Our family loved staying at this property. It was well appointed, set in a perfect location (right in the middle of the bay and the beach) and quiet and relaxing. The perfect getaway.

Stayed for 2 weeks in July. This is a great house! Clean, comfortable, close to the beach and the bay, and in a nice neighborhood. Deb the owner is very responsive and friendly. There are 2 dedicated parking spaces, 2 bikes in the garage and lots of beach gear. Will stay again!

This rental was just as we hoped and planned for!! We had very high expectations and were not disappointed. We would live there permanently if we could because of the beauty and functionality of the home itself, as well as the location to beach and bay access. Morning walks at sunrise were superb. Bike rides for coffee on Lido Island were a dream. And paddle boarding was as easy as could be. Thank you DK for being a lovely hostess and sharing such a special place with our family. We will never forget our Christmas vacation on the Newport Penninsula.

What a great place and location. Home is new and in excellent condition. Luxurious. Highly recommend. This was our second stay and I am sure we will be back again!

Our stay was perfect! This home is beautiful and in an ideal location. The home is a two minute walk from the bay which is a great spot if you are looking for a kid friendly place to let them play in sand and water minus the waves. Every day we used the SUP boards provided by the home and cruised around. The beach is about a five minute walk at the most and our 13 year old spent most of his time there body surfing with my husband and the local kids. There are lifeguards on duty so I felt pretty good about allowing him to go out. One of the days we rented a duffy boat for a few hours over at the Fun Zone and were able to see a lot of the area from the water, I highly recommend this is if you're looking for an easy outing. We also ate at Nobu one evening, it was a five minute uber and the staff were great in regards to covid policies. The home itself is set up very well. The kitchen was stocked with cooking necessities from pots/pans to seasoning etc. There is also a bbq that we used nightly and the fire pit as well for smore's! The master bedroom is gorgeous with a nice view and a huge bathroom attached. The two guest rooms were comfortable, one had a trundle bed which was nice for our 13 year old to use. The home also has a washer and dryer which was a godsend. The garage is stocked with all the beach items you could need, toys, chairs, umbrellas, water toys, even a wagon to load the items up and transport to the bay. There are also two bikes which we used each evening to cruise around. The owner is very responsive and made sure we had what we needed. Overall fantastic vacation and not one of us wanted to leave, we are already planning our next trip down!

What a beautiful home in a perfect location on the Balboa Peninsula. Nothing lacking; beautifully appointed. Walking distance to everything we needed. Slept 5 adults and 2 children very comfortably. Owner was fabulous to work with and very responsive. We would love to visit again!

I’m originally from Orange County and grew up along the SoCal coast. This home is centrally located, walking distance to both beach and Bay as well as ferry that will take you across to Balboa Island. Outdoor patio was great for socially distanced small “gatherings”. No need to leave the area. Bikes/boogie boards/paddle boards/beach chairs & towels all provided. Great getaway for me and my 4 girls. We will be back!

This home does not feel like a rental home. This feels like someone's well-appointed, well-taken care of first home. The clean lines, fantastic linens and appliances and bright light, make this home an absolute pleasure to be in. We enjoyed all of the outdoor space it offered as well. We did not want to leave at the end of our visit and we cannot wait to return. In addition to being a gorgeous home with every amenity you could possible want to have, the home is situated in a great spot. You are close to the beach, close to the bay, and close to great restaurants. We barely used our car. You are also in walking distance to the Balboa Pier and Fun Zone so you can rent bikes, go on boat excursions and grab ice cream in the evening. The owner is lovely as well. She was just a phone call/text away with any questions I had. She was immediately responsive and helpful. But, the house is so well taken care of and fully equipped with everything you need, I don't even think you will have a reason to need to get in touch with the owner. It is spotless clean as well. We could not speak more highly of our experience!

Great house to stay at with family, close to main interests and in a quiet area. Check-in I only gave a 4/5 as when we arrived the owners phone apparently had died so we couldn't get in. Also we were missing some household items as the cleaners I guess didn't check. Owner very promptly delivered them the following day. Otherwise whole house Air-Con is great but only one temp sensor in the Kitchen (not zoned) so it makes the bedrooms a bit too cold.

Perfect quiet street yet right in the heart of it!!! The property is brand new and does not disappoint’

We received compliments on the house from passers by as we sat by the fire pit on the porch in the evening and for good reason. This house is very attractive and nicely put together for beach living. The kids' beach at the bay end of the street is a hidden gem that really delivers for families with little ones. And the short walk to the Balboa Pier, Balboa Island Ferry and the new park at 15th Street make this an ideal location. Also, available parking eliminated the principal headache of beach stays. Deborah was attentive and thorough in getting us set up to enjoy our stay. We'd like to return next year.

The house is as good as the pictures indicate. Newly updated, tastefully decorated, very comfortable, and centrally located. We would definitely rent this again.

We rented the house over the 4th of July holiday. It was outstanding! We enjoyed our family time, great house location for all ages!! The house is in between the ocean and the bay! Gorgeous outside and inside. The owner was very attentive if we needed anything! We will rent again! Wonderful neighbors! Such kind and welcoming people that live all around this location! A must RENT property!
