A propos de ce villarental
Tivigny Villa: Unwind and Disconnect from the Stress in this Costal Villa

Property is great staff is great! Does not have hot tub but other than that amazing. I have traveled all but two islands in the Caribbean and so far the people of Grenada are kind to tourist and each other! We will be back

We loved staying at Trivigny - its a great villa with beautiful views and gorgeous gardens. We particularly enjoyed using the kayaks and small motor boat, but were a little disappointed that the sailing boat was unavailable.

We were two couples staying for a week. Much appreciated the two lovely master suites. The gardens cared so well by Solomon were beautiful along with great views and sunsets. Beautifully appointed house with lots of secluded spaces. Wish the common spaces were air conditioned like the bedrooms. It was hot! Great week exploring the island.

Great views and awesome house. If you like to cook your meals the kitchen has it all. Yvette and Solomon who take care of the house and garden are just wonderful. Dale who handled all the communications and questions while we were there was always prompt and on it.
Enjoy

A beautiful villa with fabulous views over Woburn Bay and Hog Island. Dale ensured we had all we needed, including doing the initial grocery shop for us. The infinity pool was always the perfect temperature, great for relaxing in and taking in the views. We opted to forgo a car rental and used Ricky as our driver whenever we needed to go further afield. The island is steep and some roads rocky. The walk to Whisper Cove Marina for lunch or dinner is a short and steep 12 minute adventure :) There is small bar, Benji's just below the villa, close to the dock where you have access to 2 kayaks and a small tender boat w/outboard. Again steep road/path to access this. Everyone we met on the island was so friendly and helpful.
Overall a great time was had by all!

We recently stayed at the villa and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The home is lovely and the view from the veranda overlooking the infinity pool was breathtaking. The villa was very comfortable, clean and met all our needs. The manager, housekeeper and gardener were great to work and very responsive to any requests. The only downside and not noted in the pictures, is the villa is on different levels except for the flight of stairs to the front door and second floor, there are sets of 3-4 stairs on the main level (kitchen, living room, laundry room), making this not the ideal property for people with mobility issues.
Our adult children had a great time kayaking and attempting to catch those elusive fish in the bay. Better luck next time.
Overall, a wonderful property that I would heartily recommend for a relaxing vacation.

We had a fantastic time at Tivigny! The place was even more beautiful than the pictures showed with amazing sunsets from the pool and rooms every night. Management made it very easy to communicate and was quick to answer any questions. The place is well cared for and stocked for cooking. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was great! Would definitely stay again.
Things to be aware of:
It's about 15 mins from most other restaurants (except Whisper Cove Marina), bars, beaches and groceries, so just something to be aware of. A vehicle with all-wheel drive (and experience driving the crazy streets of Grenada) or an experienced cabby is necessary. The hill is very steep and we had multiple cab drivers who refused to do it. Take the management up on their recommended cab drivers and water taxi.
The dingy wasn't there/working, so if you're expecting it, definitely check with them before booking. The two kayaks made it easy to paddle over to Le Phare Blue for lunch. Also, if you're there during the Full Moon Party (Friday after the full moon), bring ear plugs since it goes late into the night. Other than that it was super peaceful.

We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The views from the house are amazing. Location is not too far from anything you need. The pool is awesome. The road in gets rough from the rain. It wasn’t a problem for us but folks should be aware. The beds were comfortable.

Loved our stay here at the Villa. Dale was great was ensuring that all of our needs were met and any questions we had were answered. Solomon the gardener is amazing. He takes such pride in his work and loves to show it off. Yvette was great and lovely to talk to. I would definitely stay at this property again in the future. 5 stars to Dale, the staff, and the wonderful house.

We loved our stay at Tivigny. Having a secluded house during carnival season was just what we needed. We were able to cook meals, make coffee in the mornings, swim morning, noon and night in the pool with breathtaking views. We rented a car and just note that the road is steep going into the neighbourhood where the house is.

Fabulous Honeymoon at Tivigny
Our stay at Tivigny was nothing short of incredible! This was our first stay in Grenada and it set the bar very high for all future trips. The property and villa are spectacular. We had a blast enjoying the pool and views. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped. The property manager was very kind and helpful as were the other staff on the property. We couldn’t recommend Tivigny enough!

