The location is great. It is where tourists can find good local and foreign food, all within walking distance. The location is generally tranquil except at certain times of the day. There is a nearby laundry service that provides a value-for-money service. If you do not like the hotel's shampoo, you can buy it from the small shop nearby for around 10 cents per sachet. And the place is so safe and clean. I especially like the Asian selection for the breakfast. Every morning they have hot noodles, rice, 1 meat and 1 vegetable. They provide at least 2 kinds of fruits and eggs are cooked on the spot to your preference. Can't ask for more. The beds are sufficiently hard and comfortable.

If you are looking for 5-star hotel kind of furnishing, this hotel is not for you. While generally clean, the fixtures (especially bathroom fixtures) are quite run down. It is OK for me, but not for everyone. You also get occasional insects entering the room. The other thing I did not enjoy was the loud wake-up call for morning prayers starting from 4:45 am (from different mosques). However, having been to many parts of Indonesia, it is something you cannot escape from.

The size of the room and the cleanliness of the room was excellent. The setting was very pretty and it was a good distance away from what seemed to be the main strip. A short walk but set back enough so you couldn’t hear the noise.

There’s very little sound proofing in the room we stayed. We could lay in bed and hear conversations of those from adjoining rooms. The culture is wonderful but if you are a light sleeper, be warned that the noise from the nearby mosque is very loud early in the morning.

great garden, quiet location in an alley off the bigger streets, easy walking distance to a number of restaurants. nice pool, great terrace for sitting in the evening and reading, VERY friendly staff!!!

Great location- nice and quiet after hectic of Yogyakarta- nice pool - beautiful garden - very friendly staff - walking distance from several restaurant - would recommend to anyone and surely book again.
