The staff, they haven't learned about hospitality. The bathroom had a loose toilet and shower. And when you took the issue to the staff they simply said they knew about the problem, they didn't seem to care either about the dangers of it etc. They didn't had any spare rooms to change to. And for compensation all they could give was a free drink. I don't see how the hotel can sell a room that has broken items in it. Or how they didn't even notify about that part. Aside of this issue we had continuesly problems with the key card to get into the room. It kept on bugging out and giving an error so we couldn't get into our room. For this we had to go back all the way to the reception desk again to get it re-enabled. I could tell the staff wasn't pleased with us coming with this issue everytime We weren't either as this happened 8 times during our stay.

Very loud people at the bar each night. No facilities, shops, supermarkets, restaurants nearby.

I spent 4 nights here and extended this day too...i found an exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff, namely Mr. "Sameer" i would recommend to visit this place to just have him as a host!. My room was super clean & comfortable, with a nice view and very well prepared. Breakfast with a decent variety of food i enjoyed every day. Free private parking & in few minutes with car you are in den Haag.

It’s clean and it has parking.

The staff looked like they were new and didn’t know much. We had dinner there and when we asked for a drink they didn’t even bother to bring it , we had to do it ourselves. Too expensive for what it is.

Location was a bit inconvenient and the price was high for the room. Other Bastion locations (in other cities) were cheaper and offered the same facilities.

The room was okay.

At our first night in the hotel the free parking was not provided due to the hotel parking being full. We had to look for a parking place on the streets.

the furniture was old and damaged. the room table was unusable and the desk table very small. the gym was small and only had running machines.

My car was stolen from outside the hotel during the stay. There was actually a closed car park at the hotel, but staff didn't mention it. Staff should obviously state this to each arriving guest as it is obvious after a while that it is not the safest of areas. Also, staff could be a little more on the ball. For example, they should be able to recommend two or three restaurants that aren't that far off in the neighbourhood. I guess google exists and we do everything on our own these days, but it does make a place more friendly if staff throw a couple of ideas too.

Good location for access to off ice but limited places to eat, shops, etc near by. property is dated. breakfast was limited choice. Someone entered my room with a key by mistake. Wrong meal was served and then took a long time to correct. No late checkout available.
