We loved the cabin! It was plenty roomy and nicely decorated. Easily accessible from highway 83. Plenty of bathrooms and beds. Large dining room table and comfortable couches in the living room. Nice sized kitchen, washing machine and dryer were a great bonus. Great experience.

Beautiful Log home!!! Very peaceful with lots of hiking and fishing all around.

A comfortable, cozy cabin to return to after long days on trails in the Mission Swan Wilderness.

Is great place for friends and family to gather, i grew up here and love coming back to see old friends.

Many positives about this place- woodsy location, nicely constructed log cabin, large upstairs common space, pool table, and communicative owner. However, we found several drawbacks- main floor bathroom had a non-functioning shower (no handle) and only very hot water from the sink tap; mouse droppings everywhere; not very clean generally; a bad smell in the basement; and were told to bring our own drinking and cooking water. If these and some other items were addressed, it would be a more acceptable place to stay.

The cabin was exactly as described in word and photos. It was very spacious for the nine of us and the furniture was comfortable in all rooms. I loved waking up to the large windows in the living room and seeing deer each morning and being in the woods. It was quiet and serene. We drove to Holland Lake both days we were there and enjoyed the hike to the falls and the beautiful vista at the top of the lake and the Mission Mountains. The day use area was fun for all of us and the scenery beautiful! John was a great host in answering questions. I want to come back as soon as I can!

We stayed here for a family trip. John was very responsive to issues that we had while staying here. We did have problems with the main floor tub which was an issue for my mother since she could not use stairs well, but John was great. He tried everything to help the situation. Deer were often around while we were outside. The house is older but very welcoming and warm. Most cooking items and utensils were available. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful cabin inside and out. Property owner was great with communicating back and forth and answered any questions I had. Lots of beautiful places to visit while staying there.

The perfect cabin and location for a family vacation. A we’ll stocked and decorated real log cabin. Our host was
Great, even though we had a problem
Mid week, he did all he could to solve the issue. He was very supportive and
Communicated easily and quickly.

Location was easy to find and check in was a breeze. Accommodations were what we expected. The basement area was definitely cooler than the main level but comfortable with fans. We found the griddle on the stove a day late (we made pancakes in the skillet) but the appliances worked great, except the coffee maker. After an hour, we still didnt have a full pot of brewed coffee. Beds are comfortable and towels plentiful. We did do some laundry to keep up. Cooking outdoors on the firepit was a fun experience enjoyed by all. The family enjoyed exploring the area and playing pool in evening. John was great at communicating and the house cleaner Felicia was a big help! I will not hesitate to book this location again when we next visit the area.

We loved our stay here. Deer in the yard every morning. True seclusion away from the tourist centers where the mountains can truely be enjoyed.

The road was plowed, plenty of parking for two big enclosed snowmobile trailers. The beds were comfortable, and the pool table was awesome. The kitchen was well stocked. Thanks for letting us stay!

Everything listed by the owner and all prior positive comments are absolutely great and simply true. We were three 70+ age couples who frequently vacation together… road trips, destination stays, cruises, etc.
We stayed a week, with daily deer forays up to the house, a couple of bear sightings also close to the house, etc.
We did a day trip east-to-west through Glacier National Park on the “Going-to-the-Sun” road (fantastic!), but we mostly just enjoyed the quietness and solitude of the cabin and the adjacent Bob Marshall Wilderness Area.
The cabin is outstanding! The host (John) handled all things in a great, professional manner… and the caretaker (Felecia) was nothing short of perfection… friendly, helpful, and always handy for any questions. An added gem to a great stay.
In our travels over the last ten years or so, we’ve seldom returned to a specific spot.
Having said that, would we return to the Elk Antler Lodge Cabin? You bet, any season of the year!

My family of four (youngest of 17) stayed here for a week. Ample room to spread out. Very comfortable and relaxing setting. The pool table was a plus. I now find myself looking out my kitchen window at home trying to find the snow capped mountains like I would see every morning making coffee here. It was also great to watch the hummingbirds on the columbine plants and deer in the yard. It is a bit of a drive (which I knew when I booked it) to get to Glacier but not horrible either. If your looking for a remote, relaxing setting to take your family to I would recommend giving this cabin some serious consideration.

