Beautiful inn in a wonderful setting. The farm is beautiful and the lake is nearby. Delicious dinner was prepared for us.

Three sisters and their families (youngest of the group was 22) from MA, ME, and NY. 11 people total. We’ve had a rough year, losing our dad this past winter. Wanted some time to regroup and enjoy another’s company. My family vacations often and we all agreed that it was the cleanest place we've ever stayed. Absolutely beautiful home, gorgeous kitchen, comfortable rooms and private bathrooms. Huge table by the window, used constantly for meals, impromptu card games, drawing, or whole group evening board games. The farm was a beautiful place to walk, the porch was a perfect place to sit and read. Idyllic all around. We were lucky enough to have Chef Tami prepare us dinner one evening and it was the best decision ever. Relaxing, casual, delicious, and we didn't have to do a thing- all for a price comparable to a nice dinner out. We rebooked for next year before we even left. Not one bad thing to say. Thanks to everyone at the farm, our family needed this so badly!

We can not be more impressed with all the facilities at White Gate Farm. It starts with the staff, they’re all absolutely wonderful and helpful every step of the way. The space is perfectly clean, and so cozy on a warm or cold day (we got both). The fireplace is AMAZING. Everyone was just so happy with their experience here. We will definitely be back! P.S. Order some food from the farm! It’s out of this world!

Our family of 12 stayed at White Gate for a long weekend. It was very comfortable, lovely bedrooms for sleeping peacefully and a fabulous kitchen . The pool was great for evening swims and the fireplace was amazing. The farm stand was a huge hit with prepared food, beautiful vegetables, yummy desserts and the animals to visit / hiking trails / lake for swimming, fishing, paddle boarding/ and grounds for games and equipment for games. The manager Kevin, was very helpful and always available. Our family is hoping to go again next year. White Gate farm Inn is special.

We had a wonderful time and the rooms were perfect for us - everyone had their own space and the large living room/dining room was an amazing gathering space for all 12 of us. Everything we needed was there and Kevin is fantastic - he made sure we were comfortable at all times. My only regret is not having the chef prepare us a dinner - we tasted the pizza in the farm store and it was the best we have ever had!!! Pauline and David are lovely and I highly recommend a stay at this beautiful inn.

The inn and farm grounds are just beautiful. The staff were so accommodating and went well beyond what is normally expected when renting a property. The inn felt more like a home that a rental. The kitchen was so well appointed as were the rooms. Moving on to the outdoors the lake, pool fire pit, games, grill and picnic tables added up to a wonderful stay. Last but not least the staff were amazing, Tami, Kevin & Pauline - always at the ready. Always answered text messages promptly and did everything to make it the perfect wedding. Many thanks!

The property was perfect for our annual family get together. Most of the time was spent in the pool area, which felt very safe and comfortable. It was fenced in all around, and the pool house included a bathroom, outdoor shower, refrig, and sink. The house itself provided lots of spaces to hang out, a very well supplied kitchen, and a large dining table that sat all 14 of us. Around the farm the kids enjoyed seeing the animals and the tractors. Kevin, the property manager, was very helpful when we arrived, helped us to settle in. We loved everything about the property and would consider going back again next year.

Perfect venue for a weekend family gathering and bday celebration. Inn offered everything we needed coupled with the amazing Farm Stand and Farm to Table meals. Owners and staff were warm and helpful. Beautiful surrounding and fun for multiple ages. THANK YOU!

We had a magical time at White Gate Farm celebrating our mother's 80th birthday. There was something for everyone in the group at the farm (fishing, pool time, visiting the animals, stargazing at night, s'mores at the fire pit--the list goes on!). We were lucky enough to have our stay occur at the same time as a meteor shower, and were treated to quite a show on our first night. Despite being remote enough to view the stars, you're still very close to town (a quick 5 minute drive) to get all the supplies you need to take advantage of the gorgeous kitchen for family dinners. Everyone we interacted with was lovely and the atmosphere of the farm was so calm and relaxing. Kevin was so helpful in orienting us to the farmhouse and was available for any questions we had during our stay.

Our large family very much enjoyed the location and hospitality provided at White Gate Farm. Pauline, the host, was always responsive to emails in the year leading up to our visit and Kevin, the onsite manager, was friendly and incredibly helpful from the moment of arrival through our departure. The facility was so beautiful, peaceful, and provided exactly what we needed for the family reunion. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Beautiful, well kept organic farm with plenty of property to explore. When not in the swimming pool , the lake was a big plus for the kids. Boating, paddle board, swimming. The farmhouse is spacious with room for privacy or gathering. We cooked gourmet meals in the well appointed kitchen. Would recommend White Gate Farm for any gathering.

We just ended our weeklong stay at White Gate Farm, and I can't even begin to explain how much fun we had at this fantastic location. Kevin was there from start to finish, and was great helping with everything, including a fun critter tour for my three young grandchildren. We enjoy the house (fully equipped for our large group), the pool and surrounding area, including a delicious lobster boil dinner made and served in the pool area. Having a kitchen there was a bonus! We've been doing our annual family vacations since 1995, and this one ranks among the best! I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to meet Pauline, but Kevin took great care of us. We hope to get back to White Gate Farm again for another family trip!