The house and grounds were magnificent. Yvette, house keeper, and Solomon, grounds keeper do phenomenal work. The view from our verandas was gorgeous. We traveled the island and we would have been just as happy spending all our time at the house.

Perfect Caribbean Get Away
This was our first time to Grenada and we loved it. It exceeded expectations starting with the villa . This is one of the nicest places we have rented on VRBO. It is very clean and has everything you need. The view is breathtaking from every room, the property is immaculate and the pool is really nice-larger than most private rentals.
We also loved exploring the island - Morne Rouge beach was a favorite along with Grande Anse, Mt Caramel waterfall, and a good variety of restaurants. Don’t miss Little Dipper which is right up the road. It was our favorite meal with the most personal service and beautiful view.
We had the perfect stay and hope to do it all again.

Perfect house with a perfect view
We had an amazing week at Tivigny Villa. Dale was really helpful in arranging the transfer from the airport and a rental car for us. Dale met us at the villa on arrival with the groceries we had asked for. The villa was absolutely spotless and Yvette visited three times over the week to keep it that way. Salomon looks after the beautiful flowers, plants and trees in the garden. All three are really friendly, kind and helpful.
The house itself has two master suites that both have two balconies to enjoy the spectacular view. The kitchen is really well equipped so self-catering is easy. We also has some great meals out. The restaurant at Whisper Cove Marina was good to walk to at lunch or dinner. For a bit more upscale we also went to Calabash Hotel for an excellent lunch. Umbrellas on Grand Anse is also a good spot for lunch.
We enjoyed using the kayaks in the beautiful bay.
All in all a perfect house for a perfect stay.

Comfortable villa w/ wonderful infinity pool and views
This villa is very comfortable and well maintained by its dedicated staff who are extremely helpful. It has everything you need. A housekeeper comes about every 3 days, and a gardener regularly tends to the grounds. The downstairs holds a kitchen, dining area, and living area, one bedroom with bath, and also a laundry and a powder room. There are another two bedrooms upstairs, one for a couple and the other with twin beds. All the beds have mosquito netting— there were some mozzies present during our stay but it was manageable.
Outside there is a beautiful, temperate, salt water infinity pool with a spectacular view of the bay beyond. When you exit the property, you can cross the road, descend to the bay, and take the villa’s dinghy with outboard engine out to snorkel the coral reefs. (We found anchoring a bit tricky so beached the boat in a small cove and swam out.) We rented a car for trips to the supermarket (IGA) which was about a 15 minute drive away, which also enabled us to try a few restaurants outside of the Lower Woburn neighborhood. A very relaxing getaway!

Benn Family Vacation
We had a great time staying at this villa. Pool was great and a great size for having 7 of us. We were just disappointed that there was no dingy to buzz around the bay in. Maybe let your next guest know ahead of time so they can maybe prepare better.

The most amazing view
This property was everything it was advertised as. Yvette (the housekeeper) and Solomon (the grounds keeper) are ABSOLUTELY the best. We thought enjoyed the property. The trip was an opportunity for my husband to reconnect with his family he hadn't seen in 35 years. Although the road to the house can be a little challenging and the house is not centered around anything, if you have a good driver (find a cabby in the city) or rent a car if you are adventurous, you will be fine. We were there to relax and were able to order food delivery from their local version of Door dash. But the house is amazing. Oh and let us not forget the saltwater pool. Awww☺️
Thank you so much Dale for everything.

Unspoilt Caribbean island
A wonderful villa set above a blue water cove peppered with sea going yachts. The villa provided everything for a luxurious holiday even when activities were Covid restricted. The villas little boat was ideal to putter round to Whisper Cove for a takeaway meal. If you like the Caribbean you would love Villa Travigny

Feels like paradise
Tivigny Villa is a beautiful place to stay with spectacular views from every room! The layout is extremely accommodating and the infinity pool was amazing! Several cozy areas outside and around the villa to lounge and sit and eat. The gardens are lush and well taken care of by Solomon! We enjoyed everything about this villa! We would love to come back again! Dale was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. Thank you again!!

