The location is superb. You will feel like you are staying in a garden.

The bed is very low (and too soft) for me.

Spectacular hotel, set in a spectacular setting with exceptional service levels and friendliness. Restaurant was was excellent and even when full they still managed to find space for us. We will return.

no air con with 32 degrees outside, very hot night. extra charge to use the pool is very disappointing, especially with no other way to cool off

The hotel is set in wonderful parkland on the outskirts of Magadaburg, the rooms were tasteful decorated and furnished as a late 18th/early 19th century spar. We had a big bathroom and a lovely room in the eves of the building. The breakfast buffet had a large selection of items and the swimming pool and sauna were well appointed. Though the pool was a little small.

We would liked to have eaten dinner in the resturant but it was fully booked. It would be useful if guests could be advised of the need to book in advance as this avoids disappointment. Car parking was very tricky and we had to park in the paid carpark as all the free spaces were taken. Its was a little annoying to find that the hotel had an EV charging point (which we could have used) but it was not clearly signposted.

Some facilities seem a bit outdated. We were told that it was not sure we could get a place at the restaurant. For a “remotely located” hotel, you should be secured a place if you are a guest as there are not other options around.

we are used to get a stop there when we are travelling trough germany and this has been always a very nice experience. Hotel is veru well located , furniture are not new but very clean as well as the room ; staff is also always very helpfull . Unluckily we have no times enough tp stay longer than one night .

Breakfast price is really too high compare with what it is proposed

Accommodation was very good. Staff were great Claudia the receptionist was very helpful.

In my room there has been some draft beneath the windows on the floor.

the bathroom was a shame: the shower door broken, the toilet cap moving, dirty black marks everywhere. Also, we asked to clean the room but my wife, who is German, didn’t understood thearrival instructions at the reception about the cleaning policies, so we received 4 drinks vouchers to skip the room cleaning. once we realised it, we asked to change it because we would like our room to be cleaned every day and the receptionist deny this request, so 0 flexibility. Also, our hall was always in the dark, lights were always off for an unknown reason. I bought my own toilet paper after waiting 3 days from the personal to clean the room, also we asked for a dinner table one night and they mentioned that they don’t have any available one, so we asked for a room service and they answer was the hotel is not having personal to do it, so we picked our 75€ 2 meals from the kitchen by ourselves. All of this after expending 1000€ in a dinner with our friends at the restaurant on Friday 10th…and this is a 4 star plus hotel? I don’t think so. this is the first and last time we’re staying here.

I missed water cattle in the standard room.

Very friendly staff. I arrived late, so they even called before asking if I was hungry so they could prepare dinner for my late arrival!

The staff was friendly and helpful. Good options at the bar and in the restaurant. Hotel is located in a park, which will be lovely for a summer visit and hang out outside.

Hotel is very outdated. The room we had wasn't cozy at all. Bed was very low, good mattress, though. Baby cot wasn't comfortable for our little one, didn't have a proper mattress/insert, and you could feel the legs of if thru where the child was sleeping - ended up sleeping in bed with us. Old bathroom/shower. In the room, besides the bed, you can sit only on a single armchair with wooden armrest (also to watch TV). It wasn't a comfortable place you want to crash after a long day/drive. Nothing in the mini bar, no coffee machine/water cooker in the room either.