Great place for our family. Kids could play inside & outside. Host was easy to get in touch with & answered questions quickly. The home had everything we needed, seasoning, which was so helpful that we didn’t have to buy it then leave it. Overall, great place & would stay there again when we come back in town.

The cabin was perfect for our family (3 couples) for a wedding weekend. The beds are comfy, the location beautiful,. The five bedrooms make it ideal for large family groups. There's a pool table, lots of board games and books and DVDs for indoor entertainment. The location is rather remote, so do your grocery shopping in town before heading up or down Swan Valley.

The cabin is beautiful. We have really enjoyed our time here. The kids especially liked the frog they found in the downstairs bathroom and the deer peeking in the living room window. Was kind of disappointed with the over grown back yard. Would love to rent again in the future.
Your cabin is beautiful. We have really enjoyed our time here. The kids especially liked the frog they found in the downstairs bathroom and the deer peeking in the living room window. Was kind of disappointed with the over grown back yard. Not sure if you up keep yourself or if you hire, but the oven and the out door grill are both pretty nasty. Sent pics so you would no it wasn't us. Also the bathroom with the blue toilet, the shower leaks, probably playing havoc on the water bill.
Thank you for letting us enjoy your home. Would love to rent again in the future.

P.S. the grandkids named the frog Conan and let him loose in the backyard. Some small issues, oven and bbq were pretty dirty. Bring your own lawn chairs. The ones there are cracked and broken. But over all it’s a beautiful place.

It accommodated our family of 12 very well. Clean and well maintained. We had deer visit us daily. The pool table was a hit for not only kids but adults also. Would go back again and highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful time here. It was perfectly located for a couple of days of paddle boarding and hiking as well as a relatively short drive over to spend the day in the park. We were quite comfy and able to cook in a super well stocked kitchen and use the grill. We can’t wait to use this location again.

Overall great place, especially for the price.
The neighbor must not like dust from the road because the first day we arrived he made dirt speed bumps in the gravel road, which i had to drive around in the brush and weeds because he made them so high, this was not a great first impression.

Wonderful stay in quiet Condon Montana
The cabin was spacious and comfortable for our family trip. We traveled with our two children (7 & 9) and parents (70 & 78). Three generations of people had plenty of space in the cabin. The kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from the living room. We did plenty of day trips to Glacier NP, Kalispell, and the local hiking was fabulous too. The weather wasn't great during our stay, so it was nice to have a cozy cabin to return to in the afternoons. We hope to return in the future.

Beautiful location
Great place that had plenty of room for our large family. Close to some amazing lakes and not for from Glacier. Hosts were accurate in their listing.

Good stay
This is a very beautiful place and overall was a good place to stay. My only suggestion would be to have extra trash bags in the kitchen and some tin foil.. other than that is was beautiful!

Backwoods Cabin
Loved that this place was remote and rustic! Turkeys and deer went through the yard daily and the cabin is fully stocked with almost everything that you need. Just what we wanted!

Beautiful Rustic Cabin
This was a magical place to spend Christmas with the family! With games, a crackling fire, and constant light snowfall it couldn’t have been a better getaway! No cell reception for Verizon but the internet works great! We had a great time sledding with the kids right from the house as well!

This is a great property to get away from everything. It is literally in the middle of nowhere. Cell service is limited, which for our group was a good thing. We had morning turkeys walking through the property and evening deer around the property. Few issues with the property: The pool table had a several broken sticks, which made it harder to play, and the light was not directly over the table which was also a bit of a challenge. We did have a leak in the basement which John addressed as quickly as possible which caused some inconvience for our group. Overall it was a great property and a place to get away from everything. Most tourist attractions are about 1-2 hrs away. So, be ready to drive....Thanks John for sharing your house. It was great place to get away.Ben
