370!! Unbelievable! She even claimed that we “Left the freezer open, which frosted up and had to be thawed.” Impossible. All modern freezers are frost-free, and was open, at the maximum, of 2 hours. Like I say,Impossible. She was just having a temper tantrum at our expense a day after the funeral, of which she was aware. How cold. The bottom line is this, no matter what she says. We arrived, Wednesday evening. The house was in a good location, was clean, and well appointed. No problems at all. We enjoyed our stay (as much as you could under the circumstances) and we left the house Saturday morning. We followed the checkout process by washing the dishes (leaving them in the dishwasher,) stripping the beds, and putting all linens and towels in the laundry room. I thought all was fine until I was notified by email from VRBO that I was charged $370, not a call from the owner, as per the VRBO policy. VRBO Refunded.
