Highly recommend and good communication for any questions. We hosted a cousin reunion and enjoyed using the dock and cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. Roomy and nice bathrooms and hot showers. There is nice afternoon shade from mature trees across the back. The inside is clean and comfortable. The grill and back porch and deck off the master could use some power washing:-)

Laura's place is located in a quiet and relaxing spot. The cabin is clean and spacious with plenty of space for the whole family. Laura was quick to respond to all of my questions and check in/check out was super easy. Would stay again.

Very cool home overlooking Lake Martin. Great location, great swimming, large dock if you have a boat or jet ski. Property manager was great and easy to work with. We were there for July 4th, many neighbors shot of a ton of fireworks.

We stayed a week with another family with teenagers & toddlers. It was a perfect home away from home, from the small details of lounge blankets everywhere to fresh summer flowers potted around the property, it is the perfect combination of cozy & ready for expected guests- stocked with Board games & an abundance of outside activities from corn hole to kayaking. The dock, yard, view- every aspect of the outside aesthetic- is absolutely beautiful! It does have a very steep driveway; however, Laura was very communicative about that & offered an easy solution to drop the boat in at the ramp a few minutes down the road! I would definitely stay here again & loved getting to experience a week at the lake in a home away from home!

This house was perfect for a family with small children. If you have a boat, our advice is do not attempt to pull/back it down the driveway. Leave it at the top of the hill beside the road until you’re unloaded, then go launch it at Dare Power Park, which also has an amazing playground. The house itself was very well stocked, had plenty of bedroom space, and a great shaded yard for the kids to play when not swimming.

My party of four had a very enjoyable stay. The weather was cold so we took advantage of the fire pit and beautiful waterfront view. The crisp night air was clear and gave us a wonderful view of the night sky and the green comet. Our group likes to fish and this house was only ten minutes from the dock where we met our guide.

Immaculate. Came for golf and football so away during daylight. Kitchen well equipped and stocked. Bedding comfy. Fit our needs well.

This property was wonderful and Laura was the most gracious host! The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen was well organized, the screen porch was serene, and the dock was delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed using the kayaks there, and when we didn’t find life vests, Laura arranged for the neighbor to provide some for us. While the accommodations themselves were exactly on point, Laura was the true gem of this rental property!

Beautiful serene stay with all the comforts of home. We were needing an affordable option for an Auburn game and this fit our needs perfectly!

We enjoyed our time here. Everything was perfect and Laura was so accommodating and kind. We like being on the side of the lake that wasn’t so busy but enjoyed boating over to eat at the waterfront restaurants. We especially loved the dock at the house. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our first time to Lake Martin and our family of four really enjoyed our stay. The house is located in a very peaceful and quiet area. They have a brand new dock, with multiple slips, that we tied our boat up to. Pirate island and big beach are right around the corner, and there are endless islands and coves nearby to park and float. The owners were incredibly accommodating, they even launched my boat for me!! We’ll be back!

My Family spent a relaxing week here. It was everything described in the advertisement and more. Laura was accommodating and accessible. We enjoyed it so much we are going going to rent again next summer.

Easy to find clean inside.. yard could use some work . Rail on porch were flag is is very wobbly and dangerous if someone leaned on it .. ramps getting in and out of house are very uncomfortable and awkward.. left us slipping down them and tripping.. overall wonderful stay !!

We absolutely loved the home and the double boat slips with so much extra room to swim! We had 3 families and we all slept comfortably. Everything was easily accessed, with even kayaks we used to fish and take in the scenery. Really it was just a great comfortable home. We stayed outdoors 99% of the time. Few things we needed was extra TP and garbage bags. Everything else was there! Be careful of the screen porch bc some of the screen wasn’t attached especially on the higher end of the house. The boat launch was sketchy. It is very sloped. We didn’t use it but there is one nearby we got access to. We had a Tahoe pulling jet skis and it slid down the hill so we knew our other two larger boats wouldn’t make that haul. Atleast we didn’t want to risk it. We fished, fed ducks, played with neighbors dogs,swam,jumped off pier, set up games in the yard, grilled and so much more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for a week!

Size of house was perfect for our family! We loved the dock and outdoor space. My son and his friend were able to fish off of dock and caught catfish and bluegill! Owner was very responsive and helpful! Would definitely stay again.

The house was very nice, kitchen and baths very clean. Baths are convenient to the bedrooms and to general areas. Water and new dock are great. Parking is minimal especially when close neighbor's family is in residence. Use caution if bringing a boat, driveway is long and steep and ramp is tight-use Dare Park ramp and boat parking at end of Young's Ferry Road is our advice.

Great place to stay and really quiet area. Great dock setup if you bring your boat and has ramp for great access. The driveway is a little tricky to maneuver bringing a boat in but was able to get mine down and launched. Ramps from the house down to the yard area are nice for those that have trouble climbing stairs.

The cold weather kept us from enjoying the water, but that didn’t stop us from having a wonderful time. The kitchen was well stocked, the house was so clean and cozy, and the lake was beautiful. We sat outside wrapped in blankets and enjoyed just sitting in the sunshine. Would definitely come back!

Older neighborhood, redone house on the lake. We were staying for an event nearby so we didn't get to enjoy the lake or outdoors. Maybe next time! Louvered folding doors to laundry in kitchen were dirty & needed cleaning really bad. Tops of lampshades in bedrooms were covered in dust. There were ants in the kitchen on countertops near sink. Otherwise everything was clean. Price was very fair & if you need a place closer to Auburn, this location is great!

The property was immaculate and the owner was super friendly and accommodating. One of the cleanest place we have ever stayed at with VRBO. This is a beautiful place to stay and we can’t wait to go to the lake again!

We had a lovely time at the lake this fall with family and friends for an Auburn home game weekend. The house is as described in the photos- nothing too fancy, just comfy & cozy on the quiet side of the lake. But the owner, Laura? She is the highlight. She's incredibly gracious, kind, and accessible. We accidently left a bag of clothes there and she went above and beyond to make sure we retrieved it. That's TOP NOTCH customer service, right there!

The property was great for our needs and the owner was so gracious answering questions and helping me. Neighbors were close but very friendly too! Rooms were clean and ample towels for the few nights we were there. The only thing I think could be changed is the carpet replaced, but I do think even though it’s aged it was cleaned the best it could be. The outside area was very nice! The grill and dock looked brand new! We enjoyed the small fire area both nights! I would definitely recommend this rental and this area.
