The view is amazing, the room is elegant and clean. The bathroom is big.

The area is beautiful. The lovely village Sallent is 4.5 kilometer away. Within walking distance you only have the (winter sports) hotels and some tourist terraces/ pizzerias etc. Hotel is clean and room is spacious, spacious bathroom with bathtub. Bed is good with fine sheets. Friendly receptionists. Check in and check out went smooth and fast. The Spa - swimming pool- is free for guests. The stay was ok.

It was very hot in the room when we entered and the airco did not work, even after 1 hour it did not cool down a bit. Luckily the window could open at night. The freezer compartment of the fridge did not work. We opted for two beds when booking but apparently that was not available. We couldn't have dinner as it was reserved for groups. We had counted on it. The distance to Sallent, but we probably should have known.

Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice. Location was superb,every room seemed to have a fantastic view. lovely large comfortable rooms, well separated en suite with good facilities.

Air conditioning was awful…. Left it on for an hour to cool room…it warmed it up! The in room fridge…put some drinks in for the night to chill…they came out hotter the following morning. Was advised that dinner was not served when I checked in…so went for a wander into the nearby village to return on the second night of my stay to find dinner service in full swing! Slightly tired…nearly update time?

The room was a good size with plenty of space, and was clean.

Travelers with pets need to beware. We were aware of the 20 euro charge, which was fine, but restrictions applied to pet movements whilst at the hotel are prohibitive. Our dog was not allowed in the restaurant, which we understood, but we weren't allowed to sit and eat breakfast in any other room, including the adjacent bar area, which was empty in the morning, and our own room. The only way for us to enjoy breakfast would have been to leave the dog in our room, which was unacceptable given that this was an unfamiliar environment for the dog. Extremely annoyed about this.

Location

Many things, please see our complaints letter: The hotel manager said he could not give a discount as the booking was via booking.com, we would have expected as valued customers that your team would have negotiated with the hotel. Based on your reputation and the marketing you portray on behalf of the hotel, not all the facilities were on offer. We booked the hotel specifically for the sauna and steam room for use every day after skiing as required for mature customers! The hotel is tired, the decoration and facilities are in places past their best and are not a 4 star standard. The mini bar as advertised by your company is only a fridge! I would advise you to visit the hotel and alter your marketing literature accordingly, we trusted booking.com and have been badly let down! We have photographs to prove torn sofa's, worn wooden sinks etc. The hotel offered us a 25€ free meal in the restaurant for 1 person, the other 3 would need to spend 75€. We did not take up this initial offer as the restaurant is not conducive, it is brightly lit and there is no atmosphere, also numerous lovely meal choices are available in the town for a lot less cost and in nicer restaurants! We were awaiting an offer of an alternative means of compensation for the lack of working facilities following the receptionist speaking to the hotel manager, this never came into fruition. The weather turned on Thursday which prevented us from skiing. Had all the facilities been available, we would have stayed as planned until today. All in all it was an unpleasant stay, given we have spent nearly 1,000€. We await a more positive response from your team.

Nice place, clean, comfortable room, very nice breakfast. Good location- right in the center. Free shuttle to the ski station.

There is always only one person at the reception. Sometimes there are queues that take 15min to get help. Same with the phone, nobody to answer.

Sausage, eggs and bacon were cold. These should have been hot items.

The room was extremely hot and no way to turn of the heat. We had to sleep with the outside door open. It was terrible. Staff wasn’t helpful on this issue

Staff were lovely, lift shuttle service and the room.

Did not clear snow off the terrace so wife could not sit in the sun.

Breakfast was amazing and the beds super confortable. The transport to the ski station very Clean, Safe and Puntual. I loved our stay at the hotel.

The only thing I dislike was that they stopped serving dinner at the cafeteria at 22.00h and we didn't arrived on time.

3 course evening meal at 18 euros was good value and the entrecot steak was enormous. View out over ski slopes was great and would be spectacular in winter.

Thought the breakfast selection was only average and would have expected better for 4 stars