Even better than the listing looks
Tivigny’s listing does not do it justice. Everything you could possibly need is there. Bedrooms are air-conditioned, spacious and comfortable with long range views, the kitchen is incredibly well stocked, and there are multiple areas to gather (or to be alone with a book). Because of Covid 19, most of the businesses shut down after our arrival, so we spent a good bit of time at the house and on the local beach and still had a great vacation. Yvette keeps the house running smoothly, and Solomon maintains the stunning garden and will answer all of your horticultural questions. We plan to return when things normalize so we can enjoy all Grenada has to offer.

My stay on St Georges
The experience was great. What I got was as promised in the pictures and on line. I did however have one scare when the dingy, in which we were traveling to go for brunch, stopped working as the gears were not operating.

Wonderful Villa
I have rented many vacation villas in the Caribbean and Villa Tivigny is by far one of the best. The house was just as pictured, warm and comfortable with excellent indoor/outdoor spaces. The kitchen was very well equipped and we enjoyed cooking many of our meals here and eating on the veranda. The pool was amazing and the boat and dock a very nice addition. The villa's location allows for easy drive to beaches on both sides of the island. I would highly recommend Villa Tivigny for any family vacation.

Paradfise in Grenanda
We have rented villas thru out the caribbean and this is one of the nicest yet. The gardens surrounding the property are pristine and well manicured. The house /pool/patios are well thought out as concerns placement to view ,water, sun etc and many private areas so that a party of six can have some privacy. The little Nipper boat was a great add on to the property we will be back in the future no doubt.

Absolutely lovely!
Everything was organized, clean and hospitable. The home is very comfortable and well stocked. The pool is nice for the kids and the views are stunning. There are fun things to do nearby, -on Sundays there is a cool barbecue lime at Roger’s bar on Hog Island and once a month there is a super fun full moon party at the Spronk’s Marina with bbq and live music. I didn’t want to leave Tivigny!

Wonderful Family Holiday
We found Tivigny Villa most relaxing and pleasant for our family holiday. The view and atmosphere is magnificent. All facilities were very comfortable. Kim the manager is thoughtful and diligent. This was our first visit to Grenada and we loved it. But we do recommend you accept Kim's advice, as we did, to have someone show you the way your first time to the Villa. I am a good navigator but I would have missed a key turn!! Thank you Kim.

Absolutely paradise
From the moment you arrive and see the stunning gardens, the view and the lovely villa, you will feel like you have stepped into paradise. The bedrooms are lovely, the home spacious and clean, and the pool is a fantastic size.
Yvette is lovely, and helpful, and the property manager is responsive and friendly.
We used the dinghy to get around and it was great.
Tours will pick you up a five minute walk down the road at the marina (which has fabulous food and a great atmosphere).
If you are in town for the full moon then across the road is a full moon party.

Nice, but not the best choice
Manager Kim was very nice. Stayed for a week in mid December, 2017. Villa is lovely and even better than pictured with incredible landscaping and views. However, T.V. and oven never worked properly and housekeeper Yvette came {unwanted} our last two days and ruined our privacy preparing for the next guests! Along with the nightly noise from new Spronks cafe 50 yards just below, the location far out on Woburn Bay made taking very expensive, unreliable Grenada taxis the only way to leave--a major drawback. Best to be closer to Prickly Bay or Grande Anse beach and away from Spronk's new boatyard.

Stunning home and views
We stayed in this home for 4 days prior to going on sailing trip. It was extremely well appointed and maintained and we really enjoyed it. The location was a little out of the way on a narrow dirt road and driving in Grenada is tricky so we used taxis, which were pretty expensive from this location - get your rate confirmed before you book taxi! A small boat and kayaks provided so that was an added bonus. There were a couple nasty dogs owned by neighbor so walking on road was not pleasant at all. Three interactions with them on the road but fortunately five of us to ward them off. If this location had more restaurants/amenities within walking distance (without agressive dogs) I would give this 5 stars. We would stay here again, because the house really was beautiful.

