Lakeside property with beautiful views and landscaping - plus loons! Property manager was highly responsive, kind and helpful.

We loved it! There is a lot of space, and many little areas where people can be by themselves: nice when vacationing with teenagers. We rented kayaks from the owners and that worked out really well: the lake is quiet here with lots of wildlife. Note that there is no lake access straight down the lawn but there is a good path to the water next to it. The owners are terrific and nearby. Would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed a week here, skiing at nearby Jay Peak and venturing north for a day trip to Canada!

The house was super clean and ready for our family reunion. town is close by and even has a healthy food store where we could find local organic produce. We got duck eggs at the farmer market (2 times a week). The proximity with the province of Quebec allowed our familly to come down and visit for a few days. We also rented a tandem kayak from our hosts. We had a great time. thanks!

Anyone who has an organized junk drawer for guests has my vote! Yvette made sure we 5 old ladies were settled in and comfortable in her warm well decorated spacious home. A perfect place for our reunion.

This house had everything for a great family vacation! We had plenty of wood for campfires, forks to roast marshmallows, corn hole game, indoor games to play, and it was even stocked with movies. Very clean house and Yvette was a joy to communicate with. We also enjoyed drinking coffee in the morning on the screened in porch and listening to nature.

We had such a wonderful and relaxing time visiting Newport. The farmhouse was charming and comfortable - everything went very smoothly. Thank you so much!

First time renting from VRBO. Not sure what to expect. Was happy to have such a nice place to stay.

We had a wonderful 10 night stay at this property with our crew of 2 adults and 5 children. The view of the south bay of Lake Memphremagog was lovely. The screened in porch protected us from the mosquitos that are typical for this region in summer. The hosts delivered a well-kept property with lots of thoughtful touches, like a high chair and children safety gates for our toddler. Additionally there were board games and streaming channels to keep the kids entertained inside. The kitchen had everything we needed, a ice maker was a great accessory for enjoying cool drinks. The fridge while small compared to our home fridge had plenty of room to keep our week of groceries. Vista was the closest grocery, but there are also a few other options around. We enjoyed the grill when we made steaks a couple nights. We enjoyed the fire pit areas where the hosts provided firewood for our evening outside. Bring or buy insect repellent and use the provided citronella candles to help control the insects. Most nights it was pleasant enough without air conditioning and just fans and opening windows at the right times to bring in the temperate weather. Only one night did I wish the A/C unit was installed. We were in the area to visit family and participate in a memorial service, but we also took a day to show our California kids the coast of Maine and on Friday we checked out the water park at Jay Peak, a fun diversion for 2-3 hours. We would recommend this home and would stay again.

This was our second year staying at this property and it was again a fantastic experience. The home is clean, comfortable and great for families or friends. The property and location are excellent with lake views and access, scenic background and very private. Check in and out is a breeze, we will definitely be returning again!!

Loved the property. Charming, quaint and absolutely lovely. Yvette was helpful and warmly welcoming. Plenty of room and lot’s of places to gather, relax, enjoy sunrises and a great fire pit for evening storytelling! We used it as a base from which to sightsee and explore Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. We stayed around the house quite a bit because it was so beautiful and comfortable. Would go back for a month!

This was everything we had hoped. An old Vermont farmhouse with all the modern amenities. Location was perfect and views beautiful.

We had a wonderful time at the farm house. The large screened in porch was great since we happened to stay during some warm and humid weather. The large yard was great for many games and just relaxing. We didn't have any campfires due to the heat but the fire pit looked inviting. The house is big and has a great kitchen.

Very private and clean farmhouse. It was the perfect spot for a family gathering of outdoor enthusiasts. When we weren't out kayaking, hiking, or biking in the area, we enjoyed yard games that were part of the house amenities. The view of the lake from the screened in porch and outdoor fire pit, were an added bonus. Owner was very helpful in supplying guide books for hikes and paddles. We hope to return when the border to Canada opens to tourists again so we can explore new territory.

Very clean, charming farm house. Nice private lot for outdoor activities. Good location, just 5 minute drive to main part of Newport. Easy excess to the South Bay. Yvette is a great host, always ready to help with any problem. We really enjoyed our stay there.

The house was lovely and clean. There were 6 of us and we all managed to claim our own space to hang out and not be on top of one another. Yvette was very kind and easy to deal with. This rental had everything anyone could possibly want. Perfect summer retreat spot. We all agreed we would stay there again.

Yvette's home was perfect. Country charm with a few modern touches! Very well stocked, spacious... the view was breath taking, beds were comfortable. The newly installed Air-conditioners were nice to have for hot nights! Owner was friendly and available when we needed her assistance. Definitely plan on coming back!!!

Wonderful vacation stay. Everything you would want for a relaxing time. Enough bedrooms & privacy for our crew and very comfortable King bed where we slept. The air conditioner was a nice upgrade over the previous summer. The lake was great for paddle boarding and the view was relaxing. Until the next time...

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the farmhouse. It was spacious, immaculate and everything was just as described. The view and lake access were fabulous! The enormous yard was wonderful for our toddler to run around. We tremendously enjoyed the screened in porch and the fire pit. Yvette couldn't have been a more accommodating hostess. When she learned that the baby gate that she had left for us wasn't working, she dropped off a new one within hours! Thank you for everything!

Lovely winter weekend with the family. Snowshoeing / Skiing / Perfect Conditions at Jay Peak. Plenty of room in the house to spread out and feel like home in the NorthEast Kingdom.

What a lovely home to stay in for such a perfect week. Yvette’s home was so clean and inviting. Everything was perfect! We could not have asked for a more comfortable place to stay at while we enjoyed Newport and the surrounding Northern Kingdom. We kayaked and canoed off of her property. Enjoyed breakfasts and the scenery off her back porch. Biking and hiking in the surrounding area was wonderful. We would come back in a heartbeat! We also wanted to share that Yvette’s efforts to clean the home and keep it especially safe during COVID were noticed and appreciated. We hope to visit again.

This was just the getaway we needed. Though we only live 2.5 hours away we felt like we were in another world. The house is well maintained, clean, surrounded by nature and fully outfitted for guests. Lake access for our canoe was perfect. The owner was an outstanding host. We would come again!

The property is beautiful and perhaps one of the most relaxing stays we have ever had. Could do with a bit more lighting in some of the rooms Yvette was always available, and really helpful in all aspects of the stay. Would definitely stay again
