die Lage zum Strand war recht gut ,das war allerdings auch schon alles

in der Buchung war nicht erwähnt das das Hotel renoviert wird und eine einzige Baustelle ist. Der Baulärm ist enorm hoch auch auf dem Zimmer, die Klimaanlage ist ebenfalls sehr laut, kühlt aber leiter nicht, Nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen bestädigt uns das Hotel das sie ein Problem mit der Kühlung haben. Das Frühstück ist mehr als spärlich, wenn man zb mal keine Eier wollte und dafür ein Würstchen so groß wie ein kleiner Finger kostete das extra. Am Abreisetag unser Flug ging am Abend fragten wir ob wir noch vorher Duschen können es wurde bejaht, als es soweit war wuste leiter keiner mehr was davon

A una cuadra de la playa, aseo diario, por la parte de atrás puedes salir y a una cuadra queda Macdonald, Wendy's, KFC, etc. Rodeado de restaurantes y discos. Excelente trato del personal, tiene barra con agua, café,. El desayuno muy rico

I don't know why there's so many bad reviews about this hotel. I think is a good place to stay it has a big pool with bar and many sitting areas. The staff is very friendly. Every single day they did the cleaning in the room. It's true they're under construction but it doesn't affect at all. The location is very convenient close to the (very expensive) restaurants and close to the beach

There was not coffee machine in the room and no telephone to call front desk neither drinking water for customers also when I made the reservation it said it has a gym (with photos) For me it's important because most of the time I train. I ask where is the gym? They said "there's not gym" 😒 so please remove those photos and let people know there's not gym at all.

When discouraged to see that state of the premises under construction, I believe our room was uprated to something more acceptable. Unfortunately, the room was so newly remodled, that the caulking had not been administered to the shower, so water all over the floor! Clean, modern attempts, but not what we were expecting. We would have been happier at our Airbnb. We considered going back, but chose to "tough it out".

The pool area was a HUGE disappointment! That was one of our experiences that we looked forward to and it was an awful site...we did not swim in that pool!

Location to downtown

They didn’t make you aware it is under construction until after you book it and can’t cancel because you will lose your money. They property is 100% nothing like the photos on the listing. Our room was grimy, stains on the bedding and floors. Shower bearly worked. And there was no power for a bit. I would run the other way from this hotel.

Great location, close to the beach and all of the restaurants. The staff was friendly and always available.

Had no idea about their current renovation. Couldn’t sleep after 8AM because of construction workers drilling in our wall, extremely annoying. We needed to have the curtains down so the workers wouldn’t see right in to our room. This made the experience very bad.

They're in process of remodeling the hotel. Our room and bathroom were clean, beds comfortable & convenient to beach, food & entertainment. Friendly staff.. I'll definitely stay again.

The breakfast was a buffet setting and it was yummy! The staff that runs breakfast and the front desk were the most amazing and friendliest women I have ever met. They were so welcoming and incredible and made me feel very welcomed.

I requested that a red stain on the floor of the shower be cleaned. It was never done. It was very disturbing hearing the toilets of what felt like the entire building all night. The door to the room seemed poorly sized. Property definitely needs updating.

Front office staff. Night receptionist didn't have access or authority to check in a bookings.com reservation. Had to call the manager who was not on property. Then the price changed. Room smelled like smoke, was in disrepair. Choose another hotel!

Location was absolutely fabulous, two minutes from the beach, where sun loungers and clean towels were applied free of charge. The hotel's greatest asset is undoubtedly the staff. Always smiling and helpful. Tell them so, they'll appreciate it! Beds were super comfy in the Superior king sized room. Air-conditioning worked well, and the room had a dehumidifier - handy tip, Aruba is super humid so you need to empty the dehumidifier reservoir yourself, the cleaner's do it once a day but you need to do it every four hours. Breakfast was quite varied but cycled through three day choices so was a bit boring by day 15. The pool area was quiet and relaxing, if a little tired.

The hotel is a little tired, but that's reflected in the price. A premium hotel in the same areas going to cost you three times the price and TBH those girls are super bustling around the pools and bars. Breakfast was served in paper plates with disposable cutlery, certainly a throwback to COVID-19. I've stayed in Hilton's with the same hygiene policy but to some it works seem cheap. I've read reviews about noise from the nearby nightclub, true there was some music but it wasn't intrusive as long as you stay on the front of the hotel, I can imagine the noise to the rear may have been much worse.

We booked Brickell Bay at last minute as we had to unexpectedly extend our holiday due to my husband being admitted to hospital. Our previous hotel was fully booked and unable to accommodate us. Our previous hotel was more than 3 x the price & our only regret is that we didn't book Brickell Bay from the start of our holiday. Yes the rooms need a little updating (but were in better condition than our previous 5* accommodation!) there is evidence that the hotel is being updated during our stay but was being completed considerately and without disruption. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable, every member of staff were friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. We would 100% recommend Brickell Bay and will return when we holiday in Aruba in the future.