Amazing family vacation spot!
We have nothing but great things to say about our stay at Tivigny and Grenada overall. This home is so spacious and well equipped.
The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner every night.
The pool was a perfect size for our three kids ages 5, 8 and 10 to enjoy. And it was the perfect spot to watch the sunset every night.
The air conditioning in the bedrooms and the comfortable beds helped everyone sleep great.
We appreciated the nice extras like laundry and dryer and the stereo to listen to music outside.
The boat was such a fun addition. We loved boating over to Whisper Cove marina for breakfast and out to Hog Island.
The location of the house was convenient to get everywhere we drove on the island.
Grenada is such an easy island to navigate, we really loved exploring from La Sagesse beach to hiking at Grand Etang and visiting Jouvay chocolate factory.
In addition I can't forget to mention how friendly the people all over the island are. We felt especially lucky to meet Ursel the housekeeper and Kim.
We highly recommend this house for families!

The most beautiful and secluded spot!
My husband and I recently stayed at The Tivigny House for our honeymoon and we could not have been happier! At the end of the trip I felt so lucky to have found such a perfect spot! The house is completely private with amazing views. The pictures truly do not do this place justice! There is also an awesome sound system that plays outside and throughout the house - such a nice addition!
The Tivigny staff made our stay even better. Kim, the house manager, was so friendly and responsive to all of our questions and requests. She made sure our stay was perfect! Ursel and Ubert were also amazing - you must have a meal made by Ursel! They were essential to making our honeymoon as relaxing as possible!
I would recommend The Tivigny house over and over again! We can't wait to start planning our next trip!

Georgeous Property, Superb Manager, Wonderful Vacation Spot
This is a stunningly beautiful property with great management. Kim patiently answered all my questions pre- and post-booking, helped with the stocking of the refrigerator prior to our arrival, and cheerfully arranged complimentary transportation from the airport--all of which I would recommend. Kim also recommended a local rental car agency that dropped a car at the villa the morning after our arrival. We, like most I guess due to flight scheduling, arrived after dark. When we arrived, we were met by Ursil, the very sweet housekeeper (and great cook too), who had lit the villa in anticipation of our arrival. You are expecting, from the pictures on VRBO, a beautiful home. Let me say, the pictures do not do it justice. It is absolutely stunning at night (and in the day too) with terra cotta tile throughout, rich mahogany trim, and a well equipped, modern kitchen. At your disposal you will find a Hobie Cat sailboat, 2 kayaks, and a small motorized dinghy. There are a few restaurants easily accessible by boat and we motored to lunch on several occasions. All great fun! Here is what concerned me prior to traveling, and what I experienced:
1) Driving on the left -- actually this was my biggest concern. Having never done this before (it should be on everyone's bucket-list) It took about a day of driving and then it was natural. The first day requires a lot of focus, but after that, no problem whatsoever. Yes you can do it too. By the way, you can spot the Americans because instead of using their turn-signals, they turn their windshield wipers on. I did it, you'll do it too....
2) Mosquitos - yes there are a few. I'd say there are fewer than most places I have lived in the U.S. A little bit of OFF bug spray applied kept them away completely.
3) Reception of the local people -- one never knows how the locals will react to Americans. All I can say is that we were warmly received EVERYWHERE we went. The island has a reputation for hospitality and I have to say that I experienced that over and over again. Grenadians are warm, fun loving, generous people and we felt welcomed again and again.
In the end, the things that concerned me prior to travel, were not the least bit troubling once I arrived.
If you want a unique vacation in a beautiful spot with wonderful hosts, this is the place for you. We will always remember our trip to this beautiful island and the gorgeous villa where we stayed. We absolutely loved it there.

THE BEST HOME AWAY FROM HOME EXPERIENCE EVER!
I stayed at Tivigny Villa for about seven days with several friends for a destination wedding in Grenada. When I first contacted the property manager Kim, I already knew how wonderful our stay was going to be based on Kim's pleasantness through our communications prior to arriving. Even before arriving, she was going above and beyond to ensure that our visit would be as comfortable as it can be. It was a huge plus to have complimentary shuttle service pick us up at the airport.
Upon arrival to the Villa, our jaws dropped at how beautiful the villa was, and just as jaw dropping were the amazing views of Clarkes Court Bay and Hog Island from the villa. I am an avid traveler and usually dislike staying under a single roof the entire time while on a visit to another country. This is the very first time ever that I barely wanted to move a muscle because it was just so relaxing and peaceful staying right in the Villa with everything I needed right at my fingertips. Some of my friends love cooking, so having a fully stocked kitchen with kitchenware was heavenly for them. Not to mention the outdoor grill which we took full advantage of.
All three bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable with their own bathrooms within the bedrooms, which was amazing for privacy. The two main bedroom suites have beautiful views of the bay. There is also a stereo with amazing speakers that can be played to the speakers within the house or to the speakers by the pool area. The stereo comes equipped with a wire to plug in your music player or phone.
I’d have to say that one of my favorite experiences of staying at the villa was using the kayaks and small dingy boat for a short and leisurely 20 minute ride on the bay over to Hog Island, where we came across a beautiful and secluded beach that we had all to ourselves all day.
I have to also add that Ursel who is the house keeper was really wonderful and came over to the house several times during our stay for upkeep and to make sure our stay was going pleasant.
Thanks again to Kim, Ursel, and all the wonderful local people I met during my visit to Grenada. I speak for all my friends that came along on this trip that we will certainly be back.

