We enjoy the Crescent Sandpiper but was so disappointed that you could no longer see the ocean from the pool. Our location was great, but the condo needs to be updated.

The location and proximity to the beach were wonderful. That being said, the dwelling was pretty outdated. It has the basic amenities as shown in the photos, the a/c works good, but it’s fairly noticeable that furnishings have been there for a number of years. All in all, it’s pretty basic with a great location to the beach/pool.

We chose this house because of how close it seems to the pool and the beach, but found it to be even closer. It is about 10 feet to the gate of the pool, from the sliding doors of this unit. We found the unit to be very comfortable and affordable. Thank you for sharing this gem!

Fantastic location… we have been coming to the Sandpiper for 34 years. The condo is in a great location but the family room furniture needs updating and the rug removed. Hard to sit on the sofa…. Too uncomfortable.

We love this condo. We have been here 2 years in a row. We love the location. We love it being on the bottom floor. With our son being disabled it is truly a blessing to have this available on the bottom floor. Alot easier and convenient for us to be able to let him enjoy it too whole he can! We will be back!

We stay at Sandpiper or Coquina next door every summer with our family and we have stayed in several units. We love the ground level units and that sandpiper units usually have a washer in unit, that’s a big plus! We always love our stay here. Great location and we always have a blast! This was a nice unit… well maintained and stocked… right by pool and AC worked great too!

A bit outdated, but great location within the complex and not the usual stairs that the upper units have. Poorly managed by Vacasa; not properly cleaned and no communication related to a water shut-off and boil water notice, which occurred during the last 3.5 days of our stay.

The unit needs a through cleaning. The floors and carpet were dirty and had not been cleaned. The view is great. The sleeping arrangements are great and being a 1st floor unit is great.

The proximity to the pool and beach were key elements that we loved from the first floor condo. We also enjoyed the parking lot access to this unit. It met our needs for the two of us except for the furniture that needs updating and more comfort as it was hard to get out of the sofa and chairs. We were disappointed that the WiFi and Internet did not work all week even though passwords were provided. We contacted services about the issues with the WiFi but couldn’t get resolution in the time we were there.
But we did like the location on Crescent Beach, loved the pool and watching turtles work on their nests!

116 is our favorite unit in the complex. It needs some updating though. Couch and the chair with the ottoman are dirty and worn. I have been complaining about the filthy living room rug for over a year and no one is listening. Yet this unit goes up in price at about 10% every year. May rent something else next year.

We rent this condo every year. It is steps from the pool and well furnished in the kitchen and living areas. We have an elderly Mom of 86 so we need a ground floor that's accessible and comfortable. Love the large TV that makes for some great movie nights. Only one complaint, change out that nasty dirty living room rug! That keeps the place from being perfect!

Location was great for pool and beach access. Beds were good and showers updated. Plenty of kitchen items to be able to cook and clean up. Kitchen and living room are a little dated with soft surfaces in living room may need to be replaced. Clean unit overall.

Loved the amenities. But the place was FILTHY. Not one thing in the entire unit was clean. We had to wash everything in the kitchen before we used it. The tile floor was black with dirt. The rug in the living room was atrocious. The bathrooms had mold in them. So sorry.

6th summer vacation in this condo
We love Crescent Sandpiper 116. We’ve stayed here for years. The condo is in a perfect location. There are a few details that need some attention. The vertical blinds need repair in the master bedroom. The rug in the living room needs a deep clean, and the couch needs some help. Even with a few things needing some attention, we love this condo and complex.

Great family beach time
I chose this property because i realllly needed some stress relief and could envision the easy walk with the littles to the pool and beach from this main level condo. It was so great! Literally like 10 steps to the pool. Another maybe 15 steps from pool to beach.
Restaurants and grocery are about 10 mins away. We celebrated two birthdays during our stay and found a great dinosaur cake at Winn Dixie.
We love to walk the beach and find shells and shark teeth. We did find a few close by, but had read about Matanzas Inlet and were thrilled to discover it is about a 30 minute walk on the beach. Fort Matanzas is there and normally you can park and ride a ferry to visit the avtual fort but it was shut down due to the pandemic. However, the inlet was very neat to visit with lots of shells and calm waters to swim.
The room itself was also very nice. Renovated with tile shower in main bedroom with a had sprayer which helped with our littles. The beds, couch and chairs were all very comfortable and kitchen was well appointed. Prior visitors had left some beach chairs and things and we added a few things to the collection (sand toys, an umbrella).
The only things that may have been not perfect were a couple things that needed repair (to the doors) but we were able to enjoy our trip without them. It was hard to reach anyone, i believe, due to covid. I hope to stay again and next time i would be sure to bring more toilet paper, paper towels, a few more dish and laundry detergents, maybe a few more trash bags (a few are provided). Do not buy/bring coffee filters as there are plenty. Well appointed, comfortable, great location.

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo. It was well stocked with towels, including beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella, coffee filters, etc. Beds and furniture were all comfortable. It was clean and had a great view of the ocean. Even though it was a ground floor unit you could still see and hear the ocean. It was perfect. It's about 25 min from downtown St. Augustine We absolutely loved our stay at this condo. It was well stocked with towels, including beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella, coffee filters, etc. Beds and furniture were all comfortable as well. It was clean and had a great view of the ocean. Even though it was a ground floor unit you could still see and hear the ocean. It was perfect. It's about 25 min from downtown St. Augustine down A1A. The pool was just steps from the back door of the condo and the beach is within a 3-minute walking distance through the pool area. We will absolutely book here again if we return to this area. Plenty of great restaurants and activities to do within 25 minutes of the condo. We had a great Vacation!!

It's nice!
This met our needs and was in a nice location. We loved the easy beach access, peace and quiet, resident tortoise, and the pool was very clean. We were there in September. The home was nice, but nothing fancy. For example, the bathrooms could use a little love and attention, especially the one that is not in the master bedroom. But it was great to have a washer and dryer and first floor access right out to the pool. The kitchen is well stocked with all the bowls, pans, and gadgets you need. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Perfect location!
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful condo! Plenty of space for three of us, and it had everything we needed for a relaxing week. My dad spent a LOT of time sitting on the patio, including several afternoon naps! Everything was clean, and the beds were comfortable. A couple of slats were missing from the vertical blinds in the master bedroom, but a blanket hung over the gaps provided a makeshift solution for that.
We were pleasantly surprised at how close we were to the pool and beach access - the photos really don't do full justice to the proximity. It was literally 10 steps from the edge of the patio to the sidewalk next to the pool gate, and then just a short walk across to the beach access! I did have some privacy concerns beforehand that there might be a lot of foot traffic back and forth in front of the unit, due to the sidewalk - but since the beach access is on the opposite side and there are several gates around the pool area, that was not a problem at all. The pool and the beach were never crowded, the complex was very quiet, and it was easy to get to restaurants and attractions.
We will definitely consider returning here!

Wonderful Family vacation
The Crescent Sandpiper is the perfect oceanfront family getaway. The pool and grounds are pristine and it is only a few steps to the beautiful white sand beach. Unit 116 offers an unobstructed ocean view. The newly renovated kitchen and furnishings are exceptional. We have been coming to the Crescent Sandpiper since the 80's and this is our favorite unit.
