Really enjoyed our stay! House was exactly like the photos and listing! Plenty of space for a large group. Very clean. Beautiful, wooded back yard! Great location to lots of activities. Property manager extremely responsive.

Chair in living room broken, air hockey game broken, no air and grill burners need replacing. Tv in living room could be placed in a better area, so that everyone on the couch can view the tv.

Four families came together at this home for three nights due to a wedding in the Galena Territory. We appreciated the number of bedrooms that had bathrooms attached allowing for personal spaces among large communal spaces, including the kitchen and living room area. The screened in porch with a fan helped with the high heat and humidity during our visit. The directions for the home along with the amenities were concise and complete. Our teens didn’t enjoy the live bugs in their room, yet the house binder assured of treating for insects. I didn’t notice any bugs our room downstairs nor in the communal spaces. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved the beauty of the outdoors.

The property overall is good, could use a little touch ups here and there, Plenty of room for large groups, Issues withe trying to figure out television, Overall awesome venue and even better with the surrounding area. This would also be a great golfing destination.

We all had a great time. The beds were great, location great, space was excellent. However, it is in need of some updates/repairs. The sliding glass doors are very hard to open an close. One of the leather chairs is wobbly and seems like it could break at any point, we could not get the TV in the master bedroom to work even with new batteries. I would think the kitchen would be stocked with at least zip lock bags saran rap and foil. It was like 3500 for 4 nights so for that price i would expect a little more.

We had a lovely time at this home. Plenty of room for everyone to visit. Manager responded quickly to inquiries and requests for assistance.

We had a great time staying together with family. The place was very nice and it was more about being together.

With 7 adults and 2 kids and 2 dogs, this house had plenty of space. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the screened in porch. My niece organized a shuffleboard tournament. We grilled and had s’mores at the fire pit. Overall, comfortable accommodations for a relaxing weekend in the Galena Territory. We sent a message with a quick question during our stay and got a quick response. Thank you!

Perfect house for family stay, plenty of space and comfortable rooms. Bonus being across the street from. The owners club pool!

Candy wrapper in one of the beds, coffee maker still dirty from the last renter. There were light bulbs out in master bath, living room, master closet, and foyer. Decent house but definitely not worth the money for two nights. This was very expensive for the quality. I expected a lot better. Poor maintenance and overall a low quality build and way overpriced

We enjoyed our stay. The space was great for our family Christmas together which included my parents, my children their spouses, and my two grandchildren. The property was well stocked but could use a better cleaning of fridge and bathrooms and lighting in kitchen dining area is very dim. But overall great place for group gatherings

Had some issues with some of the beds. Mattresses were uncomfortable. WiFi issues but we finally got them resolved. Gas grill needs attention. Grates may need replacement. Overall we agreed we would rent property again.

We were a group of 12 adults coming from 6 different states. Walking through the front door into a large open space with lots of natural light we could tell it would be perfect for us. Amenities in the home and within the community were great.

Stay was great but there could be improvements. The lighting in the kitchen was terrible. They needed can lights in the ceiling. Definitely need new pillows as theirs were flat. Small investment. Grounds were beautiful and well kept. Would rent again.

We had a family gathering from Iowa and Wisconsin. We appreciated the 6 bedrooms and bathrooms. Each family could have some privacy when needed. The gathering area in the living room/dining room/kitchen was comfortable for a large group. We cooked most of our meals there. There was a nice large refrigerator in the kitchen and a second one in the basement, which was very useful. One of the highlights was being a five minute walk (up a steep hill) to the owners' clubhouse. Our family used the outdoor pool, indoor pool, game room, inside basketball court, and outside basketball court. There was something for all ages to do. We did a hiking walk on a nearby trail. Used the gas grill, worked well. Lots of dishes and pots/pans/appliances. We have two suggestions - please improve the lighting in the gathering area, and some of the mattresses/beds were pretty soft and squeaky. Overall, we were very satisfied. Also, Angie, the contact person was very responsive when I emailed her the day before about a couple of things. Great job, Rosebud!

Fantastic property! Spacious, bright and clean with lots of room to spread out. It was so nice having a large living room, deck, screened porch and a patio to enjoy. Great gathering place for family, and so nice to have 6 bedrooms and 6 baths. Huge bonus was that our dogs were allowed. Lovely location with lots to do.

Spacious home. Quiet neighborhood. Close to Owners Club. Garbage disposal didn’t work. No cupboards for food storage. Hole in exterior wall by bedroom, birds building nest within the hole and much chirping.

We enjoyed our time in this lovely home!

We were a group of 6 ladies from the Chicago area. This home is a perfect spot for a weekend get-away. Not too far from Chicago, lots of bedrooms (most with its own bathroom), wonderfully stocked kitchen for food prep, spacious, and clean. Beds are all comfortable with fabulous, soft linens. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay, it was the first time in a year since we were all able to be together and the house was a perfect venue. The living area and outdoor space was very conducive for hanging out while preparing meals and enjoying the views. The outdoor space was also nice, plenty of space and the option of a screened in porch. The location was close to the amenity club as well as a few nice hiking trails. We would definitely comeback.

The house itself was fabulous and the location to all the amenities of the Galena Territory was excellent.

With the weather being so cold we were inside the house majority of the trip with no internet or tv. This was very frustrating. We also didn’t have the air hockey Stricker. The kids were really looking diehard to playing it.

We loved sitting on the porches enjoying our breakfast/coffee in the beautiful fall weather. There is a walking trail nearby that goes down to a creek, which the kids greatly enjoyed. The only down side was that the lighting in the kitchen area isn't bright enough to see well to cook when it is dark outside. The kitchen is well equipped and does have just about everything you need to cook, including a crockpot. To use the swimming pool, the owners must make a reservation and you must know their names to check in. You get a 45 minute window for swimming. You can't just drop in. The kids really enjoyed using the pool and there is a lap lane available, which also requires a reservation. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a great house with a lot of rooms on a beautiful property. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which made it easy for our mix of friends and family. We had everything we needed and plenty of space. Upon arrival, check in was easy, but once inside, we did find trash left out on the patio. We hope the towels and linens provided were laundered before our arrival, but they were very stained and looked dirty which was concerning. Although the house overall looked clean, there were many dead insects all around the inside. So, though the house served us well and was very nice, it could be improved by addressing these issues. The Galena Territory is certainly a location we would love to visit again.

Beautiful property the only issues I could recall was dark lighting, some outlets not working in the kitchen area, moldy smell from the dishwasher, dead batteries in the remote and problems with the TVs going in and out in the bedrooms or freezing up also only 1 hand towel per person for the entire stay was a let down but other than that the property, privacy and access was AMAZING!
