Cette charmante cabane rénovée de deux étages est située à seulement deux minutes de la station de ski Wisp, ainsi que de diverses attractions que Deep Creek Lake a à offrir. La cuisine est équipée de tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner, ainsi que de beaux plans de travail en granit. La salle à manger attenante peut accueillir au moins six personnes.
Le salon dispose d'une superbe cheminée en pierre rustique avec un insert à bois. Il y a une grande télévision à écran plat et un lecteur DVD, et le canapé moelleux offre un lit double gigogne pour dormir plus.
La confortable chambre principale comprend un lit queen-size, une télévision à écran plat, une grande commode et un dressing spacieux. De plus, il y a une terrasse hors de la suite principale, parfaite pour se détendre. La deuxième chambre comprend un ensemble de lits superposés, ainsi qu'une commode et une table de nuit. Everything was amazing in this cozy rustic stay. We slept comfortably, roasted marshmallows at the fire pit, ate breakfast on the deck, made dinner at the grill, cooked lunch in a well stocked kitchen, played ball in the yard, sat on the hammock, and had great and easy access to the local coffee, ice creamery, diner, souvenir shop, grocery store, boat rental and swimming locations. Host was very generous with early check in and answering a plethora of questions to aid us in packing well and traveling efficiently. Neighbor was great in offering firewood and local tips. Perfect getaway from the busyness of life….our kids are sad we aren’t moving in for good! We hope to stay again for many more visits after this perfect inaugural trip to deep creek.

Great little cabin in the woods. Location was not too far from everything but still private and secluded. The firepit is nice, we had some fun evenings making smores. Hosts were friendly and accommodating.

The owners/hosts of this property are very kind! They put up with me contacting them frequently and were very communicative, and were very kind! The property itself is cute and homey. There was plenty of space for my husband, two children, and myself to stay. The property is close to everything Deep Creek has to offer. The price was very reasonable. I think If I had to find something wrong, the only thing would be like everyone else, the stairs. BUT, as long as you aren't running up and down them or goofing off on them, you are fine. I would highly recommend!

The property was close to Wisp and Deep creek lake. Very convenient for activities in the area. It is tucked away in a wooded area however everything one would need such as restaurants and a grocery store are right down the road.

Great place to stay,. Stairs are a little difficult to carry stuff up and down. Lots of wildlife in the area, a few more than expected.in the house. Area was very peaceful. Great neighbors too.

Super cute cabin. Clean. Soft blankets, good towels. I would say good for 4-5 people tops. Nice outdoor area. Not all the way into Deep Creek but still close enough. Host was super responsive and nice. Would stay again.

We really enjoyed the property. Check in and check out was seamless. Corey was quick with responses to questions. The place was a perfect size for me, my bestie, and her 6 year old son. Very clean and great location. Very quiet.

Not bad but a few things that bothered us. The carpet treads on the stairs are not secured and create a danger for tripping. Very steep staircase. Master bed not very comfortable (too soft) with no night stands for phones or other tech items. This was not very user friendly.

Can’t say enough “good”! The cabin was adorable, the decorative touches were so quaint and “mountainy”! We enjoyed the wood burner, fire pit and deck. Everything was very clean, we brought our two Australian cattle dogs and they LOVED running the property. It was perfect in every way and we would 100% consider renting again. The TV was great with so many apps to choose from and we watched several movies. All in all you can’t go wrong if considering this cabin, we very much appreciate the owners hospitality and making it pet friendly!

This was a great spot to have a get together with friends for a weekend! It was easy to get to, right across from a few different convenient stores & coffee shop & isolated just enough to have privacy & fun! The only issue we experienced was while showering in the second day (we stayed from July 8th to 10th), there was some water that leaked right above the oven. Other than this, it was a perfect spot to catch up with friends & overall have a good and leisurely tim le. I absolutely recommend!

Yet again, we find ourselves relaxed & renewed after a long weekend in McHenry! The cabin is clean, welcoming, peaceful and the perfect getaway. This was our 4th stay here, and we look forward to returning for years to come.

Not happy with rental
Extremely dangerous staircase to upstairs. The advertised TV in the master bedroom would not get a signal and it was unusable. The kitchen was full of smoke just preheating the oven for 10 minutes. We arrived on Friday at 4pm and left Monday by 9am. We weren't suppose to leave until Friday am. Just bad energy here. Wanted to get away after the death of our mom but it wasn't the place for us to rent and we were very disappointed.

Mountain getaway
Peaceful location, great decor, right price. Note that the stairs to the bedrooms are steep. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone who has problems climbing.

Great except for the helicopter
Nice house and location. Everything we needed was there and owner made things easy. Only issue was there is a helicopter that literally flies back and forth, back and forth over the house for several hours each day starting around 9 and it is extremely loud. What a shame as we were hoping for some peace and quiet in the woods. I don’t blame the owners and actually feel quite sorry for the owner and neighbors. Can’t imagine why that’s necessary. Needs to be mentioned though to future renters.

Another relaxing weekend!
Our third stay at Corey's cabin was over the July 4th holiday. In the midst of the hustle and bustle around DCL, we found the cabin to be peaceful and relaxing. We enjoy its proximity to state parks so we can hike. The cabin was clean, rustic, and comfortable. We will (again) be back!

We enjoyed the peaceful setting of the cabin over Thanksgiving weekend. Perfect home base for us to eat, relax and rest after spending our days hiking at local state parks. We will continue to come back to this clean, reliable and peaceful cabin for years to come!

The cabin is charming, but the stairs and landing are treacherous because they lack safety treads and are completely open on one side; these steps are unsafe for people and dogs. We had to block the steps to prevent a leg injury to our dog who is an experienced step climber.We had no WiFi service our entire stay in spite of repeated emails regarding the password.We would not stay again.

Hideaway in the Woods
This cabin was perfect for our escape from hurricane season. You could not ask for better hosts than Corey and Tim, the cabin's owners. They both go out of their way to may sure everything is right. They live nearby and will answer any question or fix any problem. The cabin is just as described online, was spotlessly clean and very easy to enjoy. We were there for a month and thoroughly loved our visit.

Lovely summer getaway
We had a fantastic stay, the cabin had all the amenities. The owner is very accommodating. We really liked the location of the property as well. It’s everything we thought it would be and more. We learned though in the summer months you need to book some of the attractions in the area well in advance, we know now for next year!!!! We may not have done all the things we wanted to do but thank goodness we had this great place to stay for the week. We will be back!

Perfect place to get away!
My husband, dog and I enjoyed this picturesque cabin in the woods! So peaceful, well-kept, and comfortable. The location was ideal, close to a variety of state parks and restaurants yet not in the thick of Deep Creek and its visitors. We enjoyed relaxing here for a long weekend in July and plan to be back in the future!
