Food not good and overpriced

We ate dinner and breakfast. Lovely restaurant..

Very comfortable, and quiet, bedrooms. Very impressed with the quality of the sound-proofing! Hadn’t realised there was a football match being played the evening that I was there, and was somewhat concerned about potential noise. Delighted that, with the window closed for the duration of the match, I was undisturbed.

It was near enough to walk to town centre. Spotlessly clean. The girl who did the room was very nice and always asked if we needed anything.

We had a meal on the Sunday and wished we had just went out instead. Service was awful and staff need to be trained in customer service. Meal was very disappointing for what we were charged. Got a white vegetable didn't know what it was but you couldn't get a knife through it. Twice we had to ask for water. The list is too long to go on but in this industry your staff should have a smile on their face. We went into town on Saturday night and had a lovely meal at a place called The Goldberry. Nothing was too much bother. I even asked for extra gravy and it was brought in a small jug. The steak pie was great with mashed potatoes and veg. My partner had 3 different tapas. It took him to finish it there was so much. The girls serving were great and very friendly. Lovely place to have a meal and very reasonably priced.

Location was good. Rooms were very clean and neat. Really spacious rooms. Bigger than I thought they'd be. Having my own private bath rather than just a regular shower was really nice. And the bed was nice and wide. Quite comfy.

My overall complaints are minor. They're more little flaws that could be fixed in future. The internet was a bit slow and so it was a little frustrating to use. The side of my bath had a small layer of dust although the inside was clean. The floor was a bit creaky inside my room. Quite loud the creaks. But nothing that indicates it's broken just loud whenever walking normally.
