Ce confortable appartement indépendant de 2 chambres est situé au milieu d'un jardin tropical avec vue sur l'océan dans un endroit calme, à cinq minutes à pied de Holetown, sur la côte ouest de la Barbade. We spent 3 weeks at DeeDee Villa and had a lovely time. The apartment was very spacious—lots of room for my husband, sister and me. The host, Livy, was simply wonderful and I am so thankful we met him. He and his wife built the house on his family’s property and he has many family members nearby. It’s a real Bajan neighborhood and we enjoyed the morning sounds of rooster and cows! We ended up renting a car because my sister needs a new knee—Livy called the car rental company and they came right over with the car! This was our first driving experience in Barbados and quite an experience! He also made us rum punch —really wonderful to come back at the end of the day and have several—and fish cakes. All in all, I would highly recommend both the unit and the host.

My wife and I stayed at DEE DEE Villa for 15 nights in March 2024 and found the place to be clean, quiet and convenient.
The apartment is located on the ground floor of the Owner's home. The kitchen has everything required for meal preparation and there are dining area inside as well as outside.
The Owner is very proud the property which can easily be seen in how clean and tidy he keeps it. He is also very friendly and willing to assist his quests enjoy their time in Barbados.
Everything you need (beach, swimming, water sports shopping, etc.) is easily available a mere 2.5 km away.

Liv was a wonderful host, always available to provide information or greet us in the morning. We ended up renting a car to get from the airport to his property, instead of having him pick us up, and his directions are spot on, but it doesn't hurt to have a GPS capability on a phone or in the car as many (most?) roads are poorly marked. Especially around rush hour there is a lot of traffic, the roads can be narrow and potholed, and you drive on the left, but It is just a few minutes to several beaches by car and there is a large Massey's supermarket in Holetown that has most everything. Many restaurants also in Holetown, and we bought fresh fish at the Speightown Fish Market, near the head of the pier. Kitchen has just about everything you would need if you want to cook, Liv is pretty good at it too, if you'd like him to cook for you. It was challenging to get into and out of the parking place even with our rented Toyota Yaris. We settled on backing up from the street, and make it a wide turn into the parking spot so you can get out later more easily. There is air conditioning that we ended up using when we were home. The apartment is on the ground level, so it just doesn't get the breeze Liv has upstairs. This is a nice place to stay, definitely different than the more traditional hotel or fancy rental home, but with a car or using the local bus, you'll get a nice feel for Barbados and how people live there.

We were absolutely home away from home, made our vacation smooth, relaxing and beautiful!!! Can’t say enough about our perfect Barbados vacation and our 11 nights at Dee Dee Villa. Livy greeted us at the airport and delivered us safely to our lovely home away from home. The spotless apartment had everything we needed to prepare our meals, enjoy the outdoors and lovely gardens, and rest comfortably after busy days on this beautiful island. Livy arranged a rental car for us and gave us tips for our excursions to the beaches and other attractions. We were also lucky enough to sample his delicious cooking which included fish cakes, rum punch and coconut bread and an amazing dinner with his extended family! Lazy mornings on the patio brought opportunities to enjoy the hummingbirds feeding on the lovely blooms along with green parrots and green monkeys. A short walk through the quiet neighborhood took us to a spot overlooking the sea to watch beautiful sunsets. A visit from teeny frogs ( the size of your pinky fingernail) in the evening after a rain shower surprised and delighted us.
We hated to leave this perfect vacation rental and certainly recommend it.

From the highly recommended pick up and drop off option to the airport, to the warm welcoming on site host Livy who is happy to welcome you for dinner on your first night, you have everything you need in this fully stalked 2 bedroom apartment to make for a stress free stay.

Communication from the beginning was fantastic and then once we arrived I knew we had made the right choice. This is a beautiful property and Livvy works hard to keep it that way, tending his gorgeous gardens and cleaning. He is a lovely generous host and I hope to be back one day.

Livy is very kind and helpful. We appreciated getting picked up at the airport, and his daily routine of keeping the property tidy. It's a beautiful spot with quick access to Holetown.
The apartment is sparkling clean and spacious, with an excellent shower and comfy beds. It is quiet at night (except for the chirping frogs which you will hear anywhere on the island).
Overall it is a great place to stay at a wonderful rate.

