We have stayed here two years in a row and just love the location and the view. We come down to go to the beach and play golf with our teen boys. This until is clean and spacious enough for 4. We plan to come back again in the future!

The Anchorage II property did not disappoint. This was my second time staying here. Perfect for a family with little kids. Beach right across the street and the pool on the property. Condos are nice and as advertised. Two bed,two bath. Our shower door was sticking outside of that everything was great.

We always have a wonderful time at Anchorage II. It is a great location, wonderful people to meet, and very nice accommodations. The homeowners do try to maintain their unit to make it the best possible experience for those who want to enjoy their "home at the beach".Housekeeping has really become top-notch. Kudos to that staff.We have had some issues, but we've been going to Anchorage II for so many years we are very willing and able to resolve any difficulties on our own. The phone number to call always has an answering machine, and they may call you back with any maintenance concerns. Although, they may have a bad phone connection - always getting "disconnected" when finally able to talk with someone. No worries - we manage! Only question I have is: "Why no hairdryers?" Really? After all the years we have been here, the decision to not have hairdryers in the units is baffling. Got a Foreman grill, a sandwich press, many many kitchen appliances - and no hairdryer?Some "management" decisions are hard to understand. The website clearly indicates that the kitchen is fully stocked (only really want a toaster and coffee pot), but no mention to "BYOHD".

One of the Best Facilities and Locations you could ask for. Close to just about everything you will need but in a beach location that you're not overwhelmed by the high-rise crowds. Have stayed here several times over the years and it just fits our needs and expectations. The grounds, pool and general atmosphere is so inviting and relaxing.

nice and squeaky
We really liked the unit -- spacious with a great view and a nice kitchen with new appliances.
The main problem was the squeaky floor upstairs. For two weeks, we were woken up by it whenever our upstairs neighbors got up and the floor would squeak on and off for at least 30 minutes when they got ready. This varied between 5:50am and 7ish, which is way earlier than what we would like, and resulted in a semi sleep deprived two weeks. We tried to adjust our sleep schedule but time change didn't help the matter. The living room squeaked too during the day, but we happily accepted that compared to the early morning wake up calls.
Other minor issues:
-- Roaches appeared on two occasions, once before monthly pest control spray and once after.
-- Pool was not available even though heated pool was advertised.
-- Essentials are provided, but no extra household items like trash bags, toilet paper, etc. And no hair dryer.
In summary, a very nice place with a major squeak problem. We would stay there again if upstairs is guaranteed to be vacant or have the same sleep hours as us.

This is the first time we rented a condo at Anchorage II (unit B17) and it will NOT be the last. We loved the condo! It was very clean and beautifully decorated. The king size bed in the master suite was very comfortable. The pool was also nice. The location of the condo was in a perfect location and had wonderful unobstructed views of the beach and ocean.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is beautiful and nicely decorated. We did have an issue with the dishwasher. It made a loud noise when we tried to use it. I ended up not using it and just washed the dishes by hand. I think the appliances need to be checked before each family comes in. It is annoying to have to deal with an issue like this when you are coming in for vacation. We also had a dirty mattress pad. These need to be changed for every new rental. Our TV didn’t always come on. We had to work with it just about every time we turned it on. Something to do with the cable box, confusing. The management did address these issues when we called them. The mattress pad was replaced, but we still were left with the dishwasher and TV issues. We have been staying at Anchorage II for 30 years. One thing that kinda aggravated us is we make our year to year reservations a year in advance. We have noticed we are paying a much higher rental fee for booking early rather than booking closer to the time of our stay. That doesn’t seem fair.

I can’t say enough fabulous things about the u it we were in. It was clean, beautifully decorated and was right across from the ocean. We felt Leone we were at home - so much so that we were able to host our Canadian thanksgiving with family that was also down for vacation in other units. I just wish we could have been able to stay longer in the unit.

As always I love anchorage. B17 is my favorite. I have stayed in one other in the building next door. It too is very nice. We were so lucky we missed the hurricane! I do have to tell you there were no dish cloths or dish towels in the kitchen but we handled it. Other than that it was perfect. Of course we I’ll be back. Thank you!

The photos and description of the condo we stayed in were very accurate. It was newly remodeled, had nice furniture (balcony furniture was somewhat old, but functional) and very clean. The layout of the condo was perfect for us (we are family of four, two younger children). Great view of the ocean. Would recommend to families looking for a relaxing beach vacation. The beach was very clean and not crowded at all. The location is great, just far enough away from the main beach areas of Myrtle so you don't have the noise and riff raff, however it is close enough to enjoy the main attractions with a short drive.

We were joining family for the first time, they are 13 year veterans at Anchorage 2. Our condo was beautiful. Modern decor and I think the most beautiful of the 7 units rented this week. Pool/location on the beach is fabulous.
Unfortunately, there was still external work happening on the building. The workers were apparently not reliable and 2 months behind schedule. The noise around the pool was unbearable. However, Lisa was amazing to communicate with. We know we will return and hopefully the workmen will be no where to be found!
This was not the fault of Anchorage 2, and they handled the feedback well.

The beach was beautiful & the location couldn’t be more convenient and chairs ready and waiting! The unit itself was spacious comfortable beds but it could have been a little more clean especially having little kids I always want that for them! Noise from pool from other hotel was extremely noisy all the way into 11 at night so that wasn’t good with two small kids! Overall it was a nice vacation n the place was fine u just can’t beat the convenience of the beach across the street