It was a rainy weekend. Regardless we went for walks and swam in the pool and lake between showers, thoroughly enjoyed the property, the wonderful shop, and the fact that museums, the shoreline and shopping were so close by. There was something for everyone. It will long be remembered as a very special time.

We've just returned from a fabulous stay at the White Gate farm. We happened upon this gem of a place after a last-minute change to our original plans, and the owner Pauline and onsite manager Kevin were so helpful in accommodating our large group on short notice. As three families with young children ranging from ages 2 through 8, we couldn't have asked for a better getaway. The farmhouse itself was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped, and it easily accommodated all 11 of us with room to spare. We felt right at home. Beyond the lovely interior, we took full advantage of the countless outdoor amenities. There was a lovely gated pool, with diving board and a full-service pool house (incl. wifi). There were big, well-maintained front- and backyard lawns (badminton, cornhole, and boules were onsite), hiking trails, an entire lake within walking distance with both kid and adult kayaks, SUPs and lifejackets all provided; and then, there were the benefits of the bustling farm. The onsite farmstand rivals farmer's market offerings that we know from our hometowns in Boston, NYC, and DC with fresh produce, meat, baked goods, and more. Farm-to-table meals were literally within arm's reach. We even got to experience a drum circle group lesson with Kevin. Clearly, we're enamored and share this enthusiastic review with appreciation for the hosts' cultivation of this special place.

It was an amazing experience and we felt very lucky to stay at this special place. The Inn was lovely! We enjoyed walking the grounds and seeing the plantings and the chickens and the sheep! The farmers market on Saturday had such great options...the wood fired pizza is a must! Pauline and Keven are lovely hosts. Pauline was great to deal with and so kind! Kevin is the care taker and helped us with many things! I highly recommend this amazing place!!

Our stay at the inn at White Gate Farm was very relaxing and fun. Four adults, 3 teenagers and my mini Goldendoodle had ample room for privacy and socialization. The home is very clean and everything is well stocked. Kevin, inn manager, is very helpful. The farm tour was nice too. My kids played badminton every day. One of my kids has severe food allergies and he did well in the home. We purchased some entrees, desserts, produce and eggs from the farmers market as well. One suggestion is to add a separate washer and dryer to inn. Thank you Pauline!

We can’t recommend White Gate Farm enough - we rented the inn house for a special long weekend celebration w family and friends. The house is beautiful and clean; the kitchen amazing; the grounds beautiful; the staff truly welcoming and wonderful; the kids loved the farm animals, lawn games, pool and kayaking in the lake. We lucked out and we’re there for two of their community dinner events which were delicious and relaxed. Ordered from the farm shop and they stocked the fridge wi try our purchases. And had a special family style feast prepared by chef Tami for our special celebration. Truly from start to finish an unforgettable experience.

We booked the farmhouse inn for my family to stay at for our wedding weekend in September 2022 and we couldn't have asked for a better more accommodating stay. Between the beautiful grounds, farmstand, comfortable and stylish bedrooms, common rooms, kitchen, pool / poolhouse, and incredibly friendly, responsive, and helpful inn manager, Kevin, we cannot wait to book the farmhouse again for our next family reunion. We didn’t want to leave…the Inn at White Gate Farm was a perfect vacation for our family. The Inn has 7 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms - there was plenty of room for the 10 family members who stayed. The huge kitchen was perfect for our cooking needs and the living room/dining room fit us all plus other family members who came for a day. And that is just inside. The pool was great as was kayaking on the lake. The grounds are beautiful for exploring and the children enjoyed the animals. When we arrived on Saturday we were able to visit the Farm Market and there was a open party with music and food which we thoroughly enjoyed. Kevin greeted us upon our arrival and was on hand throughout. I can’t say enough good things about - it’s a must stay VRBO

From the youngest to the oldest we all found wonderful things to see and do at White Gate Farm.

This property was exactly what we were looking for. Lots of space, nicely spread out, tons of activities for the kids and adults. I traveled with 11 people, including 5 kids between 2 and 8. We ran in the big open yard, swam all day, kayaked at the lake, and enjoyed our time with the property manager, Kevin. The Inn has a classic farm feel, with modern amenities. The kitchen was perfect for the many meals we made together, and we also made good use of the outdoor grill (and pool house kitchen.) As suspected, my kids were more interested in farm animals than they ever would have been at an amusement park, so this choice was perfect. Thank you to all the wonderful people at White Gate Farm for making our stay so enjoyable!

We had such a lovely time at White Gate Farm. The house itself was beautiful, clean, and had such character. The pool was perfect and the lake was convenient and fun to grab a paddle board and get out on the water. We loved walking around the farm seeing all the animals and gardens. Beautiful beaches 10 minutes away! We cannot wait to go back!
