Great cabin and a great view! short drive to town and Saddleback mountain! We really enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back soon!

We had a great time! The view was incredible and the cabin had everything we needed! Plenty of room! Our teenage boys loved cliff jumping at several different waterfalls!

Second time at this property. Love it here. The covered porch with the great view of the lake is an added bonus. Great space and plenty of windows to open to get the breeze to come through. Spent multiple afternoons/evenings on the porch with the gorgeous sunset and the view of the lake. Place was spotless when we arrived. Will be back again !!

We've stayed in Rangeley before but this was our first stay at Cabin with a View. Everything, from requesting the rental to driving away when we were done, was perfect. We had all of the information we needed before having to ask for it. The cabin was SO CLEAN! Like, not a speck of dust or crumb in sight! That alone made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. The cabin had most essentials, though it could certainly use some wine glasses and some kid sized glasses/plastic cups. There were only coffee mugs and pint glasses. And, a few throw blankets so you could cozy up on the porch would be nice! Otherwise, we were right at home. We saw deer right out the window grazing through the lupines, eagles fly right by the deck, and other critters while in the area. We love Rangeley, and highly recommend the cabin! As do our four legged "kids" that were also allowed there!!

Great spot, obviously the view….visiting deer everyday! Really like the 4 twin beds room, great for large group. Needs more glassware, at least some wine glasses. That's it, great spot, convenient to everything, tons of room, fabulous view, will stay again. Oh, must say the crew at Morton & Furbish are the best!

You won't go wrong staying at cabin with a view. This is my fifth stay and it won't be my last. The cabin is always clean and the kitchen is equipped with basic amenities but you will want to bring anything specific you'll need. The walkout basement is a great place to spend nights watching a movie with the gas stove and there is more then enough room for everyone. My favorite place is on the porch, watching the sunset, the deer walk through the yard or just taking in the view of Rangeley lake, you can spend your entire trip out there. My only negative feedback would be about the beds. All 6 are very old and incredibly loud while sleeping. The mattresses are adequate but the frames are not the best. Having known this from last time, we spent the first hour or so of our visit removing the bed frames and placing the mattresses directly on the floor so we could actually sleep through the night (we put it all back together before checkout) so if you are a light sleeper, plan accordingly. I would still recommend Cabin with a View and can't wait to go back!

Stay away! At least during the times we want this house. The pictures don’t do it justice. It was lovely inside and a beautiful location. We all thought it was perfect….except perhaps a better grill might be in order. Other than that…five stars for sure.

We stayed at Cabin With A View, and it lives up to its name! Beautiful views from every room. Plenty of windows offering great light, yet cozy and warm. Beautifully appointed with quality and comfortable furniture and nicely decorated. Plenty of common space. Notes: If you're staying in winter, bring comforter or wool blanket - beds have medium weight cotton blankets/sheets only. NO WINE GLASSES?! Not a deal breaker, but was pretty surprising. Bathrooms are on 1st and ground floors, so if you're a middle of the night visitor, plan your sleeping arrangements accordingly! Not insulated so save your private conversations for your walk or the chairlift!! Morton Furbish was very responsive to call for plowing service. We arrived shortly after snowfall with very low temps, so driveway (steep!) needed some attention. Really liked this spot - we will be back!

The cabin had plenty of room for our family of 7. The view was great and the location was convenient.

Great cabin, amazing views! This cabin had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Morton and Furbish were very responsive, our coffee maker broke our first morning there and they promptly brought us a new one. Great service!

Beautiful cabin with a beautiful view! It was the perfect place to bring the family. I grow up going to Rangeley with my family and this was my husband and children's first time, and everything was perfect.

Absolutely gorgeous cabin and surroundings! Couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and restoring experience. The views are incredible and the cabin is central to all the activities Rangeley has to offer.