Fabulous hosts who made us immediately feel welcome and at home. The apartment was very well appointed and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Would not hesitate to recommend them, nothing was too much. They went above and beyond when our taxi didn't show for the return journey to they airport. Our trip started with cancelled flights and a difficult drive in the dark through Barbados, but this was all eased with a very straight forward check in upon arrival at the property! Bev & Livy could not have been more helpful, we even got offered a complimentary rum punch made by Livy which was the best we tasted all trip!

We stayed for 3 nights. The accommodation was excellent. The highlights were a very comfortable bed, powerful shower, well stocked kitchen. The hosts were very friendly. Little touches like beer in the fridge, cereal, teabags, coffee and bread and milk made the stay that much easier. Also shampoo etc. in the bathroom. The outside patio was lovely to relax in. Cable tv meant we could watch the cricket.
We greatly enjoyed our stay and will recommend to others.

What can we say about Dee Dee Villas
Everything about our stay at Dee Dee Villas was perfect. Bev and Livy are great hosts and Livy is also a great cook, he cooked for us and friends one evening (Catch of the day) it was amazing.
The apartment was very clean and very well equipped. The villa is in a quiet residential area and is only a short walk to the main road and the local beach, you can also get a bus to any part of the island from the main road. Nothing was to much trouble for Bev and Livy we would be very happy or should I say luck to return. Thanks for everything Jane and Steve.

Dee Dee - “home away from home “ stunning tropical garden
It had everything we needed, exactly as advertised. Veranda is a perfect place to relax, sunbathe without getting burnt. Livy spends hours working in his beautiful garden.
Bev and Livy were perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed Bev’s “hot out of the oven “ cookies and Livy’s rum punch and appetizers.
We looked forward to late afternoon chats with Livy covering a variety of topics and reminiscing about Barbados in 1969. I was thrilled that the purple orchid bloomed on our 62nd wedding anniversary… a very special scrapbook memory.
We were fortunate that we finally got to see the green monkeys; yes, they run around Bev & Livy’s garden.
Livy and Bev took us on a tour to Bathsheba, we saw more of the island than expected… it was a trip down memory lane. Due to inclement weather we had an indoor picnic on their veranda. Livy’s Pickled breadfruit salad and Rum Punch showcased Livy’s cooking talent.
We’ll recommend Dee Dee to our friends and recommend it to anyone who anyone who is looking for a delightful place that ticks all the boxes, the website really doesn’t do justice to this hidden gem.

Had a fab time at Dee Dee villa. Beverley and Livingston are great hosts, very helpful and lovely people. Livy is a great cook and loves his beautiful garden. If you need anything just ask! We extended our stay by 15 nights to a total of 7 weeks. That says it all

A gem of a Villa, amazing hosts!
Immediately upon entering Dee Dee Villa we knew we found a gem. Exactly as depicted in the listing - spotlessly clean, comfortable with just what you need for a lovely stay in Barbados. Dee Dee’s charm continues with hosts Bev and Livy who did everything they could to make us feel welcome and comfortable and safe in these COVID times . From being picked up at the airport, delicious supper made on our first night, games played with laughter and great conversations, guidance on beaches to visit, places to see and things to do, to help hiring a car - Bev and Livy were our go to people!
We enjoyed the beautiful garden with enthusiastic gardener Livy describing all the plants to us.
We became fast friends and most definitely will be returning!

Lovely Villa
We stayed at Dee Dee villa for two weeks, and had a wonderful time. The villa is very spacious and clean, and the outside covered patio was terrific - we ate all our meals "al fresco" on the patio. The proximity to the grocery store and beaches, particularly Folkestone Marine Preserve and Park, made for a very easy stay. Thanks very much for allowing us to enjoy your wonderful accomodations.

After reading all the positive reviews we were pretty sure we had found the perfect place to stay for our Barbados holiday and we were not disappointed! Bev and Livy picking us up from the airport and Livy making us a wonderful evening meal which we enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to the tree frogs made the perfect start after a long flight.
Regarding the flat, we really cannot add to what has already been written. It is simply a very clean, well maintained place to stay in a quiet residential area with no major road noise, hosted by two friendly, helpful owners who will interact with you as much or as little as you wish.
We would have no hesitation in recommending it and cannot wait to return!

