One of the best locations on Hydra, although a little noisy on friday and saturday nights as it is right in the port.

The location is perfect. Right near the port and ferry entrance. Beautiful views of the town from the balcony. Excellent service from the staff below in Isalos Restaurant. Amazing communication from the hosts. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Will be back again for sure.

First of all it’s so close so you don’t have to climb the never ending stairs to get to it. You literally just get from the ferry, walk 40 seconds and enter the hotel. The room was very clean and comfy, I liked everything about it, the shower, the bed, pillows. Everything. The staff was amazing. The breakfast was in the restaurant downstairs and it was delicious.
There is no elevator, it might be difficult for someone. But there are no elevators anywhere here so mind that. I personally didn’t have any problems with that.

We loved the view of the port from our balcony. Breakfast downstairs at Isalos each morning was delicious and the staff took great care of us.

The Upper is right on the harbor; you only have to carry your suitcase a few steps to the accommodation.
The building itself is very tastefully renovated. The Junior Suite was elegantly appointed, offered quality toiletries, had an incredibly comfortable bed and provided ample space for me and my friend. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Our pre-submitted request for two separate blankets for the bed had already been fulfilled by the time we arrived; this was very appreciated. The room was also immaculately cleaned every day; many thanks again to the especially friendly service staff!
The owners also run the restaurant Mikra Agglia, one of the best addresses in Hydra! We had breakfast and dinner there and absolutely loved it.
All in all our stay was fantastic; we would come back in a heartbeat! Thank you to the wonderful staff and owners!

We spent more than a week in Upper Hydra and could not have been more satisfied. Our room was beautiful, ample and comfortable with top quality fittings and amenities. Impeccable cleaning, very kind staff, unbeatable location on the port, very quiet also thanks to soundproof windows. Excellent breakfast at Isalos, lots of choices, top quality products, friendly and efficient service. The owners, Ifigenia and Yannis, are the nicest, kind and helpful, always available, paying attention to every detail, and super passionate about quality. Thank you for a great stay, we can’t wait to come back!

Location is perfect. Room is quality. AC is quiet. Breakfastat Isalos was the best.
Bathroom is a little small but that is the price you pay for the location in a historical building. a very minor comment.

Bells from the harbor woke me up very early every morning. Glass wall for bathroom was fine for traveling alone, but not so much if you’re traveling with someone.

The breakfast for two was brilliant and kept us going for most of the day. The view from the little balcony was wonderful - we never tired of watching the activity in the port below. The room itself was stylishly decorated with a very comfy bed.
Be aware that the bathroom has clear glass doors which means there is little to no privacy when you are going to the toilet! It looks very modern but not very practical. Even if the glass was frosted rather than clear that would be much better.

We loved our stay at upper hydra. The view was splendid. The owners were really accommodating. Everything was perfect, clean. They provided us with clean towels everyday, beach towels. The cleaning lady Kiki was awesome, she did an awesome job at cleaning the room and providing us with anything we needed. The restaurant downstairs isalos was phenomenal. The food was fabulous, the servers were awesome! Thank you to Staillos & Ifigenia for the warm welcome! When we come back to hydra, we know where to stay now! 100% recommend this hotel!

The locations was fantastic, the view was outstanding. Decorated tastefully, good coffee machine, comfortable bed.
High standard of cleanliness and a REALLY nice house cleaner with high quality bathroom products.
Although the port can get noisy, the apartment is sound proofed extremely well.
Amazing breakfast came with our booking. one of the best I have had in Greece which compliments the accommodation.
Initial misunderstanding regarding facilities in the apartment, (to clarify- there is not a refrigerator available in every room)- however, a solution was reached swiftly to ensure important medications were safely stored. Sink has a crack in it which did leak over the shelf. This has tried to be fixed, but may need to be replaced.
A card in the room tells you the breakfast time, but may be clearer if location of breakfast was also on the card (directly below in a super cafe).
Unfortunately during our stay there was some building work being carried out.

The location was amazing and the woman who cleaned our room every morning was also amazing. I’ve never been in a cleaner room.
The room was tiny which I normally wouldn’t mind except the bathroom was near impossible to squeeze out of especially if you were showering. I would have moved the bed or done something just to be able to open the door all the way.

Family owned. Amazing attention to details. Superbly clean. Location is excellent and the breakfasts were wonderful. Try the fresh Greek yogurt with freshly sliced apricots, peaches, strawberries and bananas with Greek honey!

The door to the bathroom is glass/totally transparent which is a bit awkward, especially given the small size of the (balcony with sea view room)