Beautiful Villa, Beautiful Views!
We had a fabulous stay at Tivigny Villa! The house , view and garden were beautiful. We felt at home the minute we walked through the door. The house is beautiful and the bedrooms spacious. 2 of the 3 bedrooms are identical masters. They both have beautiful views but the view from the upstairs master was spectacular. The house is appointed with anything you could possibly need. The kitchen has any utensil, pot, pan or dish you might want. There is a dining area with pool and ocean views as well as a covered outdoor dining area. The infinity pool is lovely and has a wonderful view! We loved spending time in the pool when we were "home"
I cant say enough good things about Kim the property manager. She was incredibly helpful both before and during our trip. She was quick to respond by e mail whenever we had a question and checked in on us several times throughout our stay. She arranged for transportation from the airport to the Villa and shopped for some groceries to have waiting for us. Since we were arriving after dark and didn't yet have a rental car, we didn't know what to do about dinner our first night. We asked her about this in advance. Kim suggested that the housekeeper, Ursel, could prepare something in advance that we could reheat....that worked out perfectly! The meal was delicious! Definitely have Ursel prepare at least one meal for you! She stayed until we arrived (way above and beyond) She pointed things out to us and gave us some tips.
We had a rental car delivered to the house the house the next day. Driving is a ittle tricky. The roads are narrow and the local people drive quickly. I wouldn't try and go anywhere without GPS. We downloaded a Grenada map onto our GPS before we left home. I would recommend the same or ask the car rental company if they can provide one. We especially enjoyed the beaches, visiting the rainforest and waterfalls. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation and will definitely return to Tivigny Villa.....We didn't want to leave!

Paradise in the West Indies
My husband and I have traveled the Caribbean extensively. For the past seven years we have enjoyed staying at the Tivigny House more than any other and plan to return. We especially appreciate the calm quiet atmosphere which accompanies the gorgeously appointed home with wonderful amenities and a five star staff. All of our needs and wishes are seamless arranged. We could not be more pleased.

Amazing!
My husband and I are frequent travelers and usually visit the Caribbean every year. Our accommodations have ranged from private villas , moderate hotels and luxury resorts. This year, we traveled with another couple. Tivigny , and Grenada exceeding our expectations!
The house itself is perfectly appointed, spacious , comfortable and gorgeous. The 2 master bedrooms with private baths on separate floors were perfect.
The kitchen had everything we needed. We cooked in often and loved it. One night we had Ursel, the wonderful housekeeper, cook us a delicious authentic Grenadian meal. She is great! ( sorry about all the empty wine bottles, we DID enjoy ourselves!).
The grounds are so pretty. We used the fresh herbs from the garden most meals.
The location is good for exploring most parts of the island. We did have a rental, but used a guide to take us to the rainforest and one night to the Friday Fish Fry. Just FYI, the walk down to beach is a bit steep. It could be challenging for some. We had no problem, but thought I would mention. It is a small, black sand beach with some rocks and sea grass as you get in. We used the " Nipper" and loved it. We took it to Hog Island, Whisper Cove Marina ( go here for great food and fun times with the yachties!), and also did some snorkeling at a small sand bar.
I can't say enough about the property manager, Kim. She was extremely helpful throughout the entire time. From initial contact and my million questions, to meeting us at the grocery store and loading her car up with our bags, to making us feel comfortable knowing we could contact her throughout our stay, thanks, Kim.
Grenada is a special island filled with extremely friendly people.
We will definitely be back.
