Location was great.

Multiple times we requested an early check in, we were then told we couldn’t have one as the property was booked back to back. We asked if there was any possibility of any earlier check in on the day before and communicated the urgency of this and were told if the cleaners finished in time we would be contacted. We arrived at the property early to check its location and noted the cleaners had finished, yet we still had to call up and request an early check in be approved. We also had to fill in a lengthy form prior to check in which was time consuming. Finally, there was no hot water. We realised this when we returned home from a wedding the first night and then contacted the holiday rental people in the morning, it was fixed late morning but it was really frustrating.

Great little apartment - well appointed and cleverly designed. Close to the main street and an easy 5 min walk to cafe for breakfast.

It is very close to the training line - hence the noise of goods trains were evident throughout the night. The front door handle was broken meaning that we were not able to use the front door at all during our stay and needed to enter and exit via the back gate and courtyard. Inconvenient.

Nicely appointed and furnished inside and the rooms were well cleaned. Good location to shop’s.

One of the blankets and a floor mat were quite dirty obviously the blanket hadn’t been cleaned and the bath mat was stained. The rug in the bedroom also smelled of dog urine. Proximity to rail line made it quite noisy overnight.