House was beautiful and suited our group perfectly. We had 7 guys in our group and with an air mattress (we brought) in the basement we all had plenty of room. The two bathrooms and showers were a huge bonus. The back porch overlooking Rangeley Lake was awesome. We listened to the Loons on the lake morning and night and had deer in the abutting field each day. Cabin was very clean and there was plenty of room for everyone. There was a second living area in the basement which was very comfortable on the hot days we were there. There is no air conditioning, but I will say that the air moving throught the cabin kept it cool at night and we all slept very well. The trip was an ATV trip and although we were not able to leave from the house directly ( association did not want ATV's riding in the neighborhood) the trip to a parking area was very short and easily accessed. We left from Depot Street Parking which you are able to ride into town for fuel and such, although the trails were not great leaving town. Very rocky and dusty when we went. We also left from Rev it Up sports which is south of town and you can also get fuel there. Trails towards Coos Canyon were great just make sure you fuel up before you leave as no fuel on the trail. Dealing with the folks at Morton & Furbish Vacation Rentals was nothing short of outstanding. They were so accomodating and understanding of our groups needs and could not have been easier to work with. I would highly recommend using them to book your stay in Rangeley Lake region as opposed to the big short term rental apps. They are responsive and super sweet to deal with. I truly cannot say enough good about the cabin or my experience with dealing with the folks at Morton & Furbish. I will defintely be returning.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The view and the outdoors was breathtaking. We had an amazing vacation and this spot accommodated our big family and our fur baby. Definitely planning on going back.

The cabin lived up to its name, and had a lovely view of the area. Cabin was cozy, however the beds were quite loud. It had all the amenities you'd want, however the kitchen stove was damaged and the downstairs gas stove didn't work. All-in-all, the cabin was very comfortable and clean, and we really enjoyed our time this year!

Loved this cabin!! They did provide 2 small fans which was nice I would not have brought my own if I had known Also there are 4 chairs on the deck and 4 chairs by the fire pit. No need to pack extra chairs!! We had 5 teenagers with us and there was plenty of room Great views excellent location close town. Will book this cabin again !!!!

very nice home-well equipped -excellent throughout—TV device, washer/dryer & wifi is great as i taught my summer school class from the deck each morning after fishing the lake. My girlfriend of 25 years and I even got married in Rangeley on July 16th. Deer are everywhere by the house. The Rental Agency is awesome. if there were any negatives- they are minor like road noise from rte 4– I'd stay again in a heartbeat

We really enjoyed our stay! We are a family of four - we had plenty of space. Such a great area in Maine - we enjoyed playing outside and returning to the cozy cabin. The kitchen was well equipped. Everything was clean and comfortable. We all agreed that we hope to stay there again.

This cabin is lovely & the view is outstanding! A couple points that could use clarification in the listing: 1) There is no bathroom on the 2nd floor (where 2 of the 3 bedrooms are). Instead, it’s located in the basement. Not a horrible issue, but certainly not ideal. 2) The Wifi is dreadfully slow. We disconnected from it and relied on 3G/LTE most of the time. 3) The photos & description don’t accurately reflect that Route 4 runs by little more than 100 yards away just out of view at the end of the property. Again, not awful - but we were not expecting to hear cars and/or logging trucks driving by while trying to enjoy coffee and the view in the mornings. Thankfully, the sound was not loud enough to really keep anyone awake at night. Aside from these things, this was a beautiful property still worthy of 4-5 stars. We also really enjoyed watching the geese & deer enjoying the apple tree in the yard.

Great stay again for our fourth year in a row. We will be back!

Cabin with a view was one of our all time best cabin rentals in Maine and New Hampshire. The view was better than expected. The home was spotless and the beds amazing. Slept like a rock. Trail access is great and a nice area to walk the dog around with no traffic. Thanks Sara and Melinda at M&F are the best.

This home is ideal if you enjoy privacy with a view. Ample room. The main floor has an open concept with one bedroom and the main bathroom. Down a flight of stairs another living space with couch, chair another full bathroom, washer dryer and outside access to the fire pit. Top floor 2 bedrooms: one bedroom is set up with 4 twin beds and a crib and the second bedroom with a full bed. The home is pleasantly decorated and very rustic. Nearby you have lake access. Activities near or around the town: hiking trails and if you enjoy water activity there are boat rentals.

Fantastic view, house was clean and very close to downtown and the beach park. Very child friendly for our 2 and 5 year olds. My two year old didn't want to leave, great place to stay in Rangeley.

We had a wonderful stay at "Cabin with a View". The title says it all because the view was magnificent. We enjoyed mornings having our coffee/tea just staring out over the lake and mountains. Morton and Furbish were excellent to deal with and very responsive whenever we had a question. The main floor shower faucet leaked and they came right over that day to address it. The only negative is there are no closets to hang your clothes or put away suitcases. Very convenient to the local IGA though and not far from town. The house was very welcoming and I would highly recommend.

The views of Rangeley Lake are spectacular from this cabin! Whether you are rocking on the porch, sitting in the living room or waking up in your bedroom, the calming views of the lake will bring tranquility to your vacation! The house is very well maintained and very accessible from Route 4/Main St.