Beverley and Livingstone treated us so well that we felt at hone from the beginning. They were always very helpful and kind. Breakfast and dinner were always excellent. The flat was very well equipped and in impeccable condition. The villa is beautiful situated and the place very well maintained.

‘In training’ for our retirement years.
This is our second visit to Barbados, enjoying this visit with our stay in the accommodations offered by Bev and Livy.
You read many reviews of accommodations, in the varied web sites providing vacation listings, some good and some not so good, some honest and some deceptive. It has been an absolute privilege for us to stay at this property, our vacation was outstanding, and our ratings could not be more truthful. When you find a gem like this, do you keep this information to yourself so you can quietly return, or let others know and risk having the accommodation constantly booked?
The property and the accommodations are exceedingly well maintained, and Bev and Livy could not be more caring or helpful, looking after the smallest details so promptly. Each day Livy was out in the garden and around the property ‘manicuring’ the landscape and keeping everything tidy. We always had time for a chat, sharing what we had planned for the day, receiving helpful advice and suggestions.
The property is located a short walk from the beach, and the busy traffic of the island, in a quiet neighbourhood setting. As we are very active, it was an interesting and achievable walk to both Holetown and Speightstown, meeting the kindest island folks along the way with a cheerful greeting each time. We used the public transit system very easily, embracing the island lifestyle. This property is located on one of the transit routes if you wanted to wait for the scheduled service. Most times, we traveled the main routes with very frequent service and walked the last way to our destinations.
We prefer to prepare our own meals, and access to full service grocery stores is very easy. The kitchen facility in this accommodation has everything you need, and Livy was always willing to provide some helpful direction and accessories if needed.
For those concerned about beds and comfort, we can assure others that the beds are very good and the linens very generous. There is also an abundance of closets and in-suite laundry to accommodate a long stay.
The suite has air-conditioning that works very well. We preferred to enjoy the natural breezes and fresh air of the island so we only used it one time when we were preparing a larger meal for our family that was joining us for Christmas dinner. The rest of the time, the windows were open for nice cross ventilation in the suite with the assistance of a fan.

Best of Barbados!
What a truly remarkable experience! This property was perfect in every way. Everything that we could have wished for had been provided and it was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was extremely well equipped so preparing a meal is easy if you want to eat in. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. Little extras such as beach towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel being provided really make a guest feel welcome. Bev and Livi are truly wonderful hosts who were always on hand to provide us with information and share their recommendations with us. Their garden is lovingly tended and Livi is keen to share his horticultural skills with you.Many shrubs and flowers of great colour and beauty fill their immaculate garden. We had the pleasure of Livi cooking a fantastic dinner for us. The swordfish was cooked to perfection and my daughters pork tenderloin was first class! We certainly recommend enjoying a freshly prepared meal on the balcony as the warm air breezes past. It has been a privilege to have met Bev and Livi and to have stayed at Dee Dee Villa, and we thoroughly recommend this property for a wonderful stay in Barbados. Fabulous vacation
We knew when we first found the listing that this was going to be a home from home experience. Bev and Livy went out of their way to ensure we had a perfect stay. Picking us up and dropping us back to the airport took away the stress of dealing with late running taxi,s. Livy,s food is amazing and was a great touch after a long flight. The grounds are so pretty, peaceful and secure. Family visitors were made welcome. Great location near to shops, main roads and the beach. Originally from the island my mum who is partially disabled was able to relax and found the whole visit to be stress free. Bev and Livy are fantastic hosts who answered all questions prior to the visit quickly and could not have offered more. Great communication and service. We are not sure when we will next get the chance to visit however we are sure that when we do it will be at Dee Dee Villas if they will have us. Thanks for making our trip so fantastic. Enjoyable and homely
The property was just as expected. Bev and Liv met us at the airport, ran us about until we rented a car, and delivered us safely and in good time to the airport for our journey home. We were comfortable, enjoyed the quiet of the property including the colourful garden and enjoyed meeting some of the locals just a nice distance from the busy coast. We thank Bev and Liv for their hospitality and would recommend Dee Dee Villa as a very convenient base to explore the island.
